This was our 2nd cabin week stay at Lefty's Lodge. Twelve of us: three generations ranging in age from 2-64. The house is very comfortable for everyone. Plenty of space indoors to play games, work on puzzles, and watch late night movies. We love the lake! The best swimming right off the dock and not too deep quite a ways out from shore. We also rented their pontoon, which was great for cruising the lake. We've already booked for next year!

Lefty's Lodge was absolutely perfect for our stay while visiting the area for the 50th Birkie. The house is huge, but it's the kitchen and living room that were just what we needed. Hope to be back someday. Our thanks to Misha for her hospitality.

We loved everything about this cabin, nice kitchen with a lot of kitchen accessories, beautiful fireplace , and lakeview is amazing , location is great very close to Wallmart , we enjoyed staying at this nice house.

Lefty’s Lodge is a beautiful, comfy lake home. Kitchen has all the necessities, beds have good, supportive mattresses. The view of the lake from the house is lovely, gorgeous sunrises. We all said we would stay at this rental property again/anytime. Owners are friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

My family and I spent a lovely week at Lefty's Lodge! We have 2 teenagers and this vacation had zero complaints! We spent the week boating, swimming, fishing, mountain biking and playing games. The property was perfect! Lots of space and very clean and tidy. We cooked a few meals and happily discovered the kitchen to be perfectly equipped with everything we needed. We were just a quick drive from Hayward where we enjoyed some amazing meals too. (The Hayward Family diner was a big hit with my 16 year old!) This property would be perfect for big families, smaller families, big kids, little kids or just adults. If you are looking to spending a few days sipping coffee on the patio while enjoying a good book and staring out at a beautiful lake, then Lefty's is where you want to stay. Or if you are more of an adventurous spirit who loves swimming, boating, mountain biking and fishing, it's also perfect for you! Thanks Misha and Elka for a wonderful vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for a week away from home. The lake was very quiet and we enjoyed lots of boating time.

This was our fourth stay at Lefty's and we just love it. The house is immaculate, the lake is perfect and the location has something for all ages. Misha is a wonderful host before, during and after the stay.

Lefty’s Lodge was absolutely the most gorgeous lake home we have ever stayed in. The view of the lake when you enter the home is stunning, and it just gets better from there. Spacious, comfortable rooms and furnishings. Soo many games and activities. The fire pit - perfect for s’mores with the kids and conversation with the adults. Loved the screened porch for coffee in the morning—so cozy! Although we didn’t have a problem with mosquito, the porch would be great for that if needed. Communication with the host was timely and thorough—as were instructions for the use of the home. One of the highlights for us was the use of the beautiful 22’ pontoon. It was so convenient to have it right there with a lift next to the dock. It is in perfect condition - great for swimming at the sand bar, fishing, and cruising to the restaurants on the lake (both Anglers Haven and Trails End have play equipment for kids and patio dining—so fun!). We highly recommend renting it - it really made the vacation extra special! Although there are many steps down to the lake, there are places to rest on the way down if needed! We even had a wonderful time on cooler and rainy days - fires in the indoor fireplace, family tournaments with several of the many games to choose from (pool, croquet, etc.) Great location - only 10-15 minute drive to Hayward - if you like beer, be sure to try the Angry Minnow! It goes without saying that we highly recommend this home. Misha and Elka made us feel like family!

We loved staying at Lefty's. The house is stocked for all age ranges - the kitchen with plastic (for the kiddos) and glass (for the adults), lots of games, marshmallow roasters, dry wood for the fire, etc. The space is lovely and comfortable. As a mom, I loved the screened in porch connected off the kitchen. It was my favorite room. It had a door to go outside that I could lock, and another door out to the large, gorgeous deck, where my daughter could safely run (because there are not stairs from the deck down to the yard). My kiddo played all week on that porch. It had a bit of whimsy in the decorations, and had comfy chairs for me to read the one book I've finished all year. There are 40 steps down to the lake which is fine for most people. My parents are getting older, so they didn't go down to the lake as much as they would have if it was closer. This, of course, can't be changed, but is worth noting if you are going on a multi-generational trip. I'd highly recommend working with Misha and staying at Lefty's.

