This was a spectacular place to stay. I traveled with 4 of my friends to celebrate my birthday and I was not disappointed. You are centrally located to everything. The views are to die for and the apartment was magnificent. The owner and the staff were top notch. If you wanted to cook, you had everything that you needed to prepare a great meal. I had the chance to see more of Rio on this trip beyond the beach and was amazed by all that it had to offer. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to my next trip. The condo is in the perfect location if you want to be at the beach! We stayed for the World Cup and Hugo's place was right in front of the fanfest and all of the other festivities. Below the condo is a bar/restaurant called Mabs, it was very convenient and served cold beer/traditional food; if you want other types of food it's all just a block or two walk away. The soccer stadium can be reached via the subway and is just a few blocks walk behind the condo. Hugo was extremely helpful before and during our trip, he was always available by phone, text, and email. On one day we had a problem with one of the toilets (8 people in our group) and Hugo had a plumber there the same day. He even drove down from Jersey to meet us for lunch in NYC before our trip--it was a real pleasure to meet him. There was daily maid service that kept the place pretty clean. There is also a doorman 24/7 at the condo that will let you in and give you some tour advice if need be. I would not hesitate to recommend Hugo and his place in Rio--he goes the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable. I can honestly say that he wants you to have a great and care free experience. We had a wonderful trip, thank you Hugo!

We stayed at the condo during the group stages of the World Cup. We couldn't have found a better location. The proximity to the beach and to all amenities is perfect. Grocery stores, fruit stands, bakery, cafe's, pubs and the subway (metro) are all within walking distance. The view is spectacular and has unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. The pictures and description of the interior are very accurate. The place is clean, spacious and very comfortable. We had a group of 12 stay there for 10 nights and didn't feel cramped at all! Hugo was fabulous throughout the entire process. He was kind and genuine and extremely helpful. All of his recommendations were accurate and we truly appreciated his input.
