We enjoyed the month in this Slidell property. VERY quiet but near shopping, etc. Even caught some fish off the dock.

The house was amazing. Hard to beat having the canal in the back and lake Ponchartrain in the front. Excellent views from both front and back decks. Especially enjoyed watching all the Pelicans in the front of the house. Debbie was an amazing host with superior communication. Would definitely rent from her again.

Nice condo/townhouse on the lake. About 30 minutes out from New Orleans. My sons fished off the back dock. We enjoyed the amazing fireworks show all around the lake on New Year’s Eve.
Check in was incredibly easy and the owners were very accommodating due to a date change for our vacation.

It was in a good neighborhood and close to New Orleans.The check in was very easy. It needs a deep cleaning and furniture updated but other then the condo is good.

We loved the view of Lake Ponchetrain! The drive to New Orleans was very easy, about 30 minutes to the French Quarter. The house was very clean and looked just as the pictures.

We rented the house as a base to see everything in and around New Orleans. The house was perfectly located just out of New Orleans to save money. The house was clean and well layout. We were very happy with the accommodations.

Home Away From Home
This was our first time renting through a VRBO and our experience was wonderful and we cannot wait to return to this same location. The owners were amazing to work with and had everything you could possibly need to feel as if your still at home while on vacation. The pictures of Debbie's home do not do it justice! This is a beautiful home, in a great location. If you want to visit New Orleans, I would definitely suggest staying here. The commute is quick and easy. You can visit the city life in a few minutes, then return to a quiet, peaceful home for a relaxing stay. The house was so clean, and we felt right at home. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful home for a great get away!!

Work and play
I was in the area for work and found this gem of a place. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The home is roomy and clean.....the view is spectacular from both front and back decks.
I also played because my daughter and her family came for an extended weekend and we got to go into the city to enjoy the French Quarter, some shopping, went to City Park, and ate some good food.
The host was sooooo welcoming and available. She was in constant communication! We will definitely plan another stay!! Thank you!

Lovely, spacious lakehouse
Great views! Quite, safe neighborhood. Plenty of room for a large group. 2 bathrooms, 2 king-size beds & 1 queen-size bed. Everything clean & comfortable. It's very easy to reach & deal with the owner.
The only downside is STAIRS for older adults. You have to take stairs to get into the condo, then 2 of the bedrooms are above the kitchen & living room. Fortunately, the master bedroom is downstairs.
Access to the city is easy enough, and it will be even quicker once they get that darn bridge project complete!!!

Clean and Impressive.
Overall, the place was clean, and laid out well. As mentioned to us by the owners, understandably, some storm damage to the dock. Did not detract from our stay. Nice place. Would stay again.

Nice Getaway
We had a great time and Debbie was so helpful with restaurant ideas. The views were wonderful. I loved waking up each morning with my coffee watching the sunrise on the two decks. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in town!

The house was really nice, clean and the surrounding area of Slidell was awesome. Short drive to NOLA across the bridge. Debbie was amazing and so helpful! Definitely recommend a stay with Debbie!

Wonderful & Relaxing
We had a wonderful time. The condo is beautiful and spacious. We brought our flat boat and was able to launch it down at the end of the road at The Point ( I think that’s the name ).

Absolutely love this place & owner!
This was our second time staying here, and it was another great stay! Debbie makes checking in & out so simple. The condo is very clean and cozy! Whether you hangout on the front or back deck you get a great view either way! Nice quiet area yet it’s close to so much! The neighbors are polite friendly folks. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful & Peaceful
My daughter's birthday is in May and we started doing an annual girls trip with her friends and mine. This property is so comfortable with a beautiful view in the front or back. Debbie is a wonderful host and very hospitable. Quick to respond and truly cares that you are taken care of. The pictures do not do this property justice. It is so nice and spacious. Highly recommend 👍

A break away to Calmness
In my world of madness, I have worked and travel the entire pandemic providing safe and livable condition to low income families. I have been so stressed and I needed a break away. I had two deaths in my family and my son leaves soon for the Marine Corp. I have not been able to process anything mentally. I needed relaxation and calmness. This place was clean, peaceful, serene and perfect for me and my family. I wish I could have stayed longer!!! Good location!! Even though we didn’t catch any fish, I enjoyed my stay.

Waterfront Wonder
There's really not much better than waking up to a sunrise waterfront canal view, spending quality family time in a well-kept and coastally-decorated townhouse, and watching the sunset over the lake. The house was private, clean, and it had all of the amenities to keep our crew of kids and the adults happy. Wifi worked well, beds were comfortable, and communication with the owners was seamless.
We are so thankful that everything was just as lovely as described and we had a great time.
For reference- the king bedroom is downstairs and there are two bedrooms upstairs. Also, both bathrooms are huge and have double vanities.

Perfection!
This place was perfect! Location was perfect. Super clean. Pictures do it no justice! Just book here- you won’t be disappointed. We went with our 4 daughters and it was wonderful! We didn’t want to leave! The owners were very accommodating and super friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay in Slidell
Debbie was great at communicating and the house met our expectations. It has a nice view of the lake on one side and the canal on the backside. The location seems remote, but it is actuality fairly close to shopping in Slidell and a 30 minutes or so drive to New Orleans. This unit is one side of a duplex and the next door neighbors are not the neatest. That said, the house was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. It was a great value for my family of five.

Great stay in Slidell
We loved our stay on Lake Pontchartrain in Debbie's townhome. We were in Slidell for a wedding, so we didn't have much time to enjoy everything she had on the property. Debbie is a great hostess and gave me more than enough info to enjoy our time in Slidell/NOLA. Getting around Slidell is a breeze. The townhome has everything you'd need, and is bigger than what the photos show. Beds are comfy, and jetted tubs/showers are NICE. We had good weather, so I did have one morning where I could sit and enjoy the canal and a few boats going by. I hightly recommend staying in her home.

This property was very clean, great location and provided easy access to anywhere you needed to go. Fully furnished with EVERY essential one would need. We will be back!!!
