Fabulous view.. clean and comfortable.. well stocked kitchen

we found this place at the last min because our previous booking was cancelled. wow, what an upgrade!!! This house has beautiful view, spacious, great location, very comfortable bed and sofa, the kitchen has everything you need. we also enjoy the Jacuzzi. the host is very nice and responsive to our questions. we enjoyed very much at this place. Highly recommend. we will rent this place again if we come back to Stinson beach.

You cannot do better than this wonderful house: it’s a beach-front location; it has a stunning, unobstructed view, beautifully framed by a four-panel glass front (during high tide, you feel like you’re on a ship); spacious and well-furnished bedrooms, and a splendid huge open space, consisting of a kitchen, dining room and living room; and a killer hot tub. Another huge plus for us was the host. Hannah was very friendly, helpful and responsive. You will not regret renting this uniquely wonderful beach house.

This house is a long step up from your "beach house." The living dining and kitchen area, which includes a front-row ocean view is two steps up. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub - you can't beat a plunge into the north pacific and a flash soak in a hot tub. The house was outfitted with everything we might need throughout.

Lovely beach home. Comfy, spacious, amazing windows looking out over the beach. Great location. Plenty of parking. Was exactly as advertised.

Arriving a wow; leaving a wow; entire in-between time a wow. Four floor-to-ceiling windows provided a non-stop beach and ocean experience - We Were There! lots of comfy sofas and beds (yes - cotton sheets!). Hot tub very fun; beach running and hanging out; many nearby into-the-hills trails and views. fabulous pastries nearby and even more fabulous pastries 22 minutes away at Pt Reyes (Bovine & Brickmaiden bakeries). Quiet washer/dryer. Full kitchen including numerous spices. We are waiting for the host to open the calendar for next year. hope to beat you, dear reader, to it!!!

Wonderful house right on the sand. Hannah, the owner keeps the place organized and in great shape.

Spacious rooms. Located right on the beach with huge picture windows overlooking the sand and the sea. Wonderful place to stay. We have been there 3 years in a row and won't got anywhere else.

Just steps from the beach, this spacious home had everything we needed for a family vacation. We enjoyed long walks, relaxing in the hot tub, and watching the ocean from the living room windows and deck. We prepared most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. We hope to return to this peaceful home.

tall ceilings and 4 enormously tall windows facing the ocean make for an absolutely incredible view. You simply can not beat the access to beach and town combo. 2 king beds is a plus, especially loved having lots of nice pillows!! Towels and beach accessories perfect. The house has a great floor plan, nice furnishings, everything very clean and comfortable. (The only draw back is kitchen floor sags by the sink/dishwasher but that could be attributed to recent storms which also took out the back steps)

View couldn’t be better.

The house was very clean and in good repair. Location was great. The drive in on highway 1 was spectacular or scary depending on who you asked.

Amazing location, clean property, and surprisingly comfortable beds. Slept better there than in my own home. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming too!

Do not stay here! The host (Hannah K) was vicious and hostile in her attempts to intimidate us into cancelling without refund. When we arrived, we realized that the reason she tried to get us to cancel was because the house was not ready for guests. The outdoor patio had been destroyed by storm damage. All that remained was a gaping and dangerous hole in the ground. Additionally, the deck off the living room did not exist, as it did in the images when we booked. Instead, there was plywood guarding the living room glass doors that said “DO NOT OPEN”. We tried to be honest and transparent in communicating how many day guests we would have in the house. When we told Hannah that my mother and bridesmaids (8 people total) would come over to help me get ready for my wedding, she charged us an additional $600. She threatened to forcibly remove us from the property if we did not pay, if anyone but the two of us entered the house. The view out the front windows was great, but nowhere near worth the experience of dealing with such a nasty person. There are lots of beautiful properties in Stinson with friendly hosts. We strongly encourage you to look there.

