House was cute with a great location- super close to things and central to a lot! Kids loved the outdoor play area. Basement was wet and musty(2 bedroom down there). Upstairs bedrooms are hot. Loft ‘bedroom’ needs to have the right person to sleep there (must go thru another bedroom for access- not safe for children, ladder access only). Bedrooms are as follows: 1 queen upstairs, 1 double upstairs, queen in loft, 2 bunks basement, 1 double basement, tub shower in basement and standing shower upstair. Living, kitchen, dining area great open space to fit the whole family! House is 4 levels- basement, main living area, upstairs and loft.

Great family trip

Cons first: 1st floor is a lower level that is part basement. Everything was damp, the dehumidifier was overflowing and the hall carpet was soaking wet when we arrived. We had to continue to empty the dehumidifier for the whole week. There were no window fans, no AC, and no airflow on any of the floors. One of the sliders was taped up with black tape, and couldn’t be opened, and the rugs were full of stains. If my kids were little, I wouldn’t have let them play on the floor. The outside had cobwebs everywhere, unkempt piles of wood, and a broken cabinet to greet you when you first drive up. The outside lights were not working when we arrived. There is a junk pile under the deck, and very little outdoor seating on the deck or at the fire pit. The bath mat for the upstairs bathroom was sopping wet upon arrival, making us wonder if it had even been washed after the previous guests. This house has so much potential, but feels neglected. Definitely think the owner should be up front about the condition of the house, which would have at least given us an idea what to actually expect. The pros: the house has so much potential. Some TLC would make this place stunning. It has a well stocked kitchen, and TV, and is near everything you come to the white mountains for.

We had a great stay and we were happy that we could bring our dog on vacation with us! Chilly the first night so we were able to use indoor wood stove. Kitchen well equipped. Great location to everything the valley has to offer.

Tanya's property has everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The proximity to the lake cannot be beat. Can't wait to go back!

This place was perfect for our group of 8. Huge open space for living and kitchen area right onto a spacious deck. Can’t wait to come back here in the future

This is a cute house located just outside of town in a nice quiet wooded area and big yard. While not updated in a while, it had everything we needed. I would recommend updating the pictures of the bedrooms as they do not match up with the actual bedroom layouts. We hope to enjoy this house again in the future!

I booked fairly last minute because my son had surgery recently to repair a torn ACL and he was just cleared to snow board. We had a great time and it meant the world to my son to hit the slopes again and the extremely positive experience with the home we rented really added to a great week for him. I would book the same place again in a heartbeat. It was a very nice, clean place with easy check in and check out. I highly recommend it if you are looking to go to North Conway.

Location excellence. Lacking in kitchen equipment

We rented this place for our group of 2 families. Plenty of space for everyone with room to spare. Not the cleanest place in the world, but we’re low maintenance. Hard to beat the location and price. Would stay here again.

Great ski house for our family friends and chocolate lab ...kids had a blast

The location of this property is perfect and close enough to all of the shopping centers and food nearby, not to mention the view right up the road is phenomenal! The house itself was very clean and adorable! Only thing I would have to note is that in the pictures it seems to have two extra beds, when that is not the situation. There is a room with two bunkbeds (very tight), A bedroom across from that has one bed that could sleep two people, upstairs there is a room with a bed that could sleep two people, there is another room with one bed that can sleep up to two people, and a loft that could sleep two people! Even though there was enough room for my guests to double up, I feel that it is important to note that there is more than enough room for air mattresses and sleeping bags if that’s what you prefer! I highly recommend this location and will most likely be booking again sometime in the future :) Thank you for letting us stay!

I couldn't have asked for a better property to stay in for a weekend ski trip. Being right in North Conway made it perfect for those in the group who wished to go skiing, and even better for those who went shopping! My friends had an awesome stay and we would definitely rent this property again in the future.

During the past year not seeing my family this was a perfect trip. Location is great easy to get downtown take the Conway Railroad and Sleigh ride at Nestlenook Farm . We had 12 people with plenty of room and the home is very comfortable. The host Tanya was very responsive and made our stay more enjoyable . Thank you for sharing your home !

We were sorely disappointed and half of our party ended up leaving a day early. The property was not clean - damp basement was unusable due to the smell and had a full dehumidifier (and no mention of this situation or the need of the renter to maintain it - although they obviously know this is a situation), filthy carpets, cobwebs in the kitchen (including on the knife block), freezer was full of food debris - crumbs, dirt, junk. I have never left a bad review for a rental, but this was just unbelievable. They did not provide garbage bags, and made no note of needing to provide them ourselves. The lower level bathroom was unusable due to all of the lights being burnt out, leaving it too dark to be used. Multiple other bulbs around the cabin were also burned out. They wanted us to check out an hour earlier than the reservation and only offered a later checkout with the request of us leaving a good review. (Which I now wonder is how they have so many good reviews of a place that is so poorly maintained??) When I reached out about the unit being dirty and the lack of garbage bags, I had no response from the owner. The layout of the home is cute, and I hope the owners will seriously consider renovations and better practices to providing a clean environment for anyone who endeavors to stay here in the future.

What a great place. Location was perfect. The only thing I would do is change the wall to wall. With the high traffic I had coming and going I had my husband bring up rug cleaner and did a quick maintenance to those areas. But all and all I loved it. My bed was comfy I stayed on lower level. You can see all the changes happening to chalet. Hopefully new slider will go in on other side as we could of used the slight breeze on those few nights it blew.

The vacation was perfect! The location was perfect. There was plenty of room for all of us (8adults, 3 children ages 7, 4 & 1). There was a lot of privacy. Tanya was in contact all the way.

This location makes it easy to get to all of the places we wanted to visit during our stay. Once you learn your way around you can avoid some of the traffic on the main road. We love sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and sitting around the fire pit in the evening. Inside is comfortable .

Awesome outdoor space - playset is a plus if traveling with kids. Private and quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to downtown, outlets, Echo Lake and Cathedral Ledge hiking trails, etc... The cleaning woman was running late so we couldn't check in until an hour later. I was never provided with the code to get in, owner was unresponsive for almost 5 hours. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with VRBO waiting for someone to answer and then being bounced to other depts. Had to stay in a hotel Friday night and then went home because our weekend was ruined.

The chalet is great! It was very clean and cozy! There is plenty of room and the kids loved it! The large kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We used the indoor fireplace which was nice and toasty and the kids made s’mores in the outdoor fire pit. They loved playing in the kids clubhouse and having fun in the large yard. The house is in a great location and many shops, restaurants and place’s like Echo Lake and Cathedral Ledge are just a few minutes drive away. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location, location, location. The chalet met our family needs and more. There was a little something for everyone. The kids loved the playhouse and slide. So many stories shared around the fire pit and great family memories shared together! Thank you

poor maintaince/below what we expected from VBRO property awoke day two with no water..contacted property manager.by three pm still no one showed up to address situation contacted property manager and was told would give refund for remaining nights.We feel since a hotel was only alternative at this time.The convience of a home was why we chose VRBO not a hotel with its restrictions.We feel that a full refund should have been given.Were lucky to find hotel becaused we travel with our dog most have limited rooms available to accomadate a dog.Property manager knows the situation and conditions with which we left property and was ok with that.We understand the loose of water is no ones falt but it becomes a serious sanitation problem and very inconvient to have to pack up and move our group Another big hazard we found was having only one exit door and no air conditioning.Dehumidifier and pressure pump running constantly...William Lank