We loved our stay at Lefty’s Lodge! Our group of 11, ages 4-70, had a wonderful 4th of July week. The lake is fabulous- clear, calm water with a sandy bottom. We enjoyed water sports, swimming and also spent time at the lake’s sand bar each day. We visited the restaurants on the lake for live music, great views and delicious food. The cabin has multiple spaces for all; we especially loved the screen in porch overlooking the lake. Downtown Hayward was adorable and just a short drive away. Also, we noticed almost no mosquitoes as a previous post had mentioned was an issue. Misha and Elka were so attentive and helpful. Lefty’s truly has it all!

Lefty’s Lodge… We enjoyed it so much last year. We booked it right away for this year and it was incredible. Lefty’s doesn’t leave anything out…they’ve thought of EVERYTHING a family would need for the most amazing time on the lake.

This was the second time we stayed at Lefty’s Lodge and we loved everything. I would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone that wants to have a fantastic time.

Beautiful location, quiet and enough room for everyone! The laje was very nice, didnt catch a lot of fish, but did get enough for one fish fry! We were in shape by the wnd of the week foing up and down the stairs to the dock (about 40 steps), but otherwise awesome!

We spent a week with family at Lefty's cabin. It was clean, and above our expectations! Everything we needed was there right down to shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each bathroom! The lake is clean and nice for swimming! great gathering space outside for a fire at night! close to town, we ventured into Stone Lake and Hayward almost every day and enjoyed cooking in the amazing kitchen! beds are very comfortable, there were 11 of of us of all ages and it fit our every need! thank you for the incredible stay, highly recommend!!

Overall, the experience was GREAT! The host was easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. This location was 14 minutes from Hayward! The weekend we went it was the land of 10,000 mosquitoes, but the family time was worth it. The home accommodated our larger group well. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our group of four couples but it would also be great with kids. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable in every way. The location is also nice. Private but not too far from Hayward or local restaurants/bars. Don’t hesitate to book this home!

We enjoyed every second of our time. The owners were accommodating to an earlier checkin which was the cherry on top. This a family friendly property and great spot for kiddos too! We hope to return someday!

We come up to the area every year and have a group of 10-12 aged 6-70 and this has been our favorite cabin! The owners are fabulous to work with and have a great location on a wonderful lake. We already made reservations for next time!

The lake was excellent and fishing went very well. We loved the option to rent the pontoon boat and enjoyed several rides with it. It was our first time visiting the Hayward area and it was nice to be so close.

Our family has been enjoying summers in Hayward WI for years. We were over the "loon" (moon) to discover Lefty's Lodge. It was perfect for our family, fishing, boating, hanging out playing games. There is SO MUCH to see and do in this area ... it just continues to beckon us back year after year. This place was so perfect, we've already booked for 2023 and can't wait to be at the lake again. It was perfect for our 3 generation family cabin week! There was plenty of room for all of us (12 + infant). The kitchen is large and well appointed. The swimming is fantastic! It's sandy and fairly shallow for quite a distance. We all enjoyed swimming and playing in the lake. The fishing was also a lot of fun. We caught enough for two fish dinners during our stay. Misha was super to work with and quick to respond to any inquiry. We highly recommend Lefty's Lodge and have already booked for next year!

Enjoyable

Everything about the location and property is absolutely perfect. Activities for all kinds of weather, ages, and abilities. Our family ranges in age from 1-53, and everyone had a great time. Owners are very easy to work with and made the process seamless. The bonfires and boat rides were my favorite parts.

Rented Lefty’s Lodge for a family retirement gathering long weekend. Great to work with Misha, keeps you up to date on the house. Great location, lake is always clear, house is just right. Great views from the deck! Spacious house and fun games to play too.

Lefty's Lodge was the perfect place for a weekend away with my family. The cabin itself was picturesque inside and out in a lovely location with beautiful views of the lake. It was very clean, well decorated and stocked with plenty of games and activities! The owner was a pleasure to communicate with and the details provided prior to the stay were thorough and spot on! 10/10 would recommend to all family and friends! You wont be disappointed!
