We have rented many homes from VRBO, and I can honestly say that this one was the best overall experience we have ever had. The location simply cannot be beat. The house is Just a short walk to two beaches, located in a quaint little town with convenient shops and restaurants. The house itself is spacious and beautiful, even better than the pictures. The kitchen was the best stocked we have ever had. They had everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out. The outdoor area is truly special with an expansive patio comfortable furniture and a beautiful pool. What really sets the house apart is the view! Absolutely spectacular view of the sea, cliffs and beach. We absolutely loved this home and enjoyed every moment in Mallorca!

The location is great and convenient if you are in the West of the island. The house has everything you need and is well equipped, the pool has a decent size and the rooms are clean and spacious. Very recommendable. Patricia the house manager was very helpful and lovely to speak to.

The pictures and description of this villa are well done and quite attractive. But when our group arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the villa is bigger than we expected with so many additional amenities. The views are postcard perfect! The location is outstanding with just a 5 min walk to one beach and an 8 min walk to another beach. Both beaches have a bar / restaurant that serve food and drinks. Very affordable and convenient. Upon arrival the property manager, Patricia, met us and gave us a tour of the property and amenities. Patricia was very welcoming and kind. She checked up on us via text several times and when we could not reach a restaurant by phone that we wanted to visit, she made the reservation for us. We were two families, four adults and four children ages 13, 13, 15 and 17. This villa was perfect for our group. We are well seasoned travelers and also own vacation rentals in Florida, so we appreciate how clean and well prepared the villa was. We didn't do much cooking as the restaurants in the area were a convenient and quick walk, great quality and very reasonably priced. This part of the island is more rural and remote and didn't really feel like an area with a lot of parties which worked great for our group. I know other reviewers mentioned the noise from the bar across the bay, but we were never disturbed by any loud music or activity. Overall, we were very impressed and loved our stay. We wish it could have been for more than four nights. Only minor suggestions would be more pillows for the beds. Thanks for sharing your villa! This is a fantastic property in a beautiful location overlooking the sea. The rooms are large and comfortable, and great open plan living areas to enjoy lounging in! We loved the pool, although was a little chilly in October! There are a few restaurants nearby which we enjoyed trying out. Overall a great holiday, we loved it!

The colours of blue you can see from the patio will take your breath away - the sky, the pool and the varying colours of the ocean bay of Cala Mendia. The house is so beautiful and well equipped you won’t want to go anywhere else, and the management is perfect. The one tiny thing (that is completely out of the owners control) is that the hotel across the bay plays music and MC’s quite loudly in the evening. So dinner’s outside were accompanied by a variety of music and a lot of chatter on a microphone each night we were there. It is possible this could have been for the specific busy week we were there, so perhaps does not always happen. In any case, it didn’t put a damper on our week, but if you are looking for quiet evenings, you may want to check with the owners if that is still going on. Otherwise you won’t regret staying here! It’s just beautiful!

Absolutely stunning house. The beaches are beautiful and so lovely to have a choice of two within walking distance. Beautiful swimming pool and well equipped house. Noise from local hotel was the only disappointment

We had a fantastic time at the villa. The accommodation was excellent and the views from the terrace and pool area were superb. The deck chairs were possibly the most comfortable I have ever experienced. We also enjoyed the pool 'pillow' which was lovely to laze on. What really made this villa fantastic was the proximity to Cala Mendia beach. It was literally a one minute walk down an easy path from the garden gate. The sea swimming was excellent and we had lovely gentle waves on a few days. We tried three of the local restaurants: the two beach bars/restaurants near the house and Fifteen (only a short walk away if you cross Cala Anguilla beach). All were fine but we had a great meal at Fifteen where even the three vegetarians/vegans could find something interesting to eat! The villa was generously supplied with lots of dishes, spices, oils, etc. which made eating simple meals on the terrace very easy. The local bakery was good for buying fresh bread although we did most of our food shopping in Porto Christo. The supermarket there was more than adequate for buying food and drinks for easy meals. We had planned to eat at some of the restaurants in Porto Christo but chose instead to stay in Cala Mandia most nights so we didn't need to drive. Patricia, the property manager, was very responsive and resolved our very few issues within hours (the kettle did not work and she replaced it immediately). The pool and garden were cleaned every morning by a lovely man who arrived early and was so unobtrusive that you would not know he was there unless you were up early having a coffee on the terrace. The pool was kept spotless and the area around it was always swept clean. The town is a holiday town and you can hear the entertainment from some of the neighbouring hotels at certain times but it really did not affect the solitude of the villa. For me, perhaps the only negative about the location is that it is quite a long drive to Palma but apart from that it was the perfect location for a family holiday which suited all of us, aged from 16 to 78. Thanks Anne and Christoph for renting it to us and for your generosity. We enjoyed the bottle of champagne very much.

We did a lot of research before settling on this place at Cala Mendia. It looked great on the VRBO website and even better in person. Spectacular ocean view and very private. If we could give 6 stars, we would. It had everything we were looking for. Beach access (2 minute walk down easy path), ocean view (faces southeast), a pool, nice bedrooms for our teenagers, big enough to have space to yourself but common areas to hang out together. We spent a lot of time on the veranda just outside or on the pool level. The sound of the ocean was mesmerizing and relaxing. We have rented a lot of VRBO properties and often the keys to making it a memorable and super positive experience are the small details and how they owners help prepare the home for your arrival. Anne and Christoph were amazing at this. We had a fresh pineapple and dozens of fresh oranges waiting for us. There was also a nice bottle of wine. These small touches mean a lot. The home is immaculate and has everything to make you comfortable. We were on the back end of our trip and were able to do a few loads of laundry. For food and meals, you can walk to several grocery stores. One has very nice fresh bread in the morning. There are also several restaurants within walking distance. The Cala Mendia beach bar, Sa Cala Beach, and 15Teen are three of them. You can also walk into the little town for other options. We chose not to venture very far by car. Needed to get Euros at ATM in Porto Cristo. The ATM in Cala Mendia was not working. Porto Cristo has challenging parking and banks close at 2 PM. I was able to find an ATM but we did not eat there. We also thought of going to the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy (huge fans) but the weather was too nice to sacrifice a day going to Manacor. We hope to return and would choose this rental again in a heart beat. It was so worth it! We thank Anna and Christoph for an amazing family trip.

Wonderful view, great location. House is in great condition and well appointed. Highly recommend.
