This cabin is amazing! Perfect view and we loved the hot tub! It was a great time for me and my 3 adult daughters. Loved the log cabin feel and look as well. Highly recommend!!

First I need to say that Birgit was awesome. Communication from pre check-in all the way through our departure was outstanding. All our questions were quickly answered! The cabin itself is totally outstanding. It was incredibly clean, organized and warm! We had two couples and an teen and there was plenty of room for everyone. Beds and bedding were super comfortable. We loved being able to use the gas fireplace and the living room was really cozy, even though that place is way larger than you think! The kitchen is really nice and we enjoyed cooking there a few times. We even jumped in the hottub. Super fun! The views from the deck are really amazing as the cabin sits up high atop a mountain. My only recommendation to any lucky future guests of the cabin is just to take it easy going up to the cabin and down in to the driveway and you will be a-ok! To sum it all up: the place is really amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to call home while we were visiting. The location is right on the money as well. Less than 15 minutes to the airport and about that going up in to Asheville. Perfect! Thanks so much to Birgit and Tony!

We stayed in the cabin several days over Christmas break. We picked the cabin based on its location and size. We have family in the Arden and Asheville area, and despite knowing the area super well, we had no idea that there were areas like where the cabin is located with long range mountain views. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying our coffee and watching the sunrise. We stayed in the cabin with our four kids (ages 10-16) and two small dogs. We loved turning on the fireplace and watching movies in the family room. Two of our kids loved the hot tub. The house was also perfectly set up for the dogs because there is an area in the front that can be closed off for them to run without leashes. The cabin was the perfect size for us. The beds and linens were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including lots of countertop space. The family room and dining table easily sat all of us. The driveway is steep when you first pull in, and I can see how it could be intimidating, especially for someone not used to driving in the mountains. My husband and I drove separately, and it was easy for us to park two SUVs in the driveway.

Our family of 6 and a dog gathered for Thanksgiving! The memories made at this beautiful property will stay with us always! We mastered the drive and driveway to encounter the stunning views from the spacious deck! The welcoming gifts were unexpected and warmed our hearts. We all enjoyed the spacious living area and the fireplace was well used. Walking to the nature center and enjoying hikes was a daily occurrence and helped digest all the pies we ate. We appreciate the correspondence with Birgit and Tony, they have a beautiful property and we thank them for opening it to us!

The property was gorgeous, we loved that it was so dog friendly. Really, down to the poo bags, I left mine at home. I would absolutely rent this beautiful cabin again!! Thanks for having us, we had a great time!

What a great place to stay. All the comforts of home with lotsa space, comfy furniture, well equipped kitchen, electronics, books, starter supplies, fenced dog run, and even whimsical art, etc. My personal fav though is the stunning view from the sizable deck. It's clear the owners made a great choice in acquiring this property and show great effort in outfitting it for their enjoyment and that of others with whom they choose to share it.

We booked this mountain cabin for a short vacation with our adult daughters. We all really enjoyed staying here. The cabin is very clean & organized. There are towels provided for the sauna, so no need to pack them (I did). There are many games & puzzles to play & an incredible amount of great books too if you want to just relax on the back porch with incredible views. It was also nice to have hair dryers provided. This is such a good spot to venture out from. We visited downtown Asheville, The NC Arboretum (highly recommend), a couple of breweries, Linville cave & waterfall & Chimney Rock. It was nice to come back to this wonderful cabin after a day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend & would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin in Arden. The view was spectacular, even better than the photos. We were a short drive away from restaurants and attractions in Asheville, but we loved being at the cabin as much as being out and about. We would definitely come back to this place if we return to Asheville in the future.

Pictures didn't do this home justice. Furnishings were lovely and the views from the back deck were fantastic. Highly recommend this rental. Just be aware that if you plan to cook meals here, bring your spices with you. Only salt and pepper were provided. We had to buy olive oil and aluminum foil etc as well, which we left for the next guests. But otherwise, top rated stay for us!

This cabin had everything we needed including an awesome view!

