Location

Didn’t have a remote to the tv but we managed. And of course that was no big deal!!!!! Rose was excellent!!!!

The hotel was in a decent location where there was dinner and breakfast locations within walking distance. The room did have a small decent balcony to sit on in the evenings and watch the sunset over the canal but (out if the hotels control) the canal was overrun with a green algae mess. The pool was nice and clean and the front staff were extremely friendly when checking in and out and gave us a lot of information that was appreciated about places in the area.

Unfortunately the beds were very squeaky evergtime you moved to roll over and the water took a long time to get hot for a shower. The first two nights we stayed, it only got luke warm, but the two days after that it got nice and hot. The hallway was very humid and a few hallway lights were out but nothing too major.

In the picture on the website, it looked like the place was literally on the beach! But one block away is not a big deal!

The location and staff were wonderful. The hotel was an older hotel with older towels, sheets and decor but very clean and we loved the balcony and pool overlooking the bay canal pool was excellent and sitting was new out there and comfortable. Restaurants easy to get to

I had put in a request to have our room cleaned and it never happened. So I had to go get my own towels, take out my own trash, tidy up and wipe things down a bit -for we stayed a whole week

.Staff are so super nice and go out of their way to help with anything. The hotel is close to and within walking distance to everything you need! This was my second time there and I will be going back!
