We stayed with a total of 9 people ages 11-80 and had a wonderful time! The proximity to the beach is great, shops, cafes and restaurants are close by and the house is a gem! Comfortable bedrooms, a lot of common space and a well stocked kitchen plus a beautiful back porch. Overall a great experience that we can fully recommend!!!

Place is just great. Clean, well appointed, close to everything. Has a great kitchen and bbq grill. Please do book it until all of mine are booked. Second time here and can not wait to come back.

Perfect location and great house and yard!

We had a multigenerational family gathering for the holidays and the house was perfect. The common areas were large enough for everyone to hang out and the bedrooms and bathrooms were sizeable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the location is within walking distance to beach, coffee shop, restaurants, etc. Lovely place.

Perfect location with fenced in yard in nice neighborhood. In easy walking of beach, great dining and grocery. Beds were very comfortable. Very easy communication process with property management co.

I have been coming to PB for 10 years now to visit my sons and vacation. This was by far the best house I have rented yet.

Overall appearance of site was good. Inside, the living room furnishings could use a refresh. We needed to sweep and clean floor from sand/dirt at first as socks were dirty after walking on.

We enjoyed staying at this house! The location was great; walking distance to the beach, store and cute restaurants. The patio was so inviting and relaxing, having 3 bathrooms was perfect, and the kitchen was stocked with basic items.

The location of this house is great - there are great restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The neighborhood feels safe and is quiet. The backyard was great - we were able to sit outside and hang out with plenty of room. The beds were comfortable, too. It's an older house, so spread out your showers in order to guarantee hot water : )

The set up of the home was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 3 children. Having access to the fenced backyard and comfortable sitting area right out the back door was especially nice and convenient. We were a 10 minute walk to the beach which was perfect and a short driving distance to everything else we did in the area including the Zoo and Petco Park.

We had a great stay with our family. The house worked well for our group. Location is perfect. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The only draw back is parking. You have one space. Then street parking for additional vehicles which is challenging because you are so close to everything. It’s a great house! We would definitely stay again!

Very nice place, comfortable beds (except the twins) very comfortable living room furniture and great kitchen. Backyard was not as big as it looked in the pictures but it was nice. Good place for our dog. Plumbing was noisy and one AC unit dripped (living room). The place was clean when we arrived except living room rug needed vacuumed and there was dog poop in the back yard. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come again.

The house is in a great spot, walking distance to some great restaurants, coffee shops, Gelson's (grocery store) and the beach of course. Very easy with three young kids to manage in the house.

We had a great time at this property. The house was a great set up, and the backyard was a nice oasis that we were able to sit out and enjoy. The house was clean and included everything we needed. It was a bit of a longer walk than we expected, but we brought strollers for the kids to make it easier. The house had all beach equipment needed which was an added bonus. We did have an issue with the water at one point, but the management company was very responsive and sent someone out the next morning. The one downside was that there aren't any shades in the house. This made it challenging for my kids, as they would wake up when the sun came up. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Easy process of entering the house and communicating with owners

Check in was easy. The house was very clean when we got there. It’s just a short walk to the ocean and there are lots of things at the house to use on the beach. I would stay here again if I ever go back to San Diego.

We stayed here for a family girls trip, celebrating my daughters high school graduation. The location is great. Close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and the airport. It definitely has a more local feel and not a touristy one. Very close to the beach and food places that we could walk to. The house was beautiful and well taken care of and the outdoor space was beautiful and very peaceful. We were very comfortable! The kitchen could use a few more things, mainly salt and pepper. Definitely not a deal breaker or anything, but we had picked up food to cook breakfast and that morning found no salt so we had to walk up to the store real quick. Luckily the store is so close too! If we found ourselves coming to this area again, we would definitely stay here. Very easy check in and we were just all around very happy with it. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surf Style! Upon arrival the house was spotless. Even the patio had been swept and outside furniture clean and ready for guests. We found the home to be well stocked with necessities. Renters should know there are no condiments ie, salt and pepper. It’s no big deal, just be prepared to purchase everything you may need if you plan to cook. We grilled and it was great. We found everything in working order. We were so busy sightseeing that we didn’t get a chance to use the provided beach chairs. Going to have to stay longer next time! Thanks for the great travel experience!

If you have up to 10 people in your group, dog, and want to in a quiet area but also near the beach and dining, this place WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! Can't say enough of much we loved the quiet neighborhood feel, but only a couple blocks to the beach and only a block to wonderful restaurants. The house easily fit all 10 of us and has a fenced yard, perfect for our dog. No stairs was also a plus.

We went for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location and house. Very clean and well kept. The beach items were very helpful and allowed us to pack even less stuff for the trip. Highly recommended.

The home was extremely dirty! The couches were full of animal hair. Sitting on the couches left white dog hairs stuck on clothing. Underneath couch cushions was full of dirt and additional pet hair. Layers of dirt, pet hair, and dust underneath beds and kitchen appliances. Window in bedroom was open upon arrival and latch apparently broken. Could not get the window closed or latched. Could not use the bedroom for kids due to security issue of window. No blinds present on any windows in home. Sunlight penetrates bedrooms through all windows which is not conducive for someone who desires to sleep past 5:30 AM. Hallway shower extremely slow to drain and was not usable. Water heater made whistling noise for the duration of the trip. Property requires general upkeep and maintenance. There are good reviews for this property which leads me to believe that the reviews are fictitious. Nobody in their right mind would be satisfied with the condition of the property.

This is our second year staying at this home and it is perfect for our family. Great location, easy walk to beach and other North PB locations. The only thing I'd point out is that the oven, refrigerator and washing machine could use a little maintenance. They work, but lights and filters could be changed, there is a dial on the oven that is broken, etc. All very minor and would not deter us from coming back next year. Perfect vacation this year, thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay with family. It was spacious and had a lot of nice outdoor space. The property was exactly as described. It was clean and had very nice towels. My only complaint was that street parking for our second car was difficult to find. That's to be expected in this area. I read complaints that it was too far to walk to the beach. We found that walking down Mission to Law St Beach access worked the best for us. It's an easy walk and only a half mile away.