Spent the weekend with family and friends from all over the US! The cabin was easy access from the airport and we were able to Uber downtown with no problems. Amazing views! We spent one whole day just enjoying the porch and hot tub. None of us wanted to leave! The cabin was also very pet friendly and my pup enjoyed his time as well. Thanks for a great weekend and we may have a reunion trip to this cabin one day!

My husband and I recently stayed in this perfect cabin along with our Pup. The reason we picked this cabin was all the wonderful reviews and the great pics!!! Needless to say, all the great reviews are spot on…it’s a clean beautiful cabin in a perfect location!! What we loved most…clean and comfortable (felt very at home), great view and spectacular sunrises!!! Nice yard space for our Pup, loved that the yard space and the back deck had gates, made it so nice for our pup!!! Loved having the nature preserve steps away….I walked it with my pup every day!!! Great hosts too!! We will be back!!!

Our family of 4 had a relaxing spring break at this cabin. The view and porch are amazing! The driveway is a bit steep but it was not a problem. All said, we loved the property and didn’t have any issues. We would definitely stay here again.

Prefect place for my family and my dog. Puppy just sat on the porch and enjoyed the view. Comfortable beds and furniture. The only thing i would mention is try not to arrive after dark bc the driveway sneaks up on you. We will definitely try to come back.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Royal Pines cabin. The cabin was clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. There is plenty of privacy and the location was convenient to getting around Asheville and the surrounding areas. The views from the deck are incredible and we enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountains in the mornings. Everything was as listed, or better, and we had absolutely no issues. The driveway is a bit intimidating at first but after navigating it one time and gaining confidence, it was not an issue. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

My wife and I spent four nights here to celebrate our anniversary. It was an absolutely incredible place. There is a lot of privacy, it was very clean, and it was set up specifically for guests. Even the lights were labeled. There’s a nature preserve only a few hundred feet past the house, which makes for a great hike without having to drive. On our first night, after we checked in and went out for dinner, we got a call from Birgit about a massive tree that fell from the neighbors house, blocking the road and the driveway. Birgit was on-site within 30 minutes, and after the city had cleared the road, she had a crew there within 30 minutes to clear the driveway. We appreciated the immediate response to the emergency! We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

The cabin was perfect! The view was perfect! The location was perfect! We will definitely go back! Again…it was perfect for us!!!

We love coming to Asheville near the mountains for a quick getaway and this place did not disappoint. Remarkable view, cozy, had everything we needed. Close to Asheville, grocery store and again great outdoor patio with a view. They were very welcoming with our pets and had gated in small grass area and deck. We would go back.

We enjoyed our stay so much, everything was exactly as expected and better! The best location with the best views! Can't wait to come back.

Myself and 3 other girlfriends in our 40s just stayed at Royal Pines and loved it. The views are spectacular, the place was very clean and I agree with another reviewer that it is better in person compared to the pictures. The views, log cabin feel, fireplace and hot tub were major selling points and did not disappoint. The location was convenient to the airport, downtown Asheville, Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway and anything else we wanted to do. Very private without being remote. The last mile or so to the cabin includes somewhat windy and narrow roads, but you get used to driving in the mountains quickly. We also had no issues getting an uber for an evening out downtown and we even had instacart deliver groceries our first day there. Bottom line- I highly recommend booking!

Amazing views, even from inside with all of the windows! Pictures do not do this place justice. Feels much more remote than it is but not far from anything you could need. Well equipped. Super clean. Great communication with owners who always kept us updated. My brothers and I took my mother to Asheville area to celebrate her 70th and had an amazing time. She was very happy that she could bring her dog and the cabin turned out to be very dog-friendly. We really enjoyed the openness of cabin and large table so everyone could visit and eat together. Even the art and decor is very cool. Another great feature is covered parking right at door to cabin. This was greatly appreciated as it did rain a little and turned out to be a little chilly for a day or two. Great cabin!! Thank you, thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at RoyalPines It was even nicer than the pictures and the view was beautiful. We took our dog with us and really loved the fact that the deck was fenced in and the yard was fenced in so she could hang out with us when we were enjoying the view.. The cabin was centrally located it was pretty close to all of the activities that we did. It was very peaceful and quiet and have lots of privacy. The day we arrived it was raining it was really nice to have covered parking to unpack . We would definitely recommend her staying here
