Enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean from the hot tub.

If you want to stay at a place with a great view, look no further. Upon approach the house looks wonderful and is surrounded by many plants and an epic tree to the left. Upon our arrival a neighbor greeted us and offered our kids some popsicles to enjoy in the hot tub, she was very pleasant and friendly. Ocean views from the kids room, the dining area and tv room. There is a good sides wooden deck and large garden filled with many succulents. My wife loved the garden and our family had aphotoshoot in the big tree. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the pantry had some useful items as well. The jacuzzi was on and ready but unfortunately we never got to use it as there were high winds. Downsides - bathroom ceiling is a bit low in areas including in front of the sink. If you're tall, approaching the sink from the side may be best. If you're short, the bathroom sink to be fairly high. Beware of ants, but hey living by the beach tends to come with the risk of ants. Keep a clean kitchen and airseal your open snacks, even then you will run across them. I wouldn't recommend sitting on the toilet before checking for ants or leaving toiletries exposed on the counter. There is spray in the pantry, which will come in handy. The bigest downside for us was that we werent aware of the ant problem until we ourselves had an ant problem.There are small traps throughout the house you will eventually come across as well, we just wished we knew ahead of time.

Kitchen could be more stocked with glasses one was chipped One champagne glass and one wine glass I usually bring what I need since you never know If you have more than two people could be a little cozy in the bathroom Overall it was beautiful weather and a great visit

Nothing as advertised. No power, no water, hot tub cold. No Wi-Fi. Very poor communication and no attempt to help or fix the problem while we were there. No offer for partial or full refund. We basically paid thousands of dollars to CAMP

I wanted to take some time before I wrote this review to accurately describe the property. The view from the deck is simply beautiful. House overlooks the ocean and its quite a feeling to wake up and see the ocean. However, the property management and property needs work and attention. The first issue we were greeted with was ants. Each morning the counters were covered with ants. We cleaned every day. More issues include cookware that was a hodge podge of goodwill level pans. The pans are in horrible shape, utensils were a mismatch of random items. We tried to cook eggs in the pans, but that was failure. The overall kitchen items were old, worn out and needed replacement. The overall kitchen needed some love, etc There was no aluminum foil, the spices were all out of date, salt of out stock, etc. We had planned to cook one item, but the kitchen was bare bones. The bedding in the master bedroom has spots of blood on the comforter. The blind in the master bedroom was broken and held held together with binder clips. You couldn't open the blinds in the master bedroom for light.We reached out to the property manager for towels as only 2 towels were provided. We had read a few reviews of a beeping noise. The management company had removed the smoke alarm. BEWARE. Overall, great views but the management/owner needs to remedy some of the problems. We reached out afterwards and they said never been brought up before. Property owners seem cheap and don't care about issues.

Unobstructed ocean views and sounds. Very private but very convenient to Bodega town amenities. And hot tub....

We loved this property! The pictures can’t do the view justice! There’s nothing like watching the surf and sunset from a spa, a balcony or comfortable sofa! We so enjoyed the layout of the cottage and all the amenities. We have to mention Meg, the neighbor who welcomed us so sweetly with a homemade treat! She was so friendly and helpful and added to the enjoyment of our stay! We will definitely be coming back!

What an absolutely sublime coastal property the Fox Kit Cottage is! Immediately we wished we’d booked at least 3 nights because two full days at minimum is a must. The cottage felt more like a small home in that it was spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we didn’t need to purpose half the items we brought along (such as pots, measuring cups, etc.). A delight to prepare meals in, truly! On top of the thoughtful kitchen was the comfortable bedding. My mom had the master bedroom as she’s recovering from knee replacement surgery. She loved her bedroom and cozy queen bed. I was in the second bedroom on the bottom bunk. What a restful little room with its high-quality foam mattress and window ocean views to wake up and gaze upon. I was impressed. The living furnishings were all comfortable too and the home was pristinely clean. I have rented many homes globally and this by far supplied the most “livable” and versatile furniture (plus plenty of toiletries and other conveniences like paper towels and tissues). Fabulous and considerably sized bare wood dining table too. Loved it! And of course, the cheery on top was the impeccable, unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean, in all its magnificence. Taking it in from the amply sized hot tub was an enormous bonus too. We spent a lot of time soaking, and it did wonders for my mom’s healing knee. What's more, check-in and check-out was a piece of cake!

