The owner was very friendly and accommodating, she gave some recommendations for food and the ferries to Mackinaw Island which was very helpful. The room was decorated perfectly, you could tell the owners put a lot of love and thought into it. The bathroom was superclean and quite big.
We found the bed a little uncomfortable, too soft and sweaty(as if there was a rubber sheet underneath the bedding), but judging by the other comments here we were one of the few! :)

everything! the room was beautiful, clean, and decorated so nicely. We were just here to relax so finding a smart tv with Netflix was super nice!

This place is exceptionally clean, with great quality beds and pillows, and very well decorated. We’ve stayed here two years in a row when traveling to the UP, and will likely stay here again in the future. We love it! ❤️❤️

The owners have completely renovated an older one story motel into first class accommodations. The entire place was decorated in a woodsy up north theme and the room was so comfortable and relaxing. Their lavish use of real wood in decorating the room was an added touch. Outside each unit had a different set of patio furniture which was an added touch.

Our room was very cozy. I found the decor delightful, but I'm a moose fan. We were given very accurate information about where we could find an excellent diner in town. Delightful place.
The bathroom is on the small side - shower stall, no tub. What it really needed was a small shelf of some kind: there was no where to set down the "shaving kit."

The room was cute, super comfortable and very clean.
My only complaint was that there wasn't a plunger in the room 😂 5 minutes after checking in, my boyfriend clogged the toilet and we had to call the front desk to come fix it. He was mortified. The man who came was SO NICE and professional but still, would've loved to avoid that situation 😂
