We were originally a group of 16 ppl from whoch only 11 could make it due to some getting covid and not being able to travel. This home would not have been able to confortably fit 16 pol. First of all the house is not as big as it seems from the pictures. The house is broken into two different rental units. The living are is small and did not have enough sitting for all of us. The kitchen was not new and a little bit dirty and old. The rooms and bathrooms look old and a little dirty as well. The third room is an open space on the third floor it has 4 king size beds but i do not think you can fot inflatables there as the ceiling is not flat so people sleeping on inflatables would hit rhere heads on the ceiling. The other thing that we did not like was the bbeach accross from the house. It does not have any sand and it is not pretty. The water hits the end of the street so no way to lay and enjoy it. Looks like this is were locals go more than tourists. There were a few things that we did like shawn was very reaponsive and helpful. And bernoid the driver was available at call and took us were we wanted.

Excellent stay
Shawn is hands down the best host we've ever had for a vacation rental. The beach is across the street. The pool is outside your door. A truly wonderful stay!

Great house and perfect location with amazing views. The house had plenty of room for our party of 11. The ocean is across the street and provides a nice snorkeling and exploring opportunity (we found shells, fish, conch, a star fish and a lot of sea urchins). The saltwater pool is located next to the house and was very clean. The grocery store is about 3/4 of a mile away and easy to get to during your stay.
Shawn was an amazing host and provided everything we needed including kitchen supplies (dishes, pots, pans, utensils), grills and WiFi. He met us at the house and helped us navigate our trip. He had beach chairs, a paddle board + kayak & even set out some pool toys/goggles for us to use during our stay.
Unrelated to this house ... Be aware, taxi rides are expensive!!

Shawn was an ideal 360 property owner. From day one he was so accommodating. Anything that was asked of him was approve with kindness. I have to admit we did ask a lot. little issues kept appearing from our group of 15. He did not hesitate to find solutions immediately. We are already planning our next trip to the Bahamas and we know where we will be staying. thank you shawn for magnificent hospitality that was given God bless you and yours

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shawn's beautiful house Seabreeze in the Bahamas. Even though it was only two of us, there was PLENTY of room for our whole family had we decided. We were close to everything yet off the main downtown strip. The views were amazing and the house is aptly named. Shawn was a great host with lots of helpful information on beaches, local must-sees and even gave us a fantastic recommendation for a restaurant to eat at for my birthday! Cafe' Matisse is a MUST for anyone coming here. Thanks for everything.

Our stay at the Seabreeze Beach House was absolutely beautiful! We loved being so close to the beach and the breeze was truly awesome. The property was pretty close to Atlantis, where there are several attractions, but The Dig was breathtaking! Another memorable moment was our visit to Clifton National Park---an absolute MUST! It was my first visit to the Bahamas, but not my last! In true Bahamian fashion, Shawn was very welcoming and maintained a beautiful, safe home. It was a pleasure meeting him and I look forward to returning!

Our group of 7 women thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shawn's home. We were greeted daily by a breathtaking sunrise and lulled to sleep by a magnificent moon. The home has a feeling of peace and tranquility. We had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for each of us to have a private corner.
David greeted us exuberantly at the airport and Shawn was available to address our every need. We even met (and adored) Tiga, our driver for the weekend. The Bahamas is a lovely collection of islands with beautiful people who actually say hello as they take their morning stroll by the beach. We loved our stay and will surely return. Thanks again, Shawn! Don't forget about us when you install the pool!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Seabreeze. My family (2 adults - 3 kids 5/10/15) had enough space and felt really at home there. Next time we will for sure stay longer - 3 days were not enough.
Shawn was very nice and helpful, everything was as promised.
What really surprised us, was the beach across the street - literally 100m from the house. Very nice partly sand and also nice little reefs, which my kids and me enjoyed snorkeling. The water there is shallow and we felt very safe and saw a lot of nice fish.
Barbecue, washer, dryer, fridge - overall kitchen was great, also internet worked fine.
Congrats Shawn - we will definetly come back, really enjoyed the bahamas.