This cute little house was so amazung to stay at. We were only there 2 nights and wished we could have been there longer. The view from the hot tub was so incredibly beautiful at sunset and so relaxing. We will deffinetly be going back at some point.

Ocean air, clean well appointed place, comfortable beds, incredible views, beach walks, sweet neighbors and a magical Monterey pine made this a perfect place for a restorative stay. Nature put on a five star performance as well; we enjoyed sunrises, sunsets, beautiful days and cozy nights. We also loved exploring Bodega Bay and enjoying the fresh seafood.

My husband and I stay in multiple oceanfront properties every year all up and down the CA coastline. Fox Kit is one of the most stunning views we have had from our deck. The rugged rocks below make for some pretty spectacular crashing waves and, overall, the property is very private and peaceful. As other reviews have stated the ceiling in the bathroom is low but, even though we are both tall, it really wasn't a big deal and in no way detracts from what a great place this cottage is...inside and out!

The location is wonderful! Great view of the ocean. The TV was not working properly but the crashing waves were non-stop.

Really wonderful! Just be aware that the power goes out due to weather conditions. It is nice if you are looking for an escape from the bustle of life.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and charming, with many thoughtful touches, and the view is spectacular. Unfortunately, we weren't clear that the bathroom is pretty far from the master bedroom, and is a bit cramped. Also, the master bedroom is pretty dark.

This charming little beach cottage was the perfect place for my husband and I to relax and unwind for our post-wedding mini-moon. The property was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, and the views from the patio and hot tub were absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back for our next stay-cation!

What a beautiful home with all the amenities you would need for your stay. The house was newly remodeled, which made it very comfortable for my family with two kids ranging in age from 3 - 12. The deck with a hot tub overlooking Wright Beach was a great way to enjoy the sunset. I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the bustle of Bodega Bay during a holiday weekend. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great stay at Fox Kit Cottage! The view(s) is incredible even when it's cloudy. We got to see 2 amazing sunsets from the hot tub while we were there. The cottage was spacious enough for our family of 4. Overall location is excellent. We went into Bodega Bay multiple times and up to Armstrong Woods another day. Plenty to do nearby or if you just want to relax and look at the view this is the place to be!

Charming small home with spectacular views and gorgeous garden/landscape. On a quiet street just off the main scenic highway. A wonderful place to relax.

This place was such a gem. Location could not have been better. 10 minutes into town, just far enough out for a very peaceful stay. Neighbors were so nice. Deck with hot tub overlooking the ocean. Succulent gardens, bending trees, evening whale watching from the deck. Very close to Wrights beach if you want to put your toes in the stand or just fix a cocktail and observe and people watch from the deck or hot tub. Would recommend highly for a quick getaway, anniversary, birthday or just a girls weekend away!

The view and location were AMAZING! I have never stayed anywhere with a more scenic and gorgeous view of the beach. The hot tub was fantastic as well. The beds and couches were all very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Would highly recommend!

This was our second time booking this home, and we loved it the first time but unfortunately, as soon as we entered, there was a beeping noise the entire time. I met the neighbor next-door, and the neighbor was going to reach out to the homeowner and we also reached out to property management. The property manager was supposed to send someone out but unfortunately the beeping continued our entire stay for three days. If it wasn’t for the beeping, this place would have been perfect! Sitting in the spa and looking up at the stars at night time was absolutely grand. The location of the place with those amazing sun sets on the ocean, morning coffee on the porch hearing the waves crash was spectacular! If property management could fix that beeping, and or send someone out in a timely manner to fix some thing, this place is highly recommend

-Weather was ok and the hot tub was a + high winds on our last night :( -Only 2 bath robes and there were 4 of us :( -Wished that there was a Tv in the bedrooms There was an annoying beeping noise coming from the water meter outside. It could be heard all the was in the bathroom and tv area. Non-stop.
