Great place to stay with friends or family. Private, plenty of space indoors and out. Fully loaded kitchen! 2 hot tubs and plenty of water toys.

We stayed as a group of 10 (6A 4C) and pets. 10 was a cozy fit but we were able to make it work. The property is as described with all the necessities you need to survive, both outdoor activities as well as indoor (pots, pans, kitchenware). The dock was not operational when we got there after significant rain and high water levels, but having a launch on property was a lifesaver. Michael was a great host and handled everything, would absolutely book another stay here. Great first experience on VRBO.

My family chose this spot because there are 8 of us including one who couldn't do stairs or walk easily on uneven surfaces. And we have a large well-behaved dog we wanted to bring along. This place was amazing for everyone! With plenty of comfortable seating in the living areas, a large well-stocked kitchen (that's an understatement!), TWO working hot tubs, a gorgeous lakefront area, water toys and kayaks, a lovely outdoor firepit, and comfortable sleeping arrangements, we had a WONDERFUL week! The owner Micheal was attentive and very communicative during the entire process. And he welcomed us with a lovely gift basket of treats. So nice! We rent every year for a week at some lakefront and this was by far the BEST ever! Highly recommend this spot!!!

Absolutely perfect location for a boys trip/bachelor party! The host was present and available when needed and was there to greet us upon arrival. The main house and guest house provided enough room for everyone and the two hot tubs along with the lake were perfect. The actual centrepiece of the trip was the bumperpool table as that ended up occupying most of our time! Overall, great trip and great spot to book a stay, would recommend!

We were looking for a clean place to stay with things to do on site and this was really the place to stay. It was clean and great on site activities supplied by owner. Easy to get to see other family and to go to Canada and Vermont. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved this property! My group of family/friends/dogs all appreciated this vacation. Beautiful views, well cared for lake home, boating, fishing, firepit, lake toys, lawn games, hot tubs. The kids loved playing by the lake/floating island. All sorts of equipment needed for cooking/ grilling. The decor/ details in this lake home made it comfortable and unique. Michael was also so sweet to leave us a gift basket on arrival which was so thoughtful. We enjoyed making s’mores with the contents. Would definitely recommend this one!

This property was very nice and accommodated all of our family. There was lots to do for everyone at any age. We were all adults (8). That being said, the 2nd bedroom in the main house is very cramped, and is probably good for kids, or adults that do not care if they have room. In the cottage, it seems great for a family, as the bath is accessed through the bunkbeds bedroom. We made it work though and would definitely return! Michael is the most kind, attentive homeowner.

Michael is a wonderful host and is always ready to answer any questions you may have. Very beautiful location, was perfect for getting ready for my wedding day! We plan to stay again to be able to utilize everything this property has to offer!!

Girls trip weekend. We couldn’t ask for a better home, property or host. Michael was so welcoming. He left us the cutest gift basket that included a gift certificate to a local farm stand and coffee shop which we used while there. The lake water was perfect temperature. Lots of water toys to keep us busy. Hot tubs were clean and vital for the cool nights. All sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and clean. Everything you could possibly need for cooking was available. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing peaceful vacation.

We stayed 8/12- 8/17 and had an incredible stay. The kids were so in love with the property and the lake that everyone was sad to leave. Michael was an incredible host from. the moment we booked, until the day we checked out. The property was perfect, the house was super cute. Everything was perfect! The husbands enjoyed fishing from sun up to sun down. Having two hot tubs on property allowed us to have one set to a warm temperature that was safe for the kids to spend some time in, and one hot for adults only. Michael- Thank you again for everything, it was perfect!

Had a great time at the house. It was just as described with plenty to do for all of our group. The lake was perfect for snorkeling, swimming, paddle boarding, peddle boats and lots more. The house was clean and comfy with all the necessities. The hot tubs were great and in pristine condition. Communication with the owner was seamless....a great week!

Lake house was amazing! The views & all the kayaks/paddle boats was a plus! We had a rainy day and was still entertained inside the house. Michael was an awesome host, he answered all my questions right away! 10/10 recommend.