I have been staying in the Bahamas on various islands for 20 years. I have always enjoyed attentive and responsive owners like Shawn. His communication prior to arrival was great, he was at the house when we arrived, he checked in by phone mid-stay, and he saw us off when we were left. We were two older couples, and there was plenty of room and privacy for everyone.
We rented a car and explored. At the end of our touristy days, this quiet home was the ideal place to rest. You can have a late afternoon dinner with the doors open to the ocean, or have a stiff cocktail on the master balcony. You can drive the north coast road to busy and congested Nassau, or you can head up Prince Charles (literally just around the corner) and quickly cut through the middle of the island to get to Stuart’s Cove for the mini-subs or the airport when you leave.
I read a March 2014 review that completely contrasted with other March reviews, so bear that in mind. Some people are whiney complainers about everything. Who snoops in private garages on vacation? Why chooses a three story home with 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms for a 70 year old? What parent has a child sleeping in her room, unless it’s a husband avoidance strategy (he probably paid for the trip and didn’t get what he expected either).
During our stay in late April the A/C worked fine, but we opened the windows and let in the fresh ocean air. The night lighting comes on to provide safety at the road and gates, as well as for late night strollers along the water’s edge. This is a neighborhood where people live and work, not an all-inclusive luxury beach resort.
And if you get up with the gorgeous morning sun as it rises over the ocean horizon, you can see the local walkers, runners, and bicyclists starting their day. The beds were fine, and for water wasters who want a hundred pounds of blasting water pressure during a 40 minute shower, get over it. I had no problem shampooing and rinsing in the master bedroom, or filling up pots for cooking in the kitchen, or running the dishwasher, or running the washing machine.
Every rental home could use a sharpening stone, but I usually pack one for vacation because you never know, just like packing a wine bottle opener. If we had any sort of a problem, I am POSITIVE Shawn would have resolved it promptly. An experienced traveler and vacationer understands these things.
I would rent here again. Thank you, Shawn, for your hospitality.

Worderful relaxing and family friendly
Excellent property, as pictured. The house is very big, clean with all the necessary amenities should you choose to cook meals there, with even a BBQ to spare. We bought fish at the nearest market and had a feast cooking it on the BBQ :0)
The beach in front of the house is not for those looking for a place to relax all day on a chair or towel but it was absolutely perfect for us as we could go every afternoon with the kids after their naps to play in the sand and get our feet wet at low tide.
Might be considered by some too far away from the touristy part of Nassau, but it was perfect for us. A car necessary, and with it you can come and go as you please to all parts of the island. We drove every day to different beaches, the zoo, downtown Nassau and found the house perfect for our needs. And to reiterat what every one says: Shawn is extremely nice and available if something should arise. Thank you Shawn for a great vacation with our kids! Olivier still talks about you and your house !!

Very disappointing.....could be so much nicer.
Let me start by saying that I've owned a vacation rental for 4 yrs and I have no idea how this property has received so many positive reviews. 2 of the people in our group said they would have given the house only 1 star. We rented this home for my Father In Laws 70th birthday. The house itself is beautiful and the little beach across the street is great for small children but that's about it. Most of us didn't sleep for a week and ached all over due to the HORRIBLE beds. We actually rented a hotel room for a few nights in the middle of our stay just so we could sleep. The bed in the master is broken literally and is very badly caving in. The 2nd bed on the middle floor is so lumpy you cannot get comfortable and it is a queen, not a king as advertised. The front of the property has about 8 large globe lights that stay on all night. According to the owner these are hooked to the city power and cannot be turned off. This makes the master bedroom light up like daylight all night. If you have any sensitivity to sleeping where there is a lot of light, this is not the place for you. The master bedroom has a beautiful view but we could not enjoy it as we had to collect every blanket in the house to cover the windows. My child was confused as to whether it was day or night. She would literally wake up in the middle of the night and think it was time to get up. I understand if the owner cannot turn these off but then the windows should be properly covered from ceiling to floor with room darkening curtains. There are 3 A/C units in the house, one for each floor. The unit that is supposed to cool the 2nd floor where the two bedrooms are, does not work. The only way to cool these rooms is to leave the doors open and use the portable fan to suck in the cold air coming from the other two levels - miserable! Don't plan on cooking anything that needs to be cut because there are 3 knives in the house and not one is sharp. Want to grill a steak? You will be sharing one really bad steak knife. There are also very limited glasses so buy some plastic ones. The water pressure in the house is pretty much non existent. There is an unlocked garage that is full of rusty paint cans, medical grade oxygen bottles and some horrible smelling chemicals. This is a safety hazard for anyone especially if you have kids. The patio chairs are literally collapsing. This house has real potential to be a wonderful vacation rental but needs some serious work.

