Easy walk to pools and beach. (Loved the “over 21” serenity pool!) Super clean, no need to bring paper products or cleaning supplies. I love the underground parking and the easy access to the elevator. There are lots of luggage carts by the elevator. Each bedroom has its own furnished balcony…so nice! Notes: 1. Once you’ve checked in and received your property pass, enter into your GPS, “Villamare Resort”. It will take you right where you need to be. After the guard house, go over one bridge, then take the 1st LEFT into the property. 2. The coffee maker is a Mr Coffee brand, so you need flat-bottomed filters. (She has plenty, no need to actually bring those.) There is also a Keurig. 3. The washing machine is noisy, best to run it when you’re away. Dishwasher is quiet. 4. Because you’re on the 2nd floor, you’re closer to loud vehicles (like landscapers and trash pickup, which pass by now and then)

We really enjoyed our time at this property and were very pleased with the location. It was a perfect setup for our family of 4 including having a separate bedroom and bathroom for our teenagers. Awesome place and we will certainly be back!

Easy walk to beach and nice room

This is our second time staying in this condo, and we will be staying here again! It is the perfect location! Best location to the beach and pool. Also, the resort area offers so much to do you do not have to go far. My only critique would be the decor could use a little updating, but it is SO CLEAN we don’t mind it at all. Honestly one of the cleanest condos we have ever stayed in. If you want everything close and convenient this is the best place to stay! Plus the management is easy to work with and provides you all the information you need for your stay!

The stay was excellent. The property was in a well-maintained condo complex and the owner was great (answered questions, took care of stocking many items I thought I would need to bring). Great first time visit to Hilton Head island. We would definitely go back again.

All cleaning, linens, and kitchen items needed were on site which was such a nice touch. We only needed to buy food and enjoy our stay. Wendy was quick & easy to get in touch with for any question! Our family had a wonderful time!

Our family had an amazing fantastic beach vacation! The condo is beautifully decorated, up to date and so comfortable. My adult children and my grandchild loved every minute of our stay. Such an easy walk to the pool (which also includes a baby/toddler pool) and so close to the beautiful beach. Everything was easy and comfortable. We are excited to come back again. The owner was easy to communicate with and had a welcome basket waiting when we walked into the condo. Thank you so much for a wonderful family week!

The condo was exactly as described..plenty of room for us, very clean and kept up and well stocked with supplies. An easy short walk to the beach and a wonderful pool and fitness area. We will definitely be back!

We booked this condo for a week because my brother-in-law and myself were volunteering for the PGA tournament in town. It was perfect for us and our spouses. The booking process was seamless and easy and everything noted in the listing was accurate. This condo was well stocked with all of the necessities that you need which is unusual for most of the rentals I’ve booked before. We usually bring extras and it turns out we never needed to. The beds were comfortsble, plentiful parking and the grounds were immaculate. The pool was fantastic and plenty of chairs for everyone. We would definitely book this condo again

Our property lady was over the top with everything from begin to end. The condo was very good with all things needed without paying for items ourselves. Will go back again!!!!

Took my wife and three girls to this condo for a week. The place was very inviting and private. The ocean was really close. Had a very nice time and will go back in the future.

This was our best Hilton Head rental yet! The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and the pool was wonderful! We really enjoyed being able to walk or bike to the cutest General Store in the area. It had everything you needed so you didn’t even have to leave the property if you didn’t want to! Overall best place to stay in Hilton Head in our opinion! We are already looking to reserve for our annual family vacation back next year!

All good, although doors to master bed could provide more privacy if door curtains were none see through.

this Condo was extremely clean and updated--including the Mattresses. The entire Villamare complex is Oceanfront--but this particular Unit does not have an Ocean view--and that should be removed from the listing.

This was one of the nicest places we've stayed at in Hilton Head. Everybody thought it was great. We would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in this Palmetto Dunes villa. The process of renting and checking in was easy. The property was very clean and was represented well in the photos. The beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed for the stay including kitchen items, coffee, dish tabs and even sandwich bags! We did have an issue with the washer dryer combo not drying clothes and the owner was very responsive and offered options as a technician could not come until our last day. We understand that sometimes things break and based on her responsiveness and the well-maintained property, we would definitely rent from her again.

This was our first visit to Hilton Head. The property owner was so helpful, timely in responding, and the place was perfect. The added touch of having everything there was great (soap, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc, 4 backpack beach chairs).. The layout was great for my family. We had 2 friends visit us for one night so they took the king bedroom and my family of 4 took the other bedroom. Then after they left my husband and I moved over to the king bedroom and my teens each got their own bed in the other room. This condo is plenty big. We played cards, cooked dinner, watched movies. On the 3rd floor and a short walk to the pool or beach. We didn’t use the deck much, it was cold most of our trip and there is not an ocean view. We loved the pond with all the turtles - my teens spent lots of time watching them swim around. We never used the indoor pool but we did use the workout facilities - just know there are some classes during which you aren’t allowed to use equipment. We liked how close Villamare is to The General Store - we biked up there a few times for candy, breakfast sandwiches, beer… The pool was clean, nice and big. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. I loved that there was a large deck away from the pool too to enjoy my book or a visit with my kids. Would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

Condo was very well stocked with lots of dishes and extras that they did not have to supply. The one thing I would add is a regular size muffin pan. Know that no matter how many times you run the dryer you can’t seem to get towels dry. Also I thought it had an ocean view I could not see the ocean. More parking lot than anything but the palm trees helped make it a little nicer. Again Condo was very well stocked and was clean and owner was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

10/10 would stay with at this property and same condo again. Great set up and really nice interior. All of my friends had fun. Can’t wait to come back

Good except

This is the nicest property we have stayed at in many years. Probably ever in Hilton Head. And, we've coming to the island for more than 30 years. Our contact with the owner was exceptional. She was very helpful and quickly replied to our calls, text and emails. The unit was well appointed with good beds. It had many, many extras like coffee, cleaning supplies and many other items. We highly recommend this unit and. We also would recommend the owner for real estate rentals and sales/purchases. She is wonderful. We will return.

Villa mare complex was beautiful. The pool and close access to the beach made for a relaxing time. The condo was updated and clean. Very comfortable and felt like home.

Very comfortable condo. Plenty of living and bedroom space. Host provided amenities were so nice! Kitchen fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, glass and tableware. Love the easy beach access. Pool nice retreat from the beach.

Beautiful condo. Very clean. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you may need. Very impressed. We were very disappointed in the location of the condo. No ocean view, or ocean front. Many trees, other buildings obstructing the view. Elevator did not work 2 out of the 7 day stay. Frustration on move out day.
