It worked out perfectly for me and one friend to have plenty of space. Very safe community and just a few minute walk to plenty of shopping and restaurants live music. We had a great time.

This home was refreshingly just as it was described. It’s location cannot be beat and check-in was super easy.

We really enjoyed this home and neighborhood. Close enough to everything but far enough removed to still be quiet. Home was clean and enough space for us both. We spent time outside in the yard which was peaceful.

This comfortable home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, but still within walking distance to great food and some shopping. Use a scooter to easily get downtown. Nice and clean too! I’d stay there again.

This house lived up to all the five star reviews. It was the right size for my (adult) nephew, my dog & I. Very welcoming with lights and heat already on for a cloudy January afternoon with the internet radio playing which set the tone for our visit. Beds are very comfortable & kitchen is well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised to find the yard fully fenced so my dog could sniff around off leash. The nearby green belt between little and big Stacey parks was a nice spot to walk her. South Congress was an easy walk out on Annie Ave with an excellent BBQ truck right on that corner, a great donut shop a block further in one direction and The Continental Club in the other. My Nephew saw an amazing smooth jazz show there which he was inspired to try because of the internet radio selection at check in. Never expected he would fall in love with Jazz in Austin! I stayed in snuggling with my dog catching up my social and email while watching Netflix all via the fastest internet ever seen at a rental Our two day time out during a cross country road trip was very welcome. The ability to wash clothes and cook a real meal had us rested & ready to face the remaining miles If I ever get back to Austin this place would definitely be my landing spot again!

Our stay in Austin was unexpected and sudden as we evacuated New Orleans due to Hurricane Ida. Red House was the perfect place as a home-away-from home. Dani and Joseph have gone to great lengths to make the property comfortable, welcoming and equipped with all the amenities you will need in a whole house rental. The beds were so comfortable and nicely appointed with linen duvets and sheets. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious and the entire home is stylish and very clean. The backyard was just the right size for my small dog and it was refreshing to have the space to sit outside in the mild Austin evenings. We loved the neighborhood and its eclectic vibe and it is perfectly located within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Dani is a gracious and considerate host. She went out of her way to facilitate an extra day of rental for us and was very easy to reach and quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had. That is often difficult to find in a short-term rental situation and we were grateful for her consideration and hospitality. This was a top notch property and Dani and Jospeh were exceptional hosts. Highly recommend them and Red House and would stay again in a minute!!

We're in town visiting friends and family and this location was perfect for a low key getaway. It is within walking distance of the South Congress area with plenty of options for food and drinks. The house is cute, comfortable, and has anything you need to feel at home. We look forward to visiting again!

This was a family trip with 2 adults and two kiddos, ages 14 and 8. This house was cute and perfect, only a couple of blocks from plenty of shops and eateries. Would stay again! :)

We stayed at the cottage with our 2 kids during Memorial Day weekend. The property was well kept, clean and very convenient to SoCo restaurants and night life (while still providing the quiet reprieve of the neighborhood). The upstairs loft was a cool touch that the kids loved exploring and hanging out up there. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with necessities. We had a great stay and would come back again!

This home is in such a great location! Was perfect for two friends both working from home for the week. Walking distance to so many restaurants and we really enjoyed the trail around Lady Bird Lake. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect home away from home. I came to Austin to visit family but stayed in the house by myself. It really does have absolutely everything you need and is clean, comfortable, and feels like home. My son and his girlfriend came over and we made this bungalow our home base to walk Towne Lake, stroll South Congress for shopping and dining, and visit the Congress Street bridge. I never pulled my car out of the driveway until the day I left. The bed was extremely comfortable and the back patio was where we sat in between excursions. The weather was perfect and it is a very quiet neighborhood. The only suggestion I could possibly make is that a short person could use a step stool to reach the top shelves and curtain pulls! Worth every penny and we will come back!

We loved the house - just the right size for our family of 4 and dog. Owners provided lots of helpful info about the neighborhood and helped make our stay even better. Location (just 2,5 blocks from South Congress) was perfect! Will be our favorite place to stay in Austin from now on.

We came here for a quick trip to visit family and this place was the perfect place to stay. Convenient to so many great restaurants. Cozy house with so much character. Looking forward to staying again!

We had a great week in Austin and the Red House was the perfect location and so comfortable. Everything we needed to feel like real locals and enjoyed the near by parks and neighborhood to walk and exercise. Will look into renting it again next visit!

The Red House was perfect for us in every way. We we there with another couple for ACL, and the weekend was magical. Dani could not have been nicer or more accommodating, even letting us drop our bags at the house earlier than the specified time. The location is also amazing. We will be back!

We had an awesome time celebrating my sister’s bachelorette weekend in Austin! This property couldn’t have been in a better location for us!! We loved being able to walk to SOCO to easily access all the restaurants and shops and it was a quick UBER ride from the house to the downtown area. It was also a very easy, 15 minute drive from the airport to the house. The house was clean, cute and for the most part, comfortable. The only complaint we had was that the loft was not as comfortable or as accessible as we thought it would be from the pictures. It got really hot up there and it was kind of scary coming down the ladder. The owner was easy to contact and I greatly appreciated them letting us drop off our luggage before the official check-in time. All in all, it was a great rental experience.

We stayed 2 nights. The house is so well thoughtfully stocked with items you may need and it's spotlessly clean. Also they have put together a book on how to run everything in the house as well as interesting notes on Austin. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed getting to know Austin from this great location. We were able to walk and bike all over the city, renting city bikes just a short walk away. Fun shops and restaurants nearby as well. The bungalow was clean and inviting and we felt it was described accurately. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving here in Austin! It was easy to work with the owners, no issues, lovely spot.

The house is clean, comfortable, with everything you need. Lots of thoughtful touches to make your stay go smoothly. Great location, close to markets and cafes. Off-road parking. Walk-able into the city, or use public transport. It's a lovely quiet neighborhood, with parks nearby. It worked beautifully for us.

We came for one night to Austin, with 4 adults, and this was the perfect stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful in booking our stay and providing instructions. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. It's a "petite" house, so we hadn't planned on spending much time in the living areas, and its a short uber ride to Rainey Street and Downtown. There is a driveway to park cars, including 1 covered spot, which was very convenient. Plenty of street parking as well.

We had a really nice time. Lovely home, great location. The house is definitely a better fit for a younger group of people. The loft is cute and funky - but my brother almost tripped over the bar and it was pretty sketchy. The chairs aren't comfortable at all and there is only one little couch. We spent almost 5 days here - and it is really quaint. We needed more places to sit and relax away from the heat. I was traveling with my Mom who is 71 and my Dad who is 72. Super perfect if you aren't going to spend a lot of time inside. I would say, a little small for 4 adults. The hosts were amazing!