The property was exactly as listed and beautiful. There were plenty of paddle boards and kayaks and other water toys to enjoy. Communication with Michael was easy and he was a great host. Would definitely stay again!

Michael was a wonderful host, and his house and property were amazing. We went to celebrate our anniversary with a long weekend and he really made us feel special. The house was the perfect way for us to relax!

This property is a perfect place to escape to. Very private but close enough to groceries and other needs to be comfortable. Michael was incredibly responsive and you can tell he wants you to have an excellent stay. We rented in the first week of October so I don't have much to say on the water activities or how it would be as a summer house but coming to the area for the fall transition was beautiful. We'd happy come back and it was painful to leave!

Michael was amazing. Not only was his communication the best we've had, he made our trip so very special. The space was perfect for us. Private, although right on the highway you can't hear anything in the house. Beautiful sunrises. More kitchen gadgets than I've ever seen. We didn't do in the water due to temperatures, but it looked clean and would be fun in the summer. Hot water in an amazing shower too!

We stayed at this property for a family vacation to get to know the Champlain area when moving my son to VT from CO for Junior Hockey. First: I have never been in a VRBO that had so many spices, cooking utensils, and games than this one! It was easy to spend time together here, which is exactly what we needed. Second: Having two separate living/sleeping areas was nice for us. A couple of the nights our adult children (19 - 25) stayed in the small house while on the other nights, they fell asleep in the living room after we all watched movies. Third: You learn the most about an owner when you have challenges. We had a couple of small issues during our stay that could happen to anyone (internet slowness and a slow leak in one of the paddle boards). Michael got those fixed immediately. (PS - Speaking of paddles boards - He has a whole row of life jackets of different sizes to keep you safe!) This was a fantastic choice for our family. We spent a ton of time playing bumper pool (and will now have to buy one for the family) and it was close enough to Burlington for what we needed. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Stacey

So this was our first time doing a house rental of any kind so I was a bit nervous as to what I was getting into. The house was fabulous and Michael crossed all the Ts and dotted all the Is. very private. No neighbors. Even with inclement weather we entertained ourselves. We had no propane for the bbq and after contacting Michael he sent his guy over instantly to fix the problem. We look forward to returning to this property without any apprehension next summer. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Michael's property. The place has a ton of nice features and a kitchen that is very well fitted with everything you need. The location was perfect for our dog as well, and we didn't have to worry when letting him play outside. The kids had a great time playing bumper pool. Michael was extremely responsive and was willing to take care of anything we needed help with. Would definitely recommend and we may book again sometime.

Michael was an excellent host with a gift basket and gift certificate to a local farmers market. He was in contact to let us know when his assistant needed to stop by to clean the hot tubs and take care of trash. We forgot to mail a card that we accidentally left there and he contacted us to say he would mail for us. Just a wonderful location on the lake and had anything you could want or need for a great vacation. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to be back.

My large 9 person family booked this property January 1st of this year dreaming of warmer days to spend with the dogs by the water. We were not disappointed. The home was clean and the view was beautiful. There were plenty of games inside and toys outside to use. The hot tub was a huge hit with my older parents with mobility issues. It was really nice to take the paddle board out before sun rise then relax with some coffee inside the hot tub and play uno at the card table at night. We were so excited to be able to bring the dogs with us this year on our family trip again. They had so much fun wrestling, playing chase and swimming. The yard was big enough for two large and one medium size dog to have enough room to run around 8 other adults. The rooms were big enough to hold dog crates in. We did not trust the fence that goes over the drove way completely though but we had a couple of pretty young dogs with us. We made due by parking the cars in front of it as well as blocking with furniture (probably over kill but I work at a vet and I am never too cautious). They barely even looked at the road. My dog has been sleeping for almost an entire days now that we are home. My family consisted of 8 adults ranging from ages 27-71 and 1 teenager including 1 person who is heavily pregnant so the sleeping arrangements were less then ideal for our family. It would definitely be better suited for two families with smaller children or teenagers instead of One family big with adult children and their children (or fur children). The second room in the smaller house with the bathroom got incredibly hot at night if you wanted any privacy by shutting the doors between rooms. None of these things took away from much we truly enjoyed our vacation though. Michael was a very responsive host as well. We loved our welcome basket.

