This was a perfect place to stay. So centrally located. Enjoyed the beach and health club that you have access to. Knew the pools were under renovation before we got there but it didn’t prevent us from enjoying the beach. It will be gorgeous once it is done. Enjoyed the views. Felt like you were on top of the trees and ocean view was so relaxing. Even on rainy days! Jan is so easy to work with and easy to communicate with. Thank you for making our 50th so special.

Nice place

Very clean decorated unit. Girlfriends came down enjoyed the pool, playing card, and going out to eat. Huaband joined and had fun sitting on beach with our daughter and dinner at the Black Marlin and lunch at The Crazy Crab resturants. Two of our favorites.

Quiet yet centrally located, the condo is in an ideal location. Steps from the beach & pool. Minutes from several restaurants and grocery stores. Nice views from the balconies. Good communication with property manager.

We enjoyed staying here very much! Jan is a wonderful property manager - she responded quickly when we had a concern (unrelated to the unit) and followed up more than once to make sure everything had been resolved and that we were enjoying our stay. The unit was clean, attractive and comfortable. Our only complaint was the slow elevator, but everything else about the unit and property were great!

Nice property and unit. Lots of nice touches. Have stayed numerous times in Palmetto Dunes and this was a positive experience. Woukd recommend.

Great location in Palmetto Dunes. Property manager Jan is super. This unit is a 5th floor corner which is perfect and very quiet. Very clean unit which was appreciated. The furnishings are nice but starting to need replaced. The unit is older and in need of some updating especially in the master bath and bedroom. Mattress in master bedroom not as comfortable as we had hoped. Surprised to see duck tape holding tub together and electrical in need of updating. Kitchen is well equipped but space is limited. Might consider adding more spatulas, insulted cups, chip clips, small cooler or insulted bag for beach. TVs are older, too small for the spaces, difficult to operate and watch recently released movies due to lack of picture quality. Appreciated the beach towels and hairdryer. Washer/ dryer worked great. Air condition in master bedroom limited, but fan helped. Would recommend adding more family games to play especially when raining. Tons of puzzles and books. We flew to HH and in units we’ve rented previously in Palmetto Dunes were more stocked with spices, hand soap, aluminum foil, bags, coosies, Kleenex, etc. It’s difficult to bring these items with you in your luggage. Overall a great unit and perfect for 4 people.

Another wonderful stay at Jan's property. We had a small issue with the fridge not being cold enough at the beginning of the visit and Jan was very responsive. Luckily, setting the fridge to the coldest temperature seemed to do the trick to chill our groceries properly. We appreciated the puzzles and games that were in the condo for when we needed a break from the sun and the addition of a slow cooker and blender in the kitchen was also much appreciated. The condo was very clean overall, including the fridge. Beds are super comfortable as is the furniture. The location cannot be beat for beach access and ease of getting to other places on the island. The outdoor pool was chilly the first half of the week due to the lower temperatures, but it warmed up nicely by the end of our week.

Villamare 3526 is my ideal vacation spot! Beautiful location on the top floor with ocean views and privacy on the balconies. The unit is attractive and very well maintained! Jan Meyer is an ideal property manager and is always easy to contact. The location in Palmetto Dunes is close to golf, restaurants and other outdoor activities. I have been coming here for eight years and wouldn’t stay anywhere else for my Hilton Head Island vacation!

We spent seven weeks at Jan’s villa. It has a great view of the ocean from both balconies and is very comfortable. We slept very well in the king bed. We enjoyed having a full kitchen to prepare meals. And any issues or questions we had were resolved quickly by Jan, who is only a text or phone call away. The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor pool area has plenty of deck space. Its a short walk to the expansive beach, where the packed sand it perfect for walking, riding bikes, or just relaxing and soaking up the sun and listening o the waves with a good book! It was hard to leave on April 1, but we have already booked next winter, so that helped!

We enjoyed our stay in Hilton head. The condo was very nice. It wasn't right on the beach but it was only a short walk to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Dunes Villamare condo! The condo was pretty and just as pictured on VRBO. The surrounding property is beautiful and quiet. The beach is easy access. We will be back!

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a short term vacation rental. Everything was clean and organized. The views at this place are amazing. Access to the pool and the beach are perfect.

Great property and location!!!!

The minute we walked in, we felt right at home. Initially, the property manager, Jan, was amazing. She contacted us before the stay and had to make a small change to the reservation and took care of us. She let us know when she heard something from building maintenance about an elevator issue, and checked on us. Thankfully this particular building had two elevators. The dish washer and clothing washer and dryer worked perfectly and we were provided correct amounts of detergent. There was plenty of cookware, dishes, glasses and silver. The condo is in fantastic shape, two full bathrooms and a separate jacuzzi tub in the master room. Two wonderful porches to watch the ocean and wildlife. Plenty of parking was available. If incoild give it more than 5 stars I would. My daughter (who is extremely picky) asked me to give a 4 on cleanliness but I would give it a 5. We’ll be back. Thank you Jan.

Jan Meyer is a fantastic property manager. Quick, accurate and honest responses. This was our 4th time renting at Villamare and this was the best value condo. Any condo facing the ponds or pool it’s very hard to sleep at night because the bullfrogs are soooo loud. This place was perfect! View of the ocean and we could sleep! The walk is short from anyware don’t let that be a factor in your choice.

This was our first trip to HHI. The condo was a great location to restaurants, grocery stores and activities. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked. I would recommend this condo and stay here again.

We loved our time at Villamare! The condo was wonderfully clean and the beds were so comfortable. The ocean views from every window made our inside time relaxing. We were even able to be on the covered porch during many of the storms that rolled in. Dishes, cups, wine glasses and silverware were plentiful so we didn't need to run the dishwasher more than a few times. The in-unit washer/dryer also meant we had clean and dry towels for the beach each day and arrived home with suitcases full of CLEAN laundry. The pool was PERFECT for our not-so-confident swimmer as it is only 3-4' deep throughout and there were lots of kids for her to splash with. Getting a spot on the beach was never an issue and the boardwalk access allowed us to do several walks on the beach every day. Jan was wonderful at providing detailed instructions for the unit and checked in with us during our stay. WiFi in the unit was wonderful, which we appreciated since cell service was a challenge in HHI. I would absolutely rent from her again. The slow elevators and the tight spaces in covered parking garage were the only negatives to the location, but certainly didn't take away from our stay. If anything, it allowed us to get in a few more steps each day and offset some of those extra vacation ice creams we all enjoyed!

I have stayed in this condo many times over the years and I love it! The unit has a wonderful ocean view and is located on the top corner of the building, so it provides a bit of peaceful seclusion. The condo has been upgraded numerous times with new floors, new furniture, new drapes, etc. It always feels fresh and new. The Villamare complex is so convenient to restaurants and golf courses that getting around is very easy. Also, there is never an issue of parking availability at Villamare. Jan Meyer, the property manager, is a gem! Rarely have I needed to contact her, but when I did, my issue was resolved immediately! She’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back to the condo! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on Hilton Head Island!

Owner was very responsive. The unit and location were very good. My only constructive feedback is for the complex to heat their pool during the April and keep their indoor gym and hot tub open later than 5pm. Also the complex should offer recycling receptacles for plastic glass and aluminum. Overall I grade the unit and owner an A. I would stay again

The property was just as it was listed. Clean, spacious for a family of 5, perfect for a week. Location of the pool and beach were great. Easy access to and from. Beach was also well groomed. Can’t wait to go back!!!
