We had a great time at the writers cottage!!

Everything was as advertised, close to campus, 5 stars

Didn’t get to spend very much time at the house, busy moving moving our daughter into the dorms. Awesome location and perfect for what we needed.

Everything was great. Enjoyed the cottage, its location, and the back yard.

What a great property. The host was wonderful. He left us a great sourdough loaf. He was very responsive if I had a question. Our family spent a weekend enjoying the Boise area. The house was great very clean and updated. One thing to note there are 3 bedrooms but only 2 actual beds the third room has a hide a bed couch. It was a wonderful weekend we would definitely stay here again.

This was such a cute house to stay at!! Some girl friends and I came up for a bachelorette party and it was in the perfect location. So close to downtown and all the other things we had planned to do. Super nice that there is a small shopping center literally around the corner. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed the super cute back yard. The beds we sooo comfortable. And the loaf of bread was a great gift for when we came back at night. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is in a perfect location which is close to Boise State, downtown and the airport. The house is very comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is great for cooking and the backyard is lovely! There is a grill and outdoor furniture to enjoy the outside. Our host, Leland, even welcomed us with a delicious loaf of bread. We were in town to visit our granddaughter and we’re just minutes from her apartment which made getting together so easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house was as advertised - cozy and plenty of room for two - always nice having your own room and bath. Kitchen is super well appointed as we did breakfasts and one dinner in. Bogus Basin is only a 59 min ride as is Caldwell where great wineri

My mother who was celebrating her 70th birthday, my daughter who attends BSU and I stayed here and loved it. It’s close to the college campus, it’s clean and such a cute house. We didn’t get to enjoy the backyard because it was a little to cold but can’t wait to book again when it warms up. Leland was a great host and always quick to get back to me when I had questions

This place is a perfect bungalow with comfortable beds, good bathrooms, and a great location. The property manager is phenomenal, and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Boise.

The House is small and cute, good for 4 people, beds are comfortable but the 3 room is a hide bed for maybe a small kid not comfortable for a adult, location is great with an Amazing backyard!

We went for a ballgame and this property was close to the airport and doable walk to the stadium to avoid parking. It was a very short walk to a nice restaurant and ice cream. Very nice neighbors.

Ad stated house would sleep 8 but there would be no way. We had 6 and it was super tight. Tried to BBQ some chicken for dinner one of the nights and neither BBQ out back worked. A couple of the windows wouldn't lock so didn't feel terribly safe. Nearly every pan we tried to use was dirty. AC couldn't keep up and the overall cleanliness of the house was poor. I don't usually write reviews but this place needs some work before it's truly ready.

PerfectThis house was perfect for our visit to Boise. It was minutes away from the Capitol and all the places we wanted to visit. It was lovely to return after dinner to a quiet neighborhood and comfy beds.

This place matches the online description to the tee. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Leland was very responsive and quick to help. Thanks!

We were a group of three - myself, my husband and a friend - at the end of a nearly 3 week trip combining camping, rafting, and other accommodations. This sweet cottage was a wonderful place for us - walkable to restaurants, quiet, well-equipped kitchen, comfy living area, and a terrific backyard where we spent alot of time. Leland was very responsive with communications and helpful info!

This home was exactly as described. Its location was convenient to all of Boise—the airport, the downtown and the freeway. It was also super quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Leland made things easy for check in and check out. We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect location to BSU while moving in students. Walking distance to Starbucks but not needed because of the available Keurig and coffee pods! The beds were super comfy! Much needed after long days of dorm move in. The back yard was also perfect for relaxing!

The property is so close to downtown and all the activities we wanted to get into during our stay. Lots of amenities very close by and a great home base for anything you have planned in Boise.

Nice decor. Dirty windows, inside and out. Dirty microwave, dirty mirror on back of bedroom door, not enough t.p, Dirty patio furniture, electrical outlet in master bedroom falling out of wall.

Location was perfect for what we were looking to do. Size was perfect for our four person family. Big yard, cute house, great host. We will be back for sure, highly recommend.

This house is an absolute delight. Clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Leland could not have been a better host. He went above and beyond to make our family welcome. We were in Boise for a memorial service and his kindness made all the difference.

This property served our purposes well. Held a luncheon in the back yard along with yard games. Then a wedding in the late afternoon. Just the right combination of lawn area and shaded space for comfort.

We had a wonderful stay at the Writer's Cottage! Its a charming home located on a quiet street only a few minutes from the airport and downtown Boise. The beds and linens were fabulous -- it felt like we were sleeping on beautiful, puffy cumulus clouds. The back yard is large with plenty of BBQ's and patio furniture. We highly recommend the Writer's Cottage and hope to stay there again!

Amazing house with plenty of room to spread out and everything we needed for our family of 6 adults and an infant. The kitchen was well equipped. The backyard was huge, with lots of grass and shady trees to relax, bbq, and play. One bedroom had a glider chair and plenty of room to set up a pack n play for the baby. One bathroom was off a bedroom and the other was spacious. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and comforters were incredibly soft! There is an amazing bbq restaurant (bbq 4 life) a short walk away as well as many other options. Our host, Leland, was so accommodating to our family’s needs and even met up with me after our stay to return the pillows we forgot. We would absolutely recommend this house on a quiet street and are looking forward to returning the next time we are in Boise. Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality, Leland!

House and location worked great for us. Water pressure in the shower was the only negative.

Have stayed several times and will try and stay again
