The property was better than we expected and close to OC and Rehoboth. Loved the views from all sides of the house. Will definitely be visiting this one again!

My group of adult friends have been going to the Delaware beaches every year for 20 years. There was consensus this was our favorite rental. Beautiful home. Gorgeous views, spacious, numerous places to come together as a group and play board games or sit for a quiet chat. The kitchen has all the tools you need and a great island to gather around. The host, Pam, was so helpful. The location is ideal for walking to the beach or cozying up with a good book and view of the water. Five stars.

We were extremely happy with the house itself, the size, neighborhood, and overall location. It was well situated for neighborhood walks, easy access to a quiet beach, and super close to all the beach amenities you would want (boardwalks, restaurants, etc.). We had a wonderful week in this absolutely beautiful home. Pam is a fantastic host! This is our second time at Pam's "Hasssell-free" beach house and I sincerely hope to be back next year.

This was a beautiful home. It was the best equipped kitchen in any rental I have ever seen. There are plenty of supplies for fun activities- puzzles, games, books, bicycles, croquet, etc. The owners are welcoming and responsive. I would highly recommend this rental.

"Hassel" Free was the perfect beach house for our stay! We enjoyed the bay-side neighborhood, fenced-in yard for our dog, outdoor shower, various seating areas, games, general accommodations, and walking to the beach. This house is very well-equipped with anything you could need, which made for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the natural light and bay views. With plenty of bedrooms and living space, we look forward to returning with more family and friends in the future!

We booked this amazing home and even before the trip we loved all the pictures. But I must say the pictures do not give it justice. This home has so many spots to enjoy time together all with great views. You can tell an amazing loving family owns this home. The home owners where nothing but amazing and sweet. The shed was full of bikes and beach items. The home was so well organized. And the outside shower was magical! I highly recommend this home. I hope to rent again in the near future.

Property was clean and very well stocked. It was like staying at a family member's home. Sitting room had plenty of windows which took advantage of the beautiful water views.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time away from a crazy work, school & sports schedule. Exactly what we all needed to recharge. This home was absolutely beautiful, no detail was overlooked! As much as I enjoyed my previous stay here in May I just might have enjoyed this 2nd stay over Thanksgiving even more! Altho I did not host Thanksgiving, I did have family over for brunch the morning after. With multiple sitting areas, large dining table and seriously well equipped kitchen this house begs for entertaining! The lovely fenced yard and light filled living room makes the house a winner in my dog’s eyes as well. Pam is a joy to work with and very responsive.

We booked this home for a weekend retreat. Our intention was to have space to lay out our yoga mats, enjoy each other’s company, and dine together. It was also important that we had space for ali d time as well. This property did not disappoint! There is so much space! I can’t say enough about how great this property is. All of our guests raved about how cozy and comfy the beds were. The home is well-maintained and cared for. The decor is impeccable, every I dotted and T crossed. We couldn’t get over all the beautiful lamps! Every single room had great lamps! We also appreciated not having to bring linens or towels, as well as all the lush provisions provided “just in case.” Pam is a wonderful “host” and great communicator. Thank you for a truly lovely experience!

We had a great family vacation at ‘hassle free.’ It was awesome renting a home that had everything we needed! It truly was hassle free. The beach is a little further however the beautiful views of the canals were an added bonus. We’d be lucky to stay here again! We’d definitely recommend it.

This place is close enough to the beach to be able to bike and has beautiful views on the bay. Pam was wonderful to work with and we will definitely be staying here again next year!!

Everything about this home rental was awesome! From coordinating with Pam, who is flexible, quick to respond and so kind! To the meticulous nature of the home, which is even more appreciated due to Covid. The home was clean and organized. The beach is a bit of a hike, but we brought bikes and also had access to several bikes at the house. We drove to the beach, dropped off a few things and then rode bikes back. It was perfect!! HIGHLY recommend, and we are looking forward to staying here with our family again!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bethany Beach! It was the first time for us . The weather was great and the house was big enough so that we(all 8 of us) could do our own thing, read, puzzles, listen to music, watch t.v. just chill. I hope to come back with our family and explore some of the surrounding areas we weren’t able to see. One week is not enough!

What an amazing beach house! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in south Bethany with everything you need for a great week. We had 6 adults, 4 young kids and a dog and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the fenced in yard, the inviting living spaces, and all the necessities that were there! Great for large groups. The beach was a quick drive to the front of the neighborhood then you do have to cross the road, and walk up the sand dunes. If not, you can drive into town and pay to park for the beach up there! Super close to everything and the views of the canals were calming and peaceful. Highly recommend!! This property and experience at the “Hassell-free” beach house was everything we’d hoped for. After one of the hardest years of our families’ lives (pediatric cancer of one of our grandkids) we were looking for an affordable house that didn’t sacrifice in the awe of vacation beach houses and was as low stress as possible so we could truly enjoy our much needed time together and to feel “normal” again. Pam was such a wonderful property manager and host and made sure we had any info we needed prior to and during our stay. This house was fully stocked with so many toiletries, kitchen supplies, bikes, and beach supplies. It fit our family comfortably and was helpful to have first floor rooms with ease in getting in and out of the house for one of our family members that recently had a knee replacement. We had the kids fishing across the street and caught some crabs in the crab pots at the house. Daily beautiful bike rides and our grandson learning to ride in front of the house were definite highlights! The beach was private, calm, and we had it to ourselves most days. Our stay at the Hassell Free Beach House was truly hassle free and relaxing. the owners were responsive both prior to and during our visit, answering questions as they arose. Bayview is a quiet, friendly neighborhood and our dog loved the fenced yard. highly recommend this house for a vacation to unplug and recharge.

My family (6 adults and 1child) spent 5 days at Hassel Free Beach House. It was easy to find, close to a quiet beach within walking distance and very clean and comfortable. Lovely property; friendly, quiet neighborhood with nice views. We had plenty of room and the property has beach chairs and umbrellas and plenty of other items for use during your stay which was much appreciated. Owner communication was excellent but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend this rental property. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful house & fantastic owners! Our family stayed at “Hassell Free” for a week and had an amazing time. The home was clean, accurately described and in a great quiet neighborhood. Beach access is a short walk or drive away! The beach in walking distance is quiet and not crowded...perfect for social distancing! The owners were great at communicating and extended our stay due to some bad weather. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! Loved the large dining table for game nights, and the ability to hang out in the living room, loft or the beautiful fire place room. Had a cute yard out front to play cornhole! Close to EVERYTHING! Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second year staying at the house. It is well kept and have tons of beach gear which makes it so convenient for a great weekend. Love all the personal touches in the house. We will be back!
