The house was great and just like described. The beds were a little hard but manageable. More instructions on how things work (like the gas stove top) would be helpful. Overall a great house in a great location!

Our family had a nice trip to Richmond for a wedding.

We traveled to Richmond for our anniversary and to take our son to the race. The location of the home was PERFECT! We walked many places and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The fenced yard was so nice to have for our two dogs. They loved enjoying the outdoor space with us. We can't wait to go back again!

We enjoyed our stay in Richmond very much. The home was cozy and clean. Great quiet neighborhood which was a great jumping off point for all our various Richmond destinations. The host graciously checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Our family enjoyed our time together in this home!

Clean, good location, quiet residential neighborhood,

Location was perfect for our needs as it split the distance between all our family members. The kitchen, downstairs bathroom and den were great and we enjoyed playing games around the dining room table. Beds were very comfortable. Floors upstairs were creaky but it gives the house character. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and we enjoyed a nice walk in the neighborhood. Josh was a great host and even volunteered to drive over to see what was wrong with the TV. Would not hesitate to stay again.

There is not much available in this area near University of Richmond but fortunately this place was perfect for a group of family members who needed overflow beds for a gathering at a home nearby. I highly recommend this house for folks visiting the University or looking to say near, but not too near, the down town area. Great food and shopping nearby and the house is well stocked with everything we needed.

The house was exactly as advertised and very comfy for us and for entertaining our children and grandchildren who live in Richmond!

We were in town visiting family for Thanksgiving. We had an amazing time!! The house was absolutely perfect and it is in a wonderful neighborhood and great location to many things! We loved walking our dog around the neighborhood. The house has everything you need!! Highly recommend this house!!

The location and accommodations were ideal. We were two couples and one single, each coming from other states. We had more than enough space. Our local sibs joined us for meals prepared on site, and the kitchen proved up to the task. We had everything we needed to allow us to be comfortable and focus on catching up with each other. The homeowner's instructions were clear, making every step smooth, from securing the rental to lock-up and departure. Absolutely no hesitation here to recommend this VRBO. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future gatherings.

We needed a home away from home in Richmond to attend a family gathering. It was perfect with 4 bedrooms, an office space, huge open kitchen, plus den, living room and dining room. Plenty of space for 6 adults! The owner has all of the necessary supplies there to use - for the dishwasher, washing machine. And we could bring the dog!

Throughout the reservation process to checking out, host Josh was very responsive and offered extra steps to insure our comfort. 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and more additional non-bedrooms rooms than we actually needed. The kitchen has everything you need. We took an afternoon walk in the neighborhood and loved seeing all the various housing styles. Lovely overall!

Owner did a nice job of communicating with us. If we are in the area would consider staying there again.

This property was wonderful for our needs. My family was in town for a wedding and this was a perfect home base for us. Location was great, size of the property was perfect as well. We had 4 adults and a baby under 2 with us and we never felt cramped. Josh was a great communicator. Would recommend staying here if you need a bit more space and still want to be in a central location.

The house was wonderful, clean and convenient. However, as a caution to older folks, the stairs can be very difficult if you are not used to them. They were difficult for all of us over 70. Our issue - not the fault of anyone else. We will stay on one floor for future travel. House was great overall. Thank you, Josh

Arrived from S Florida for UR parents weekend. The home was nicely decorated, warm homey feeling, cozy, and clean. Better than advertised!! Only about 1 mile from UR in a very nice/safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again. In fact, I hope to stay here again. Josh was a fantastic host.

It’s in top shape

Overall, this is a great place to stay. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with off street parking. Josh (our host) was responsive to any questions. It is in a convenient location to grocery and restaurants, however I would not recommend walking due to lack of sidewalks and crazy drivers. The VRBO listing shows there is a hot tub, and there is not. This was only a minor disappointment, however it is worth noting. A good place for a large family gathering!

I had a last minute issue that prevented me from going on my trip but the host was very easy to deal with during the booking process and I will be booking with him again next time I plan to visit the area.

What a treat Josh's place was for our family of 4 (includes one dog!). After being on the road visiting colleges with our son, and most recently staying in what amounted to a tiny house on a farm in PA, Josh's house felt so comfortable, familiar, and yes, spacious! The kitchen had absolutely everything we could have hoped for you prepare family meals, the bedrooms were so beautifully furnished and comfy, each with its own decor and style; the yard was was really cool because of the size and dimensions of the lot (it was like we had two side yards and a back yard, all fenced and safe for our dog). We really did not want to leave! Oh, and the neighborhood was especially nice and just down the street from a school that had room for my son and husband to throw the baseball. There are nothing but positive things to report about this rental. For sure, we will be contacting Josh to book again when we return to Richmond.

I highly recommend this house. It is in a great location and a safe neighborhood. The fenced in yard is great for dogs and kids. It also provides a lot of shade and privacy with the landscaping. Everything we needed was in the house. The kitchen was efficient and well-stocked. Josh was very quick to respond to any questions and even checked on us first after checking in. It is very clean and has a comfortable, cozy feel. We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely, quiet neighborhood and great location.

Very nice colonial house close to University of Richmond. Only downside is that all the furniture in the house looks like it was taken from the owner's grandmother's attic. Also one (of the 4) bedrooms was very dusty - perhaps had not been used in a while - and caused a major allergy problem. Fortunately we were able to use another bedroom.

Josh's house was perfect location for a reunion weekend at the University of Richmond. We didn't require much. Josh was quick to respond.

Came from Wisconsin with family for our daughters graduation. House was great amd perfect for us. The location is just a short 10 min drive to downtown and campus is a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor space is nice and we spent evenings sitting on the patio.

I booked Josh's home two years before our daughter's graduation from University of Richmond and boy, am I so grateful I did. Our five days of celebration was that much more special because we had this perfect home to celebrate our daughter with all our family. Josh is very communicative and the house is quaint with antiques. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed especially for the special backyard dinner we had with 12 of us! Thank you Josh.
