This lake house was perfect for a large family get away. Room enough for all…inside & out. This was our second stay & will be back. Thank for the memories!

Only 30 minutes from NOLA on the lake.

Beautiful, amazing property.

This listing has it all! Clean, close proximity to NOLA, wharf, perfect pool, large and well distributed rooms/baths. Did I say clean! Can't wait to go back next year. Larry was great to work with, you will not be disappointed.

This property was very nice and spacious. It’s proximity to New Orleans was good and you could walk to a restaurant. The only downside is it is very close to a train track. Also, the pool was cold.

Wonderful and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. It was amazing to wake up and go straight out to fish in the morning.

Everything is as the description on VBRO with exception of heated pool. 56 degrees is not usable except as ice pack for tired feet after walking so much in NOLA. Family time together after Christmas. This is third house in three years. The bedrooms and baths were exceptional and the porch and outside spaces were great. Nine of my grands 18-26 were very content with space and adults were very comfortable. We came in behind another rental and things were done well except soap for washing instructions. Parking for six cars and a Bay boat and Slidell is a wonderful town with good eating places. We enjoyed the smoker for grilled oysters and bouidan as we made our own cajon delight meal.

We stayed in October 2022 and had beautiful weather. It was enjoyable to have morning coffee on the porch and the pool and wharf were enjoyed by all. There were 7 adults and we had room to sit to watch TV and have meals together. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate Larry's responsiveness to our requests during our time at the house.

Our family came in from 7 different states; it was so nice to be together under one roof instead of separate hotel rooms. It enabled us to spend time together as a group! The pool was incredible and the wrap around porch was amazing! Every room was clean and spacious. It was so fun! Some chose to simply enjoy the breeze while sitting on the porch, while others spent most of their time in and around the pool. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen, dining and living area. We prepared meals together, talked, laughed, debated, played games, talked about old memories and made new ones!!!!!

Gorgeous place, right on Lake Pontchartrain. Impeccably clean, private, and scenic. Plenty close to downtown New Orleans still, and great for large groups. Highly recommend!

Everything was as advertised. Great location and plenty to do! The owner even gave us a late check out free of charge. Will definitely be staying here in the future.

Wow - this house was amazing!! Right on the water with a private pool. We came with a group of 14 and everyone got to sleep in a bed. Absolutely loved this place. Looked just like the pictures and Larry was such a great host. Thank you so much for having us!!

What a great place to stay. Not only is it a beautiful home with an excellent view, but there is also a lot of space inside and outside to hang out. We had 6 couples in our group and never felt like we were crowded. We loved the pool during the day and at night with lights that changed colors continuously. The deck chairs were a plus around the pool to get some sun and look out over the huge lake. We loved the large pier area to fish and crab. Plus, the large area under house to cook what we caught. Getting to New Orleans was an easy drive. We loved being on Lake Pontchartrain and not in downtown New Orleans. We found a great restaurant with outside seating on the lake and live music about 5 minutes away in Slidell. The Host was responsive for any questions we had before and during our stay !!! Couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate a 60th birthday in style. 

The house is on Lake Ponchatrain with outstanding ammenities! A peir for fishing, a pool for cooling off and hanging out, setup for BBQ or a Crawfish Boil, and so much more! The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The airconditioning systems worked excellently for both floors! Lots of places for people to gather together in small and large groups. Larrry was an excellent host and very helpful from the beginnning of our stay until the end!

We are extremely disappointed, as a group of Veterans (some disabled) who served the greatest country on God's green earth. Found this property and was looking forward to our 30th reunion found a house that was extremely filthy, puddles of unknown liquid on the floor, beds that were extremly slept in and food, dishes. We even checked in a few hours late, because some of our group own rental properties and like to do a walk through with our house cleaning staff prior to check in. This was not the case and when we try to contact owner he wanted to remove cleaning charge. This was boarding disrespectfull since we flew in from all over the state to stay her to correct his mistake and we attempted to work with him but was told, "my cleaning person had a emergency what do you want me to do" needless to say that day we all found other accommodations but I'm sure he has done this before and will continue to do so. I hope owner learns that a customer service business is about customer service, pass this home if you want to enjoy New Orleans...look for the house owned by the Wal-Mart family gem on Vrbo.

Great time! Plenty of room and lots of room to move around and a large table for dining. We had a wonderful time with the heated pool and wrap around deck perfect for sunrise and sunsets.

If you have a large party this is the place to be. We did some fishing off of the pier, enjoyed the pool, cooked crawfish using the properties equipment and cooked fajitas on a charcoal grill. Beautiful views with plenty of space.

My family spent a long weekend at the property and had a wonderful time. Owner was great to work with, property was amazing and very clean. Great location for multiple families to gather.

We had a the best time celebrating our 20th class reunion. The host was very accommodating and the property is amazing!

The property is beautiful and the views are amazing, especially the sunsets! It is a very large house and accommodated our group of 11 perfectly. There are definitely some things lacking and the property could use a little updating. The kitchen did not have dish towels, we had to purchase our own corkscrew and there is only 5 coffee mugs. The handle came off the back door when opening it (we were able to fix it) but could be a security concern. I would recommend bringing your own pillows because the ones there are flat. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others but at the price per night, one would expect it to have all of the necessary amenities and some upgrades.

Perfect for our family gathering for New Years House was great and who knew it would be 80 degrees and were able to enjoy the pool. We enjoyed our stay! Would love to come again.

The house and property were perfect for our family of 11 plus one toddler. The pier and dock were great for the fishermen and the short distance to New Orleans perfect for the ones wanting to explore. It worked well for us.

This house was an excellent home for 3 families to stay with adults and teens to stay. We had a family party under the house, and it was a great experience. Everyone loved the views and the newly built pool. Larry was extremely accessible before and during the stay. I would definitely stay here again.
