The stay at the Bagnaie was perfect. The location is the best for visiting the surrounding area. This is our third trip to Tuscany and we enjoyed this place the best. The pictures online does not do the views justice. Dinner on the patio area overlooking Tuscany at sunset is amazing. Book Serena to prepare meals for you. JUST DO IT! She is wonderful to come back to after a long day of touring and eat her delicious cuisine and watch the Tuscan sun slowly set from the patio. Perfection. The owner answered all my questions so quickly. We had an excellent week in Tuscany. It just went by too fast.

Serenity, Beautiful views and the cherry on top was a stellar meal cooked by Serena. DO NOT miss that opportunity. It will be a highlight of y our experience. This was the perfect location to visit so many other amazing parts of the Tuscany and Umbria region. What more could one ask for? 5 stars!

Fantastic location, stunning views, and amazing pool

The property is actually undersold on the website. Such incredible views and beauty it is hard to capture in the limited photos. Location excellent, accommodation’s excellent, great place to relax, cook and drink wine with family and friends. Having Serena cook for you is an absolute must! Can’t wait to come back!

I spent 6 days in October in the Barn, along with my husband and two other couples (ages 50 -72). The house itself was perfect for us. We did lots of cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, and used the wood BBQ outside most days as well. Serena cooked a meal for us and it was amazing. The living room also had ample room, and we used the wood fireplace a couple of nights, which was lovely in October. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with an ensuite, which was important for us and not easy to find. All the beds and baths are upstairs, which could be an issue for some travellers, but it worked for us. The views are spectacular! We planned to use the barn as a base to explore the area, but we ended up spending most of our time on the property because it was so lovely. We used the pool most days. The Barn is the closest home to the pool, but there were not many other guests in the other homes, so it was pretty quiet. That may not be the case in a busier season, but there is plenty of distance and trees between the pool and the Barn, so it is very private. The nearest town is about a 15 minute drive, so we did our grocery shopping there. We spent 2 weeks in 3 locations in Tuscany and this location and home was the best of them all. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. We would love to come back and would surely recommend it!

We have stayed at The Barn at le Bagnaie four times and each vacation has been wonderful. The sunsets overlooking the vineyards are unforgettable. This visit was made even more special by the delicious meal prepared by Serena and served outside as the sun set. We can’t wait to return!

If you want to feel like you have come to Tuscany on a private estate, this is your place. It is a beautifully maintained private property with 7 villas and a gardener who keeps it pristine. The pool is huge. The Barn is the best house on the property I think because it is the one right next to the pool and it has the best views perched on the end of the hill. You cannot believe the views - the pictures are totally accurate. The house is so beautifully restored and preserved in original farmhouse style with bathrooms that have all been very comfortably updated with really nice stone. The water pressure is amazing too! Serena the private chef who is available to book not only makes great food but is also one of kindest people you will meet. I can’t wait to come back.

We love Bagnaie. this is our second time in our second house. While all have been renovated, some of the kitchens are less updated than one would expect. Ours had screens and renovated bathrooms which is a huge plus. The doors on the first floor open up to the surrounds which is great for breezes and views. Did I mention the views. My goodness. they look over gorgeous vineyards with sunsets to die for. Corin's unit is near the pool which is great if you have kids. It also has a nice outdoor eating area. Overall, a great place to stay.

Overall, a wonderful property in a spectacular location. We had a spectacular holiday. The property was well equipped but would have benefited from beer and Prosecco glasses and more plastic glasses to use around the pool. The Wi-Fi was sporadic and unreliable. The meals prepared by Serena were superb. We suffered a lot from mosquito bites and would have appreciated some guidance on how to handle them.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay, and can't wait to come back again next year.

Our family of five had the BEST time here. The setting and views across the Tuscan hills are just breathtaking. Add to this the fabulous pool and the stunning nearby villages - and all there is to do in wine country - and you have the perfect vacation. We had everything we needed and more. This property is very well cared for and has clearly been a labor of love that we were lucky enough to get to share. Thank you again to the hosts!

we spent wonderful time at The Barn. the house is cozy and comfortable. charming living room and great kitchen (two fridges!) outstanding view from the beautiful privet garden and terraces from where we have contemplated sunsets every evening. few steps to the swimming pool. fantastic place for vacation.

This is a superb property in a very beautiful location, albeit some way off the beaten track but it does benefit from wonderful views across the Chianti landscape. The pool was perfect and never overcrowded and our holiday was rounded off with a private Tuscan meal cooked and served by teh wonderful Serena - a godess of Tuscan cuisine! Highly recommended.

Had an awesome stay at the Barn. The home was perfect, better than could have expected! We had Serena cook for us one evening and it was fabulous. It rained most of the time but the comfort of the Barn wrapped around you and kept us warm. Highly recommend this property! Castillini in Chianti is absolutely charming with some good and friendly restaurants. We can’t wait to go back!!

My wife and stayed at Le Bagnaie for part of our honeymoon and wanted something quiet and romantic. The barn and land are gorgeous and definitely off the beaten path. We made day trips to Montalcino, and Montepulciano with plenty of winery visits in between. Serena made us the best meal we’ve ever had. I cannot recommend her enough. We’d love to return some day!

