We loved the lakeside location and cleanliness of the room and hotel.

The chlorine and/or pool chemicals were extremely strong and got in my eye and my contact ripped. Other guests had that issue too.

The views were wonderful and the facility was nice. The staff was helpful and very kind.

We did have smash bugs on the ceiling in our bathroom. It wasn’t unbearable just a bit gross

Jacuzzi was a bit dirty & bonfire area was under constrution with caution Tape everywhere, I wish the hotel notifed me before I booked.

Not much

The suite was in the basement with overwhelming musty mildew smell, filthy grout, disgusting hair and nasty stains on the sofa bed sheets, one wall unit that did NOT cool the whole suite by any chance, our upgraded lake view was of a construction site for a new outdoor jacuzzi or something. Staff that didn't give 2 cents and did nothing to make any changes for us, in fact they were snotty. I travel a LOT and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel room. We were were way overcharged. I wish I could cancel the credit card payment. We were robbed. This hotel wants to charge resort prices for a super 8 experience.

Location

Active construction zone in the hotel on the beach. This spoilt the experience of watching the fireworks compared to last year when the hotel staff put a bonfire there. I booked this time for the same exp. and felt cheated in a way that the hotel did not disclose it while booking.
