This was a perfect location for a family staycation. The house was walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Will definitely be coming back soon.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was perfect with an easy walk to the beach, local shops and pubs. The house had everything we needed for our stay which made it very homey. The screen porch was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning while enjoying the sunshine. The communication was outstanding and everything about the stay was just super easy and perfect!

Our host Dan was quick to respond and was super friendly. The house is in a great location that is within walking distance to bars, restaurant’s and a beautiful beach! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the screened in porch was a great gathering place for an evening drink or morning coffee. I would highly recommend this place for a fun vacation getaway.

We loved 1926 and would come back in a heartbeat. The house is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The screened in porch and outdoor shower are a huge plus. We enjoyed the access to the beach. Despite being very close to the heart of Deerfield Beach, it was very quiet. Dan’s communications were timely and detailed. Highly recommend!

The property is located in a good neighborhood, very close to restaurants and beach (walkable). The kitchen is equipped with all essentials and they also have several beach toys and chairs. However, we did not find the house very clean. There were several worms and lots of cockroaches !! The couches in the living room also need an upgrade.

We had an excellent stay at this property. It really had everything we needed! From beach carts to strollers to boogie boards, to all kitchen appliances and even spices, we really felt at home. The house is a 5 minute walk to the beach and pier, cute street and town and everything is really walkable. Highly recommended!

It was great having enough room for everyone, and a yard for the kids to play in, stores and places to eat were all so close it was great, we all in our group wanted to say thanks Dan for sharing your beautiful home !!

We were thrilled with the property, the location was so close to all the action including the beach. We walked out the door and in five minutes we were putting our feet on the sand. Everything was within walking distance.

My son and his 2 teenage friends and I stayed at your Deerfield Beach house. It was perfect. We each had our own beds and the house was perfect distance to the beach, so the boys were able to ride around on their skateboards and I could walk (even with injuries) to the beach because it was so close. The owner Dan is great! We stopped by to introduce himself, brought a new fan over when the one we had was broken and would text me through out the week to see if everything was good and if I was ok. Highly recommended!!!

The house was as advertised with the beach a 5-7 minute walk and plenty of restaurants and other shops nearby (3 ice cream parlors within walking distance!). The beach is great. The part of Deerfield Beach the beach is in is loud (see above), but the neighborhood where the house sits is quiet and peaceful. We flew in, so we didn't have a car, and the nearest supermarket was a mile away, but we were able to use the beach carts from the house to carry the groceries back and the kitchen is good enough to prepare almost every meal. Last note, I saw people write that they met Dan and he stopped by for a drink, etc. I may be weird, but I actually prefer to pretend its my house/cabin and NOT meet with Dan. He accommodated those wishes spectacularly and STILL responded to any question in less than 30 minutes on email. We had a really good week,

Proximity to the beach and restaurants/shops was excellent and easily walkable with young children in a stroller or walking themselves. The house itself was clean, had plenty of space, and the property manager was very responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Overall, we had a great time in our very short stay. The place was clean and cozy, but I really have to point out the fact that I needed to leave an hour right after checkout which is 10:00 am since my son needed to take a quick online quiz and at the same time, my toddler needed additional attention. I was willing to process additional payment for extra time since it was really imperative for my son to take his quiz. Instead, I received a negative response and a list of Checkout duties. I don’t disagreed on checkout procedures since we usually do much more than what’s asked. But since we are regulars on VRBO and other sites I never experienced such a cold answer. I felt the need to write my disappointment since traveling with little kids can get challenging sometimes. I am not sure if I’ll use this host again since we travel to South Florida every single month out of the year, but definitely require flexibility to check out at 11:00 am. Also, regular cable was not available and we ended up using our iPad with our Directv and other apps in the main bedroom. The living room has a Roku and Netflix. Overall, this is a cozy-small house which has everything needed from a mile distance to the beach. However, when traveling with kids, I feel a little bit of consideration is needed.

What a wonderful, relaxing time we had visiting with family at this amazing Deerfield home! The photos & description regarding the property were very accurate. Location was key for us as we have family who live just a street over so it was extremely convenient & we knew that walking around at the Deerfield Pier area was a plus. The fenced in back yard was a bonus as we have a senior blind dog who enjoyed being able to explore. Dan was very communicative through our stay and we even had the opportunity to meet he and his family. We would definitely recommend renting from Dan and hope to be able to enjoy time there again in 2022!

We enjoyed our Deerfield Beach getaway! The house was comfortable and clean and the location was spectacular. So close to shops, restaurants and the beach--just what we were looking for! And Dan is a great host too!

We rented Dan's place for a family holiday gathering and it served our needs perfectly. The location can't be beat and is only minutes from fun restaurants and the beach. We all slept and hung out very comfortably. Dan was a communicative and friendly host, and he even stopped by to say hello. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I booked this property through VRBO and the information about the property was comprehensive and the booking process was very easy. The pictures online represent the property well. The house was clean and laid out very well for our 6 adults. Very roomy and plenty of space for our group to spread out as well as host another 6 family members who came over to visit. The screened in porch also added to the space. Love that the master bedroom is secluded a bit from the rest of the bedrooms. Dan was very responsive in emails and phone calls. The location is a block from the beach and even closer to all the shops and restaurants of Deerfield Beach. Great location! The only thing we would have loved was better Florida weather for our dates of stay, but mother nature can't be controlled! Thanks for a comfortable stay. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a comfy place and close access to the beach.

As advertised, 2 blocks from the beach! Even my elderly mother could make the walk. House was clean with a beautiful screened patio and lovely manicured yard. Easy access to everything - Close enough to the interstate to not be inconvenient, and super close to the beach. Dan, the owner, was very attentive if we had questions or needed anything, and he even checked on us during the middle of our stay to be sure all was well. This was our first VRBO experience, and I'm sure we'll use it again. My only suggestion for this property would be to add a few items to the kitchen, and maybe a couple of additional towels. We had 5 adults staying, and there were only 4 coffee mugs and 4 bowls, but plenty of everything else. Great space in the bedrooms. We were in town for a wedding, and had many guests stopping by while we were there, and everyone commented how nice the house was and how fantastic the location was!

Location is key and this property has it! The property was very welcoming, with many amenities. We are a family of six adults and two small children and we were very comfortable, indoors and out. Dan is an accommodating host and very attentive. We did have a few issues but Dan was quick to respond and address them to the best of his ability. We would stay again.

This property had everything we needed. The kids loved the outside shower. The beds were comfortable. It is minutes from the beach, shopping, and eating.
