The property was very cute and really fit the Palm Springs vibe. I liked that the villas or sections of the hotel are spread out and it felt like our own private villa. Pool water was perfect. I really liked the communication from the staff via text message and the responses were quick and to the point.
It would have been nice to have a few different dining options for dinner and to have an indoor restaurant option for when the temperatures are in the hundreds.

This is a beautiful hotel and perfect for a romantic getaway. Breakfast was plentiful-yoghurt,fruit,granola,pastries,bagels,smoked salmon, cream cheese. The restaurant was cosy on a cool evening with a wood fire burning serving great cocktails and tapas.

Honestly we loved our stay here! From the architecture and design of the whole place to the drinks and food by the pool. The vibe was very nice and relaxing and the comfiest bed! Staff was super quick and kind whenever we had a questions.

Attention to detail, aesthetically gorgeous, pool lounge was great. The rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully, nespresso machines included.

At Villa Royal, I was transported to the glamorous world of 1950s movie stars. The opulent surroundings, impeccable service, and attention to detail made me feel like I was living in a golden age Hollywood film. It was a truly enchanting and unforgettable experience.

We loved the guy at the front desk. So welcoming and helpful. The drinks are great as is the food, poolside and in the restaurant. The housekeeping staff was exceptionally nice and cool. The grounds are beautiful and the pools are very clean.
The place is a magnet with wannabe 'influencers.' We stayed two times prior and it wasn't as bad as this last time. Hopefully that dies down and the place goes back to being a groovy cool hangout.

- The shade under the arched porch running alongside the bedrooms and the restaurant, and the mist being spewed from the porch’s edge;
- quiet spots (including a hot tub) in the garden away from the pool courtyard;
- Loaner bikes, very convenient to go to the city center or trailheads nearby;
Service can be slow around the pool.

I liked that it was away from the dowtown busyness and it was quiet!
I noticed some rust under the bathroom sink. and the blinds in the bathroom were broken.

I don’t like music over the speakers at the pools. I prefer to relax, have peace and quiet, and listen to local sounds of trees and birds. You could have a compromise - and have it only playing in the afternoon? keep the morning quiet?

The property is very cute. Nice pool, and grounds over all.

The bed was very comfortable and the snacks in the mini bar are all organic and very thoughtful
We were offered "welcome drinks" which was basically can i pour some tequila into a cup for you", which i personally would not consider a welcome drink. Better to have something refreshing and pre-made even if it's not alcoholic.
Our room was quite dark and very small for the money. Especially weird/awkward bathroom with little room to get aorund. i would try not to be given room 11!
Pool menu could be a bit bigger for those staying more than one night otherwise you don't have much options
no blow dryer in the room!

The room was great with a nice fireplace. The pool was perfect and the staff was very attentive and helpful.

It’s a great location quiet and relaxing we always enjoy our stay here
I didn’t like that the main pool was being repair and we had to use there other pools which it seems a bit tight how the lounge chairs where places not enough room

The pool area service was great. Not pushy but proper. They allowed couples to relax and enjoy and kept everything flowing. Pool area with the misters and a cocktail. its nice. The property is very private and secure.
There was an unruly guest the second night that was not handled properly. Ruined our stay and I'm sure others too. We happened to be next door to the couple our second night and the rest of the night was a disaster. total bummer after a pretty much perfect 1st day and night.
