Friendly staff, beautiful views, clean and the rooms are very spacious.

No microwave in the room, refrigerator control was broken so everything froze. Too many chemicals in the pool and got tubs, took the toner out of my hair, that will cost me $100+ to have it fixed.

balcony needed cleaning, there was significant amount of dead mosquitoes tangled on spiderwebs around the balcony door and window.

The scene is like an episode of Shitts CREEK. It's just missing the main Characters. The view is amazing but do not to see much from room 347.

Great location..love the view. Pool, hot tub, and bed all excellent. The place is feeling it's age but it wasn't a big deal for us.

The location was great proximity for a day on Mackinac Island. The rooms were easily accessible and we enjoyed being able to use the beach space. The staff was welcoming and friendly too.

Many reviews stated that the facilities were outdated, and they were definitely right. The playground equipment and chairs at the beach were significantly weathered. Those that weren’t weathered had bird poop all over them. The rooms were outdated, stains on carpet/side of box springs, marks on underside of comforter (saw upon departure), and damage to walls wasn’t completely patched.

The view and the balcony are amazing! It sold me from the moment I saw the pictures online. I loved having the view and the relaxing sounds of the waves in the evening. We had breakfast in the morning out there. It was so calming and relaxing! We spent most of our hotel time out on the balcony! Loved having a hallway microwave. It was very kind to have one available.

A little longer for breakfast would be nice. Breakfast was from 6-9. We were rushed to get down to breakfast before it closed. I would also recommend adding a ramp/wedge by the elevator door in the lower parking lot. It was difficult to get the cart and the walker up over the door frame. I’m sure it is from the building settling but it would make it easier for everyone if the tripping hazard could be fixed. Also our mattresses were thin and hard. But next door (in the Grandmas’ room) they had thick and soft mattresses.

The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Mackinak island. Beds are confortable. The room is large and the view on the lake really nice. Access is easy by car

It is not practical to have the sink separate from the bathroom. I do not like the carpet on the floor, especially towards the sink. This does not allow for impeccable hygiene.