Great House. Great Time.
This was a beautiful house with plenty of room for the large family that we had staying there. Shawn, the owner, was very accommodating, and helpful in many ways. The beach across the street was safe for the young children to play in, and we spent a lot of time in the cool, clear water. It was quiet at night, and very peaceful. If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is it.

Most beautiful beach house in the Bahamas
We were very impressed by this property. It lies directly
in front of the beach, which gives you a sense of peace
and serenity. I wish we could have stayed there FOREVER! IT was a wonderful home away from home.
Shaun did a great job on the interior decor, very relaxing
colors, great kitchen, and the grocery store was only about a 10 minute walk. I would definitely return some day, and highly recommend Seabreeze to my friends.

Great Spot!
We loved staying in the Seabreeze Beach House and had a great time on Nassau and Paradise Islands. The home was great for our group of 7. The beds were comfortable and the space was great. We used the loft for 2 couples and they had a lot of room. The distance from downtown is not a problem at all. In the morning there can be some traffic, but if you plan your time right it is not a deterrent. We were right across the street from a lovely beach where we could search for shells when the tide was out and swim when the tide was in. The water in the house is salt water but we were given fresh water for cooking and drinking. The owner, Shaun was helpful and friendly.

Beautiful house, great location
My family and I just returned from a week's stay at SeaBreeze. With 5 teenagers, finding a place that's comfortable for everyone can be a challenge, but Seabreeze was a definite hit. The house is exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable. Shawn was friendly and helpful and our entire stay was wonderful.

Fantastic Home!!
This house is wonderful, and Shawn is a great guy! We were worried a little before arriving, but upon arrival we were very pleased with everything. We held our wedding on the front steps, and the house was a wonderful back drop for the wedding photos. We decorated the columns with island colors, and it looked beautiful. The bus route comes by the house, so getting around the island is easy and cheap. 1.25 per person. The sunrises are awesome, and the water is wonderful. A nice place to snorkel on the beach with many little tropical fish. We grilled almost nightly, and we purchase fresh fish and lobster right on the beach. Delicious!!!! We sent Shawn some wedding photos.....great home for staging a wedding.
Alex and Buddy.....Married 10/12/2012 520 years to the date when Columbus arrived.....Too cool for school!
Thanks Shawn!!!

Quiet place to relax and enjoy
This townhouse was in a peaceful residential area away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown. The ocean views are incredible and having a sidewalk to enjoy walking each morning was an added bonus. There were two families and we had plenty of room. Sean was very accommodating and so helpful from telling us some great restaurants to eat at as well as activities to enjoy. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back again.

