7 day stay. I was so excited about this booking. I am sad to have to write this review. This house suffers from wanting to flip it for the next customer as quick as possible without any consideration for what the next renter's experience will be. This property needs to be taken off the rental market to be deep cleaned, fixed up, and powerwashed. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW PEOPLE HAVE GIVEN THIS PROPERTY THE RATINGS THEY HAVE. I can see it was once fantastic 7 years ago from the pics on google maps. The creek cannot be beat. But, it was flanked by a broken, sharp plastic chair & broken picnic table.
The property smelled horrible and the air filters which were gross. (Mary did come to change them). The smell didn't go away though. The property wasn't cleaned well at all. It was tidied and admittedly broom swept due to time constraints with 5 properties being managed by 1 manager. Needs a separate cleaning crew to actually get what you're paying for at $300 per night. I'm going to post pics on googlemaps. Pics are worth a thousand words and i cannot write it all here. The kitchen needs to be gutted and updated. We aren't fancy and are fine with old and rustic, not dirty/unsafe. Bunk beds cracked. Took owner days to get back to me each time. Didnt respond to personal emails and finally did w VRBO, so use that only. If you cook/are clean, don't book here Layers of grossness on table/side tables. So sad. Needs to be remedied at owners expense, not renter/property manager's.

Our boys (5 & 7) LOVED our visit here. So many fun activities to do at the cabin and close by in Maggie Valley. Super fun creek with crawdads and salamanders, slide, see saw, fire pit and hot tub. Safe yard and deck. Location was super close to all the fun activities and restaurants in town. We will be back :)

We picked this house over the others because we had 3 kids, five and under, staying with us and the playground was too good to pass up. They literally wanted to stay at the house and play most of the time so I don’t think we could have picked a better property to stay at. We will be back for sure!

Overall we had the most amazing time! The only complaint I could say is that the sheet wouldn’t stay on the mattress, so maybe one that has the deep sides on it would be better. Other than that it was awesome!! We will be back again and look forward to our next stay at Creekside Hideaway II

This home was located in a convenient location to all the things we were interested in doing. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for some great fall colors and snow. Easy to get in and out of and a variety of restaurants in near proximity. Enjoyed our time there.

The property is very convenient to get to and park more than one vehicle. There is plenty of seating in the living room and a large table for the number of guest that the cabin can sleep. My 3-year-old grandson had so much fun playing in the creek and the play equipment. Really enjoyed our stay.

This cabin is well maintained and absolutely perfect for a vacation with family. There are plenty of beds and the back yard with the hot tub, fire pit and stream is just beautiful! The owner is very responsive and took the time to make a book with everything you need to know about places to eat, things to do, etc. 100% will be back!

Great location; near restaurants, shops and attractions, yet feels secluded, even with houses next door. Loved the lush, wooded lot and especially the rushing creek in the back yard. Kids and adults alike enjoyed playing in it! We found the property to be just as pictured online. House was large enough for our family of 5 kids and 5 adults. Master bed and bath were especially spacious. Bath towels and bed linens were very good quality but we would have liked more than one kitchen towel. Log bunk beds were quite a novelty for the kids, but they felt a little shackly and squeaked with the slightest movement. Overall, we enjoyed the house and property.

Creekside hideaway 2 was a very nice cabin very roomy for a larger family and family friendly the kids loved the play area and the slide I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great family friendly cabin we would definitely stay there again.

Me and my buddies rented this cabin for a snowboarding weekend trip and LOVED this place!! Perfect location. House was clean, cozy, and so close to downtown! Had a fire right by the creek and sat in the hot tub. Minutes away from Cataloochee Ski Area. Will definitely be returning!!!

This house was everything and more! We have already made plans to come back during the summer. It was beautiful, clean, and stocked with more than you could need. Everything that we wanted to do was close by. Listening to the creek while enjoying rocking chairs at night was just so relaxing.
Maybe we didn’t find them, but I suggest bringing a little blanket like we did to sit on the couch by the fire. It’s so relaxing to just snuggle up by.

This home was a very family friendly rental unit. It was accommodating for young children and senior adults . I would highly recommend this unit for everyone staying in the Maggie Valley area. Also, the property owner was very responsive and provided a great deal of information about things to in the area.

My partner and I had a fantastic trip to Creekside Hideaway II. The house matched exactly what was advertised on the pictures. It was easy to find even after road delays and arriving after 11pm. The house was in a great location just off the main highway through town. Restaurants and shops are walkable and plentiful in area. Blue Ridge Parkway entrance less than 20 minutes from driveway. The creek was our favorite thing about the house. Definitely enough of a creek to hear on wrap around porch. It was so relaxing. Property lined with trees keeping view from neighbors in area secluded and felt like your private woods from the backyard. Any family would love this cozy and comfortable place. Hot tub was perfect too. Definitely would recommend this to any type of group staying. It was perfect for our romantic getaway and spacious enough for 10 people. Cheaper than paying for the one bedroom cabins geared towards only couples - with more to offer!
