The 5 bedroom house with bedrooms on both sides and living areas in the middle provided room for several families in our group. Outdoor deck with umbrella and table was perfect for eating and relaxing. Lakeside dock area was relaxing. The beds could use a mattress upgrade, too soft for several of us. The house is roomy and dining areas accommodate a large group.

Nice stay although cleanliness not great as we found debris on floor in several places, had to replace several light bulbs; switches could be labeled so know what they control, some didn’t wirk (exterior and stairs to dock?).

We stayed at this home while attending a nearby wedding. It was roomy enough for the 10 family members. The house was clean and very comfortable. The view of the lake was great. Didn't make use of the outside area due to the weather in November. We would stay here again.

We had a great weekend with perfect weather in an amazing setting. The house was very comfortable and family-friendly and you can’t beat the location. We loved taking the little ones on the paddle boat and playing in the back yard in the fall leaves. The house was nice and spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and cozy gathering spaces in the living and dining rooms.

We chose this property for an end of summer long weekend with our family (group of 10). All of us thought the house looked even better than it did in the pictures! We made use of the kayaks, relaxed on the dock while enjoying the beautiful view, sat around the fire pit at night and played board games in the dining room. The house had everything we needed to make meals and was spacious and comfortable. The water was rocky so we would suggest water shoes if you plan on going in the water. Overall, it was a great weekend and we would recommend this property.

Great week on beautiful skaneateles lake. Must be some holes in the window screens, very buggy. All & all super location with the best views and access to the lake. Would stay again.

Perfect for family get together.

Beautiful home tucked away in the perfect location. The house is spread out nicely and plenty of open space indoors for a larger group for when the weather isn’t great. We enjoyed every part of it! It also has everything we needed. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed 5 days at the lake house. We hosted two parties with friends and family. We were concerned about parking (There is only two spaces at the lake house), but we did make it work with some parking up the hill. The house was very large. It was very hot that week so we appreciated the air conditioning in the master bedroom. The dock was wonderful. We could not rent a boat because the lake was too high, but we hope to next year. The only con was that I wish there was more utensils and bowls for entertaining. Thanks for a great time!

Large, waterfront lake house perfect for a long weekend at the lake. The location was great - close to town for dining and shopping. Watched beautiful sunsets from the lakefront and spent evenings around the fire pit. The house was comfortable for a group. Needs some updating but overall a good value. Would definitely stay again!

We had issues with the cleanliness of the property. There were clothing garments left behind from the previous renters (underwear and bathing suits) and there were live bugs in one of the bedrooms (including on the bed). The entire house needs an upgrade in general. Most of the water equipment was broken and the hammock was also broken. The place overall felt icky and quite dated. Also, there is no central AC. There is 2 window units in the house, but majority of the rooms do not have AC.

Our stay was confusing. Brian couldn’t be a nicer more text attentive property owner. He replied to every question and statement quickly. The real issues were in the condition of the home and how different it was from how it was described. During our stay the internet was out and had to be fixed (a power splitter in a guest bedroom was connected to a light switch that we were not alerted to so when the light was turned off the internet and cable did not work??). The owner was oblivious to this. The freezer was leaking water all trip and after alerting the owner to this alarming fact he suggested putting a towel under the door to sop up the puddles of water that accumulated every day. There was a leak under the sink that when the owner was alerted to this fact he seemed unfazed? The house was old and needed an overhaul. Almost every storage area in the home was filled with junk and unusable. The landscaping and roof had been neglected. Overall this property could be great but the owner’s lack of attention to detail and basic cleanliness was lacking. This rental was not worth the money we paid. We did enjoy our time because we made the best of it. Brian is a nice person but lacked in the property management department. I would avoid this property.

If you re a large family with baby & pet , you'll love the atmosphere here, very chill. A kind of " A family Stone " movie type place where everyone has a way to make their preferences happen.... run in Austin Park, dinner in the village , boating on the beautiful clear Skaneateles lake, fire pit time, ...nice to have extra parking for those coming up to visit for one day. Not a place if you want a Hilton experience with luxury spa treatment, We enjoyed our stay as it fit our desire ...

The house interior needed work and furniture and beds were pretty old; refrigerator leaked; toaster didn’t work; no instructions with TV’s so couldn’t get them to work. On the other hand it was a beautiful location and the lake was lovely.

Wow - what a great place! We were so happy that we could spend 2 days to prepare for a wedding at Lourdes Camp. Father of the bride caught fish, bridesmaids were able to get their hair done, and Mom was able to feel comfortable with the space! I can't wait to see the photos that were taken both in and outside on the lawn. It was so great to be so close without the worries! Highly recommend for others looking to find a family getaway for any occassion.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this picturesque lake front property. We had plenty of room for everyone, and were very comfortable.

House was very roomy and everyone had their own space. We had fun in the dining room paying games and have great time with friends. Brian was great and everything went smoothly.

Traveled with 4 generations of women. Home is great because everyone has their own space, yet excellent communal areas. The home is a bit outdated and the kitchen isn’t loaded with every tool you might need, but it all works and most importantly I felt the home was clean. It’s perfect for a lake house and for visiting the village of Skaneateles and watching beautiful sunsets. We loved our experience.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Very roomy, great fall views and has most amenities. Nice times out on the deck. There are a few things that need fixing but all in all a very good property for the dollars spent.

Spacious house to spread around with large yard , deck and a dock to relax right by the water. Staying up late around camp fire , beautiful sunset and fun water activity made our special family gathering all the more memorable. We had our own little recitals with piano which was a pleasant surprise. Keep that piano tuned ! We hope to come back next year.

The home was great! We rented the home to celebrate my wife and brother in law 50th birthday. We have extended family that lives in the area so it was a great location. Close to the town and the view was fabulous. Thank you for your home !!!

Our family had a wonderful few days at Skaneateles lake. The lake house was great – very spacious and well equipped with great Wi-Fi for a little work that had to be done - but thankfully on the deck with a view of the lake.. The swimming was great - a huge dock and crystal clear water. Wonderful!

We had a wonderful relaxing week. House Is large and well stocked with necessities. Everything was comfortable and clean. Two families stayed here with plenty of room.

We enjoyed the amount of space/bedrooms there were - there was good common space, but when we wanted to have a little ‘me’ time, there was plenty of space for that, too.