The ocean view and beach proximity is fantastic. The property obviously sustained damage during the winter storms that has not been repaired. There is no direct access to the rear/side yard except through the front door or guest bathroom. There is no comfortable private conversation seating area outside. We brought charcoal for a grill, but there was only a propane unit. The septic system alarm and lighting went off during a normal shower. The jacuzzi tub was not an option as the tub drain did not seal. There are soft spots in the floor at the entry and kitchen indicating damaged floor joists or subfloor. If you like dogs this is your spot. Overall I feel taken advantage of and as a result did not enjoy ourselves as much as our numerous other stays just a few houses away from the Green House at Stinson Beach.

We fully enjoyed our stay at this beach rental. It is literally located on the beach and you can see and hear waves all day and night. The house was clean, comfortable and is set up well for a smallish group. The house is updated and feels pretty modern, even though it is an older beach home, which we expected. The photos are accurate. This home worked great for our family of 4 adults. The coast view from the house is beautiful and the eastern view is all mountains. We hardly needed a car other than for arrival and departure. We walked to the trailheads and were able to hike all the way into Muir Woods and back, which was spectacular! We also rented boards down the block and surfed from the house. Its also an easy walk into the town for food/groceries. I would recommend walking to town on the beach rather than the road-- its closer and much nicer that way. Just make sure to get groceries early as the store is only open from 8am-6pm. There are also only a couple restaurants in town. All these things make Stinson feel relaxed and easy for a vacation.

Beautiful place, the owner was super helpful and the presence of a great bakery a short walk up the beach made it nearly perfect. Only quibble was that the vacuum cleaner was at the repair shop and it was difficult to keep the carpet clean with the dirt devil (with the world’s smallest suction opening). The kids also whined a little bit about the weather and the water temperature but that had nothing to do with the house which was lovely.

We enjoyed our family trip to Stinson Beach and this beach front property. It is hard to express how wonderful it is to stay "on the sand" when you have young kids in tow. We would certainly visit again. We cooked 3 meals per day and had plenty of kitchen items to help us out. We had a few kinks on the first day, but the owner was available to communicate and we felt taken care of. This is a kid-friendly property which had a changing table, stools, 2 pack n plays, towel drying rack, and other younger kid oriented toys and games. I'm not sure that they will always be there, but we appreciated them. Of note, the massive ocean front windows have power blinds which I really enjoyed operating. We had a full view in the morning and evening and were able to dim the glare at the hottest part of the day.

We were very pleased with everything about the house. You can’t get any closer to the beach or have a better view! The home is clean and very kid friendly for our little ones. We had a great time and highly recommend this beautiful beach home.

This is our second time staying here and it was great. We really enjoyed the location and the house. Will definitely stay again.

The house was spectacular. It was right on the ocean and we could walk into town to go to the coffee shop. The views were breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back!

If you want a place to stay ON the beach, in a relaxing & peaceful & pretty fancy environment … this fits the bill. I personally wouldn’t bring more than 4 adults (there are 2 bedrooms, 2 baths), but it is spacious. We ended up dancing & looking out at the beach through the 4 huge windows while drinking wine & listening to music. It was a great memory. The jacuzzi is really well cared for & a nice way to relax. We popped in for a bit during the day & it was great. Cooking was easy, they have a decent set of pots. The town is really really quaint, you’ll be close to the center (5Min walk at most). Food for thought for guests: 1) Go to the amazing supermarket about 15min away instead of the tiny (limited)?market in town. 2) There aren’t many restaurants in town

Had the good fortune to stay at this absolutely lovely home. The property’s location and views are stunning! Home was well-decorated and furnished, amenities were on point, every possible need anticipated and provided for. Home was meticulous, check-in/out a breeze, and Hannah (owner) was delightful to work with. We hope to return soon.

House cleaning company forgot to clean the house before we checked in. The owner was very responsive and tried to have the house cleaned. It was to late in the day. The house is very organized. It's a nice spot.