The Barn was exactly what we hoped for...and more! An amazing sunset, a lovely garden, an old world home with all the modern conveniences. Serena cooked for us and it was the most amazing meal we had...Jacky was so helpful - found us the perfect spot to watch the Hillclimb race. Can’t wait to return!

The surroundings of this villa are breathtaking!! We enjoyed our stay so much. The interior reminds me of a English cottage, but with updated bathrooms. The pool was beautiful. Would love to come again.

The Barn at Bagnaie was even better than we expected - perfect location, beautiful views, and spectacular sunsets! The peaceful location was perfect after our busy week in Rome and the Italian Riviera. From the beautifully restored Barn, we day-tripped easily to both Florence and Siena. But we actually enjoyed the days we stayed at the Barn most...we took several walks in the area and relaxed on the patios. Almost every day we picked fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden to enjoy with our meals. We had such a great time, we are already talking about returning!

This House probably has one of the best locations in the Chianti or even Tuscany. We travel to Tuscany for over 25 years now so know a few places by now. The view is stunning and paints the typical Tuscan countryside the way it has earned its unique reputation! Add to that the beautiful house that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in and you have the perfect recipe for your dream Tuscan holiday! The big pool with also the superb view is the cherry on the crostata! For us it is the reason we have come back and will do so again sometime soon.

We loved our stay. The pool is great. Serena is a must. Castellina was our favorite little town.

Our family decided to drive through France for one week and then stay at The Barn for a week. We had the most relaxing and memorable vacation! Jacky, the house manager, was most kind and helpful. We swam daily, enjoyed Serena's magnificent cooking, and relaxed on this majestic property. We never wanted to leave.

We were a party of five that stayed in “The Barn”. It was an idyllic setting and upon opening the shutters each morning was so beautiful it did not appear real. The villa had everything we needed for an amazing week spent in Tuscany. However the hi lite of our entire 18 days spent traveling throughout Italy was the meals prepared for us by Serena. We were lucky enough to reserve her for two nights of our week long stay. Definitely the best food enjoyed on our trip. Even surpassing the Michelin Star restaurant we dined at during our stay in Sorrento. She is as sweet as she is talented. Try as we might we could not convince her to leave Tuscany and come home with us to California. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return myself some day.

The barn is the perfect place to stay while visiting Tuscany. Sitting atop a hill overlooking the valley and faraway hills, the barn is appointed well. The gardens outside the barn doors are beautifully and artistically designed. You will want to spend most of your time outside to enjoy the incredible views and gardens. The barn has many outdoor sitting and eating areas. The grounds are full of gorgeous flowers, especially roses, as well as herbs. Inside is a charming rustic Italian villa with roomy bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the fireplace as it was unusually cold this May in Tuscany. Jacky, the manager is wonderful and always there for your needs. We had Serena cook for us one night. Be sure to experience her cooking! The pool is large and looks inviting but was too cold for us this time. The barn is perfectly centrally located to visit all of Tuscany. We headed in a different direction each day. The barn is also separated from the rest of the villas on the property, which we liked. All in all, we were very glad we chose the barn, and will be back one day!

A lovely few days enjoying the region. Friends were staying in another Le Bagnaie property and so we were close yet had our own space. Thoroughly recommend, the Barn is very well equipped.

The Barn is a very cozy place. The rooms are very confortable and the bathrooms are modern. The house is fully equipped, especially the kitchen, and the open concept allows to share conversations as one cooks. The fireplace was a great company for the after dinner chats. Serena cooked for us twice and each time was delicious. Jacky was very helpful and always available.

I have been going to “the barn” for many years. Each time it is more beautiful. I appreciate how well it is maintained both the terrific house and the wonderful gardens. The pool and tennis courts make it a perfect place for families. I have recommended it to several of my friends and all have agreed being there was a perfect family vacation. As for me and my “old” friends we love to cook with the wonderful veggies from the garden, shop and drink capuchinos in Castellina and have a glass of wine while watching the magnificent sunsets from the terrace

Incredible experience from the moment of booking on through to the prompt refund of our security deposit. Wonderful working with Corin--who could not have been more accommodating. It was obvious upon arrival that every guest amenity was provided. Jacky also was very conscientious--checking to make sure we had everything we needed. The meals Serena prepared for us were fantastic--we highly recommend that memorable opportunity. The setting is one we will never forget, and we hope to be able to return someday.

First and foremost I would like to thank Corin for sharing her property with us! It was absolutely wonderful in every way. The villa was clean and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. The views were nothing short of breathtaking. Thanks to google maps we had no difficulty navigating the roads around Castellina. We traveled every day to tour the wineries or visit one of the many charming hill towns. At night, we'd come back and sit by the pool, taking in the beautiful sunsets, while drinking the finest Italian red wines we found on our journey that day. As previous reviewers have noted, the hidden gem is Serena. She cooked us two fabulous meals! She is so sweet and we really enjoyed her company. A final shout out to Jacky, the property manager for making our stay so comfortable.
