Large house, great location, everything you need.

We had a great time, location was perfect, accomodation was great for our family and for the teens. Highly recommend

I booked this place for a short family getaway. Unfortunately, there was severe rain and flooding in and around the area on the weekend I had selected. A week out from my stay, I contacted the property manager to express my concerns about the weather and see if we were able to change the dates. I was very disappointed when I was met with great resistance and indifference to my request. The property manager informed me that there was a 14-day change of date policy in place for this property and because my stay was less than two weeks away, my date change request would not be approved. The lady assured me this was displayed on the stayz website, and it was my fault for not reading their policies before making the booking. However, When I made the booking on the Stayz website, there was no mention of a 14-day change of date policy, nor did it mention that LJ Hooker managed the property. Despite this 14 day policy, I struggled to see why they could not change my date. There were many severe weather warnings in place at the time, I felt it was unsafe for myself and my family to travel in such weather, I had already paid for the trip in full plus a bond, and the flooding was so bad even they had to close their office during the time. Finally, after much back and forth, the owner agreed to push our trip back by one week so we could see if the weather cleared up. One week on, the weather reports were still not clear, and a number of warnings remained in place. As I am not from the area and didn't know what I would be driving into, I kindly asked the property manager if we could change the dates again. However, our request was rejected. Whilst I understand there was a policy in place, no one could have predicted how extreme the weather would be on that weekend. It was out of my control, and I would have liked to have been met with a little more understanding and compassion as I was concerned about the safety of my family. To summarise our stay: •The unempathetic management aside, the overall location of the property was nice. •The property was spacey and in decent condition. •The cue stick tips for the pool table were all damaged, missing or fallen off. We ended up buying super glue and glueing some back on. •The grass was close to knee-high. It had been unkept more than likely due to the severe rain and flooding. •We were surprised and unsettled by the amount of CCTV cameras around the house and balcony area.

We had a amazing Easter long weekend. The house was extremely accommodating to our family. Kids loved the pool table and the short walk across the road to go fishing. Perfect spot for a getaway for the family and look forward to staying here again shortly.

This is a very large, comfortable property that had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. Well fitted out, 3 bathrooms (2 very new), comfy beds and pillows, pool table, air conditioned, stacks of parking, close to water. There is so much room you would never be on top of each other. Short walk to bowling club.