Our first vacation rental experience...was great!
Like the title says, this was our first vacation rental experience and I want to thank Shawn(!) for making it a trip my kids and I will always remember! I have to admit that I was initially a little worried about the process but I can assure you that this property is a great value and Shawn will do everything that he can to make your trip as pleasant. The property is clean, well maintained and exactly as it appears in the photos. I was a single dad traveling with three kids so this house gave us exactly what we were looking for (namely beds for everyone, a kitchen, proximity to the water, and Dominoes and Wendy's a short drive away... after all, it's vacation and who wants to cook every night?). Some other general thoughts:
- This property is not located in a part of New Providence that is known for tourism. So if you are looking for resorts and amenities, you should be aware that you are a 15 min drive away from downtown, Paradise Island, Atlantis, etc. For us this was a plus.
- I'd recommend that you rent a car. Shawn can recommend drivers, if you prefer (we used both Dave and Steve and they were great!). But it's just much easier to have your own transportation. Even though they drive on the wrong side of the road down there, it's very easy to get the hang of. Wendy's, Dominoes and the grocery are just far enough away that a car makes it more convenient. (all are located on Prince Charles Dr). It's also easy to navigate the island although traffic can be bad at peak times.
- The beach across the street is very good. This isn't a resort beach so don't expect it to be raked and pristine. But the water is shallow for several hundred meters in all directions (at low tide) and the snorkeling is very good (perfect for first timers). We found lots of starfish, saw fish of all varieties and even saw a couple stingrays (one was quite large!). We even saw a small nurse shark sleeping in the rocks to the southeast of the house. I highly recommend you bring your own snorkel gear and that you have swim shoes as the local beaches can be rocky. The beach is popular with the locals. Everyone was very friendly and engaging
- Shawn can recommend a number of activities... planning ahead is key as many of the activities are booked up weeks in advance by the visiting cruise ships. (BTW, if you are going to visit Atlantis, I recommend booking a room at the Comfort Suites. It gives you full access to Atlantis at a fraction of the cost of day passes)

A comfortable, spacious refuge a drive away from Paradise Island
This relatively new property was clean and well maintained. Waking up to a view from the main bedroom window of the sun rising over the sea was a special treat. The owner was forthcoming, helpful and easily contactable. The listing description and photos are accurate. To enjoy this property it would be better to have your own transport, although one needs to be aware that the traffic in the centre of Nassau is tricky and time consuming considering tha tone is on a island. The property is ideally located for day trips to Paradise Island ( Atlantis) which we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. The diving is also good. One needs to be aware that downtown Nassau is very tourist orientated and caters mainly for all the cruise ships that dock daily. Parking is scarce but taxis are good to and from town to Paradise Island. Yes, we would recommend this property to friends and relatives looking for value-for- money accomodation for 6-8 people - all beds are double beds!

Great place to stay
Shawn was great to work with! We were skeptical at first but no need to be. The town house was modern and clean just as in the pictures. We did not realize that there was a fairly busy road between the town house and the beach but it wasn't to bad. We got to see a beautiful sunrize each morning. We had Steve as our personal taxi for the week. He was awesome. This was well worth it because it takes longer to navigate around the island than one might think, it's busy at times and most speed limits are only 25 or 30 mph. Bring plenty of cash for this reason, the taxis do not take credit cards. All in all a great island and a great place to stay.

Our Nassau Vacation
We arrived at the property to find it almost exactly the same as what we thought we were renting. It's a split design containing two nice and comfortable units. Shawn was very prompt and helpful with our plans even before we arrived in Nassau. Our neighbors (east unit) were using a private taxi but we felt more independent as we had rented a van for our group of 6 adults and an infant. The property has spectacular views and I would highly recommend that you go into the water in front of the property, it is shallow, you can walk for 100's of feet and still be in waist deep water. Grocery stores are 5 minutes away on Prince Charles and it is only 15 minutes from Pradise Island or downtown Nassau.
The views are so good from the property that you will usually find cars parked across the road during the day to take in the view. Initially my daugters didn't like this but later on they accepted it. Water pressure from the city supply is sometimes slow in late morning early afternoon which makes taking a shower interesting but other than that you will enjoy the clean and spacious bathrooms.
Overall, I would give very high marks to Shawn and his property. And if we were to go back to Nassau we will certainly consider staying at the same place. I have no issues in recommending it to others.
