This was our second time staying here. It was the perfect place for us to gather and get caught up for a couple of days.

Fantastic! The House was very comfortable - six adults - and spacious. Some had to work one day, and all found great space to set up. The location is awesome - a very charming area and an easy walk to everything in Lenox. We were here for a wedding but still had time to enjoy several of the Lenox eateries and shops. Wish we had planed to spend more time. The area is beautiful and offers plenty to do.

Walking distance to town, plenty of both sleeping and hangout space for our family of 8. Cozy, tastefully appointed home. Would highly recommend!

Great location and a lovely old home in our favorite town of Lenox. But after one sleepless night we could not stay there as the heat was unbearable. There were fans in every room but with the heat wave it just blew the hot air around. This is probably only an issue in July and August. Thousands of dollars paid for a one week rental down the drain.

We had an incredible stay for the second time at this beautiful home, very conveniently located to the restaurants and shops of Lenox and the Tanglewood grounds. Would highly recommend this home!

This is a truly handsome home in an excellent location, a few minutes walk from Lenox center and easy ride to Tanglewood and Kripalu. Carol is a gracious and welcoming owner. This is a large, comfortable home, with spacious kitchen, dining room, two living rooms areas, bathroom, and wrap around porch on the first floor and five bedrooms, with a full bathroom, including a large masterbedroom with its own double-sinked bathroom and jacuzi. The outdoor grounds and patio are lovely. This is our second stay at this home and we would be delighted to return again.

Was exactly as described in listing. Worked perfectly for family wedding weekend at Tanglewood. Walked into town and to a hike in Kennedy Park. Wish we had time to do some reading as fantastic book selection.

We had a lovely white Christmas here. Carol was very responsive and when we had some issues with the heat in one room she got it resolved right away. Wonderfully cozy home and we enjoyed walking into town (even in the cold and snowy conditions).

The house is spacious and comfortably accommodated 7 adults. Plenty of lovely spaces to socialize inside, and outside. The host was very gracious, and lots of attention to detail around short term guest needs. Fantastic location only a short stroll downtown. We all truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Some of the doors needs some adjustments as the doors did not close. The rooms were comfortable and there were plenty of towels Beautiful Catholic church just down the street- worth taking a look at it.

We walked into town for dinner and ice cream, and it was just a quick ride away from Tanglewood where we spent a lot of time. Carol was so welcoming and communicative with us. We were a group of 6 longtime friends looking to reconnect and recharge. We chose Village View because of its superb proximity to live performances at Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, Shakespeare & Co., and historic Gilded Age sites like Naumkeag, Chesterwood, The Mount. Carol, the owner, was an excellent host. We appreciated the care she took of us, and the exquisite decorating of Village View. The house was PERFECT! We hope to make annual pilgrimages to Lenox, and will seek to stay at Village View!

Carol's Lenox home is very handsome, spacious, beautifully appointed, with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, five very comfortable bedrooms, three baths. It is located on a quiet residential street, a six-seven minute walk to downtown Lenox, and less than ten minute drive to Tanglewood and Kripalu. Carol is excellent - very responsive, flexible, friendly, and kind. Our group of five adults would be delighted to return in the future.

Five long time friends ventured out for a weekend in the Berkshires. Our thought was that this house would be a "landing spot" between Tanglewood, shopping, exploring and other adventures. What happened was amazing...............this house became the focus of the weekend. We enjoyed the three porches, the multiple spots in the home to gather or to read a book and the overall ambiance of this wonderful home. It is decorated beautifully but even more importat, it has so much charm and a cozy feeling throughout. The kitchen is the best equipped I have ever been in and the overall experience was outstanding. The only downside was we didn't have enough time. This is a rental you are not going to want to miss. Many thanks to our gracious hostess.

We stayed at Carol's charming home while in Lenox for a wedding, and we only wish we got to stay longer!

Lovely host and great stay in a house a block or two from all the shops and restaurants of Lenox. Would come again for sure.

I stayed here for a family girls weekend get away. The location of the house is great, short walk down a hill to Town. There are a lot of great rooms in the house to hang out as a group and a big round dining table that fit us all. Note that there is only three parking spots but options in Town for public parking, which we easily utilized. The beds were not very comfortable and I would say that was the only downfall for us but definitely not a deal breaker. Also, there wasn't a lot of hot water so showers needed to be spaced out. The Owner was responsive though with any questions we had and overall enjoyed our stay very much.

If you have a chance quickly sign up for this house right in the center of Lenox. Perfect location. Charming old house with tons of rooms and ample space for our getaway with friends. Everything was great.

Walkable to downtown Lenox perfect for a visit!

2 families rented this home for a ski wknd. Owner great to work with and responsive. Close enough to Ski Butternut/Great Barrington. An inviting home. Clean. Owner had fireplace ready for us...just had to strike a match! This was a particularly nice touch and first time we've experienced that. Overall, great stay. Only positive things to say.

8 friends and family stayed over New Years weekend. We enjoyed a lovely low key evening in a BEAUTFUL house. We loved being able to go biking in Kennedy park, using the grill, being able to hang out in all the sitting rooms. It was honestly such a beautiful house in a wonderful location. Would definitely recommend this home.
