This place was the perfect little getaway!! The fireplace outside is beautiful even in the early evenings, and makes for some stunning pictures. The check in process was super convenient and Connie made it very easy to get to directions wise. Will definitely have to check this place out in the summer months!

Fall vacation in this property was great, enough space for everyone, plenty of blankets and kitchen very well equipped. great property if you want to enjoy some peace, quiet & nature.

Great place for a weekend getaway with family!

We loved the porch and spend most of our time there! The porch table was great for eating and playing games! You cannot see much of the lake from the house and the walk from the lake to the house is a really steep climb! Because of that, we only went to the lake to get on the pontoon. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms which was great! The fire pit area is really nice too! We had a great time there!

We rent at Lake Hartwell frequently. This was one of my favorite places. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. The back porch is giant and perfect for dining with a large crew. Having 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms is another a common find so that was awesome. And the fire pit was a nice bonus. Everything was clean and the host were quick to answer questions. In full transparency, the house is not ideal for elderly guests or your super bougie friends. I will definitely rent again with my friends (who were the guests this time) but for our family with the grandparents we will unfortunately pay a premium for easier lane access. There is sidewalk all the way to the dock but it is fairly steep and without steps for a portion that my elderly relatives would not be able to negotiate. Those with youthful legs and lungs will have no issue though! 5 stars ⭐️ especially for the price!!

Had fun lakeside on the dock with our grown kids and grandbaby. Lower level family room was a great place for us to hangout, bedrooms were roomy. Spent a day at Clemson, a rainy day indoors with games and conversation and a day on the lake. Good times! Owner very responsive and helpful with questions!!!

Six of us and pets (all adults) stayed 5 nights mid-July. We cooked all our meals there, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We always ate on the back deck & spent a good amount of time there as well. Although it was hot & humid, we managed to enjoy the fire pit a couple of nights. Everything we needed was there except dishwashing liquid & extra toilet paper. Overall it was a good stay. Don't forget mosquito spray, you will need it!

We had an amazing time at our stay! The layout was perfect for our 3 families with ample bathrooms and perfect bedroom space. The bunk room for the kids was awesome. Our favorite part by far was the covered back deck that we ate meals at, lounged, played games and watched a couple summer rain storms from. The fire pit is very large and plenty of seats for everyone. The path does have a slope but is very common for lake front homes. We had our boat and two jet skis at the dock plus a big lounge float and had plenty of space! The host was very accommodating and ensured we had an amazing stay. Thank you again!

Beautiful cabin on lake. Kitchen had Everything you could need. Great location many things to do near by. Make sure you check out the Pretty Place. It’s amazing. If you have kids Lake Hartwell wild life Safari. Kids will love it ( adults too).

House is very spacious and well equipped. Fire pit was great in the evening and screened in porch great for coffe in the mornings and meals. The walk back to the house from the lake is “not for the weak”. A quote from my 14 year old. It is a small workout but totally worth it.

Property rustic on the outside but lots of modern touches on the inside. Steep walkway to the lake. Parking a little crowded due to owners boat blocking spaces. Overall our family had a good time.

Lovely house with pretty view and great fire pit.

We had booked this property for a wedding close by. We had two families staying, 7 in total. The property was a perfect fit- in fact it has two levels, both with a kitchen/kitchenette, so one family stayed on one level and the other on one but could get together for meals and socializing. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots and pans etc. and was updated. We used the fire pit, the kayak and the dock. It is cabinlike and had a lot of charm (just like what you see in the photos). The hostess answered all my questions, was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout, and our check in and out processes were very easy. I would just warn that the walk to the dock is steep but my husband with hip issues was still able to get to and from. Highly recommend!

Overall, we had a great experience. The space was highly accommodating for out large family and we had space to spare. House was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. A grocery store was close by. Only downfall was the rain but we still had a good time.

This cabin was perfect for us, well stocked with necessities and beautiful view of the lake. The dock was so great to have and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the swimming. Connie was great and replied quickly to us when needed. We will definitely be back!

Place was clean and stocked with essentials. Porch was great place to hang out on hot summer days. Everyone had own bathroom and bedroom. Steep walk back from dock, but got easier as got used to it. The water at the doc is excellent, boat is easily docked. We rented from Harbor Light Marina per Connie's recommendation. Connie was an excellent host and kept us informed.

Great house - Spent 4 nights, rented a boat, fished, tubed and had a great time with the kids and family members. Owners were super accommodating and even comped us a night because the washing machine had a malfunction on the day we arrived. With four bedrooms and four baths, we had more room than needed. Location was super convenient for us - exactly one hour from our home made it easy to run back home if needed. Will definitely consider staying again,

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and the lake was beautiful.

Property was fantastic! As mentioned in other reviews, the hill is rather steep to get down to the dock. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils. House was clean. The fire pit was our favorite part! We made lots of s’mores! The grill was stocked with propane, we enjoyed grilling burgers and hot dogs. Would definitely recommend!

The experience and overall stay at the cabin was amazing! The rooms were big plenty of space to move around! The porch and fire pit was the best for our family! We sat around the fire pit every night while burning a fire and spent some much needed family time together! The dock and lake were awesome! The cove had beautiful views! The only con that our family didn’t like was the hill going down to the lake! It was a very steep hill and very taxing on the body to climb up and down a few times! Other than that we would definitely stay again!