The property is just as described so there was no surprises. My husband and I brought our adult sons (28 & 22) and my sons fiancée. There was more than enough room for 5 adults and we never felt on top of each other. We also brought my small dog. We went Sun-Fri and only left the property one day to go to Burlington VT (about 1.5 hours away). We had such a great time just being at the Lakehouse. Almost every day we spent some time at the dock and used the paddle boards, kayak and raft. The water was no more than 4-5 feet pretty far out. I would recommend water-shoes as the small beach area is rocky and there is a lot of lake grass. We grilled every night except one (we ordered from the Italian place). We spent A LOT of time in the hot tub. Jeremy, the maintenance engineer, stopped by twice to chlorinate or clean them. A highlight for our game playing family was the table that flipped over to be a poker table. We played every night. The one rainy day we found a game called Buzzed in the pantry and that was probably the best game we have played in a while. Michael was super responsive but we literally had no real issues (he just sent Jeremy to reset the hot water tank once - was there within an hour). Overall, this is the perfect Lakeside house for relaxation, spending quality time with family playing in the lake or games, and getting away from the world. Thank you Michael!!

Renting Michael's Lake House was the best decision! We travelled with several teenagers and adult children plus ones and it was just perfection. The house was exactly as he described and the amenities made enjoying the property and lake so easy! We loved the attention to detail with the house and cottage layouts as well as the grounds with the plants, composting, recycling, etc. Michael is a great host who is very attentive to any and all questions, concerns, and any needs that arise. Thank you so much for making our vacation one for the memory books. We definately plan to rent again!

My mother had 2 requests for her birthday celebration this year, to be by the water to go fishing and to be among nature. Well, that directive lead me to the beautiful lake house owned by Michael in Champlain NY. First, we could not have asked for a better location…water (check), beautiful, cozy, well appointed accommodations (check), lots of opportunities for outdoor activities (check), being among nature (checkmate). I cannot begin to describe the amazing family memories we made here. We fished, paddle boarded, made s’mores in the fire pit and relaxed to the max. We visited a local farm and my daughter fed a goat which sent her little heart to the moon! As an added bonus, Michael left us an amazing gift basket as a welcome gift AND he arranged for a $25 gift card to a local family farm stand in celebration of my mother’s birthday. I thought this was SO nice and unexpected. Speaking of Michael, what an amazing host- no question was too small and no concern was left unaddressed. I don’t know how he manages to answer so fast! Check in was super easy and contact less. He leave his contact information in the home for you should you need him at any time. The house is gorgeous and fully stocked, he has things we didn’t even know we would need! Board games, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. We were a family of 4 adults and one child so we had no problem with arranging places to sleep. My sister and her boyfriend stayed in the cottage house and let me tell you, that space is beautiful too! One thing, which has nothing to do with the house itself, bring bug spray lol. The first night I thought a plague was upon us but I think it was a combination of the winds and the weather, lol. But after that night and with some off and citronella candles we were fine.I remarked to my family that the lake house really feels like home, it’s not something you can duplicate- I think it’s a reflection of the time, love, and positive energy that has gone into making this place so special. I hope to come back here often because I cannot say enough positive things about this place. THANK YOU for sharing tour home with us!

We do a girls weekend every year with family and friends and this was definitely our favorite thus far. Super clean, amazingly beautiful views, and the house was fully stocked for a good time. I highly recommend this as a vacation spot!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. Our kids enjoyed it.. the house had everything you needed, so we didn’t worry so much for necessities.even our puppies enjoyed learning to swim in the lake!!! The equipments for the lake was good enough for us to use.. the lake was so peaceful !! The kids loved the hot tub !! The only issue was one room all the way in the back near the laundry room, the bed was really short but luckily my family is short.. lol Michael was very responsive and helpful when we needed some info on the house.. He even went out of the way to giving us a gift basket.. we appreciate it soo lunch. We had a wonderful time there and created great memories that we will never forget !!
