Location, location, location. We love being so close to the beach. Your cottage is adorable and we loved it again. As far as feedback, we have some. The backyard was a bit run down this time. The fence was broken I imagine from the rain storms . It also looks as though the gardener left piles which were needed to be recycled into the green bin. Last time the back yard was pristine. The bed was also a bit soft this time. Everything breaks down eventually. Just feedback for you. On the whole, everything else was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was just what our family needed. It’s close to the beach and has enough room for the three of us.

Wonderful ‘back to basics’ cabin, 4 houses away from a sandy beach access. Fabulous cafe 6 blocks away with early morning croissants daily. Super friendly community. A great base for local trail hiking.

The location of this place is super convenient and the house is beautiful. We loved being able to walk right over to the beach and come back whenever we wanted and having an overall awesome trip. The house felt clean and had great character.

Highly recommend this wonderful cottage. Extremely clean, well stocked (kitchen) and just adorable. A little slice of paradise from the rat race.

Love, love, love this place! So quaint and cozy. Our dog loved the backyard and you can’t beat a two minute walk down a private path to the beach. The two plug-in heaters came in handy for a chilly rainy weekend stay

We loved the first impression of the property. By the time we unloaded all of our stuff for the house, we added an electric blanket on the bed. It wasn’t till later that we realized it was going to get cold, and we couldn’t figure out where the wood was or whether we could even use that stove I don’t know if I missed that in the overall or not, plus the damper does not move in and out at all so our wood burnt up very quickly. If we had a fire the first night we would have not froze to death but that was our main goal. The next day was to find heat. I went into town and bought Wood was fine and when I got home, I found the wood alongside the back of the property, but I needed the Botwood to get the wood to burn. The kitchen equipment was very well stocked. We had a wonderful time grilling in the backyard. We had to clean the grill. It was pretty bad, but Jim spent the time doing that in the sun in the backyard. Four people moving around the house during the day is fine. I was glad to see them go when it was time for them to go also the front door I was very careful not to open that top door as you said, for some reason just before I left, it came undone and I spent 15 or 20 minutes trying to get that fixed before I left the house. having to move the garbage cans Tuesday the night before I thought was a bit much to ask of us we’re old I don’t even move my own garbage cans out and trying to roll. Those in the wet sand were very difficult but I tried and I just couldn’t do it.

Close as can be to the beach! Short 3 minute walk. The house was well appointed and check in and all arrangements were seamless. A well run property and well looked after. Nice stay.

Great little beach house.

The cottage is perfect for a couple's getaway.....it's really cute and well-equipped. The yard is huge and and a nice space to enjoy meals, although the beach is just a few minute walk so it's hard to choose (o: The bed was also super comfy. Only thing I would add is if you are a movie lover there is just one smallish TV in the bedroom. It also would be nice if the washer/dryer worked (especially if you are staying for a longer period of time). Really really special weekend though and we had a wonderful time. The property was cute, well stocked and just a few steps to the beach. The location was perfect. A quick walk to restaurants or trailheads and just a minute walk down to the beach. Property was overall clean, but kitchen could use some deep cleaning. Great backyard with plenty of outdoor space. There was no real eating area besides the tiny island in the kitchen. An outdoor patio table would be a nice addition, so that there is a proper table, there is plenty of room. My reservation process was rocky. After making an initial reservation I requested a change in checkout dates. VRBO did have a technical issue the first time that I requested, not a big deal. However, it took me several more emails to the host over the course of month to get my date changed and a refund for one night. He then never changed the date in the actual VRBO reservation calendar, so he was messaging me after I had checked out, thinking I was still there. I am also a VRBO host and understand the process of changing reservation details, it’s a simple process on the host’s end. There was a technical glitch the first time I requested the change, but VRBO resolved the issue shortly after.

Very good stay, less some issues with wifi connectivity and strength. Overall, a great time was had by all...

Three high school friends (Some are grandmother's now.) stayed the weekend in this cute Mouse Hole. We so loved the place and it was the perfect size. Loved the backyard which would be warmer than the front side if needed. Such a short nice walk to the beach with perfect sand, not too many people and dogs having fun. Power went out all over Stinson Beach in the evening and we found a flashlight, stood it up and had enough light to get around and the battery tea light for the bathroom. Glad we knew where to find what we needed.

This property was so warm and welcoming from first site. Easy to find, well equipped. There was a little confusion with VRBO when I added an extra night to our stay which led to the servicing staff showing up a day early. The property manager will be working on that issue for future bookings. Thank you for a wonderful stay which we thoroughly enjoyed with our dogs. They loved it too!

We loved our stay at the Mouse Hole! It is just a few steps from the beach down a short path, but even better is the close proximity to the shops and restaurants in town. We really enjoyed being able to park our car for the duration of our stay and walk on the beach to get to town for a snack or dinner. But yet far enough away that the beach wasn’t crowded with day trippers. We also really appreciated all of the hanging storage in the cottage, so that we could keep our belongings organized and off of the ground. We look forward to returning soon!

Darling well stocked home with great yard for kids and dogs, just a short path to the beach and short walk to dinner in town. We have stayed here several times and look forward to our next Stinson adventure! Thank you For the memories!

Great location! Just a few houses away from the beach. Super cute yard and outdoor space. Be aware that house has only one actual bed (a comfy Queen) and that the foldout couch is so uncomfortable as to be unusable for sleeping. So property really sleeps 2 people who are comfortable sharing a bed.:)

Great location, a short walk to a dog friendly beach with great stretch for long walks or just sitting and watching the waves and sunset. Very quiet neighborhood and Colby was very accessible although we had no problems with anything. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Great stay for a couples getaway.

The cottage is small but cute and in a wonderful location-- steps from the beach. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was cozy. Overall a wonderful mini-vacation for my husband and I!

We celebrated our 44th Anniversary at this darling little beach house & upon our arrival a sweet card & delicious candy was waiting for us. Very thoughtful!! We enjoyed our time & will be back!

Location to the beach was great! We did not realize the house was heated by portable space heaters. But they worked fine for the size of the cottage.

Everything about this cottage and the Stinson Beach community was wonderful. We stayed in three other places on our trip and this place was the best. Everything was exactly as described and Colby, the host was helpful and attentive. Great experience.
