Bright, spacious house with a convenient lay-out. There are two living areas that are separated by a door so adults can stay up while children sleep in peace. Kitchen is well equipped. We had an issue with one of the toilets, which was fixed promptly. Great communication with property management. The lovely beach is within walking distance, and its calm waters are ideal for small children. Shopping is just a short drive from the property, so is the marina. We had a very nice stay at the Hamptons and would like to return next year.

Reviewer Comments: The property was in a great location and was well maintained and clean.Our only concern was the sprinkler system which came on at 6am, woke us up, and soaked the washing which we had hung out to dry overnight. A warning note would have been appreciated!The only other negative was the Rental Agreement itself which we all found a little bureaucratic, and appeared to be written from the point of view that tenants are irresponsible. Two areas stood out1) No noise or activity outside after 10pm. This is ridiculously early, 10pm is not late! 2) No-one allowed on the property aside from those named in the agreement. This is draconian. We felt obliged to contact Stay Port Stephens about a friend dropping by for a coffee and were advised there was no problem, however to have a restriction such as this written into a rental agreement is completely over the top.

Reviewer Comments: At the beginning of the stay we did not receive the code for the door. It was told that it would be delivered my text at check in time. Needing to call the after hours service, it took a while to get the code delivered The house was lovely and in a great location. It was cleaned and ready for new guests. However, we were unable to use the oven as it was not working. A bit of a shame. Our stay was interrupted by phone calls due to servicing needing to be action on a noisy air conditioner (as made through a complaint by the neighbours). In the middle of our stay we had that serviced. Thinking that it could’ve waited 24 hours till all guest had left.

Loved the Hampton House and found lots to do at Nelson Bay.

A very neat ..clean..and well eqiped house ..very spacious....in an excellent location near awesome beaches..comfy bedding ...with clean linen etc..all my family loved the stay and were very pleased with everything. Just a little confusion with the coding of the entrance lock which was resolved after a phone call otherwise all good..The kitchen had all necessary cutlery with nice dining area..overall our stay was very comfortable and full of fun...will definetly stay again..cheers

Only a short stroll to Dutchie's Beach which is a stunning location for swimming, snorkelling and fishing. Accommodation just as described, extremely comfortable and inviting.Successful fishing outcomes, visits to The Koala Sanctuary and whale watching at Boat Harbour were fabulous, as was lunch with amazing views from the cafe at the Marine Rescue at Nelson Head Lighthouse Reserve. I would definitely recommend The Hamptons Beach House and will certainly return again.

Reviewer Comments: Fabulous location very easy walk to Dutchies beach.Great layout which includes garage and easy access through to living room.Most amenities are available, however bbq and some door knobs and other facilities need either fixing or replacing. The clothes line definitely needs replacing and oven temperatures have worn off stove.The property was clean overall, but we felt had declined since our last visit.The manager was helpful when I called regarding some problems, however as we were paying a premium price, we were very disappointed they had not been attended to prior to our visit.

It’s very close to a lot of activities like the beach, cafes, quad biking, camel rides and other restaurants. It’s very cute for game nights and dinners. The rooms were very spacious as well. Bathrooms were very spacious and hot water system was soo good however I do recommend in stocking up on toilet paper before going if it’s there’s a few of you)

We had a great stay here with a group of 7. Plenty of space with everything you need to be comfortable. Close to pathways, beach and short drive or walking distance to shops. Small aircon issue promptly dealt with. Some other maintenance information passed on.
