I came down for a conference and brought my family along to enjoy Virginia Beach and this beach house was the PERFECT choice! We absolutely loved the North End—it’s a quieter neighborhood and just steps from the beach. If we could have stayed longer, we definitely would have! The peaceful location was ideal for unwinding after busy days. We enjoyed the rooftop deck, which offered breathtaking views of both sunrises and sunsets. It quickly became our favorite spot to gather and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. The house itself was fantastic—immaculately clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The thoughtful touches made it feel like a true home away from home, and the indoor grill, multiple decks, AND the elevator added even more to our enjoyment. David and Sheila were exceptional hosts. Their communication was prompt, always ensuring our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their attention to detail truly stood out. You will NOT be disappointed with this beautiful beach house! We LOVED our time here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The owners have gone out of their way to ensure guests feel at home right away. Fantastic communication leading up to and throughout our stay. Beach carts, chairs, umbrellas, garage fridge, baby gates, sheets & towels, every kitchen item you could need, as well lots of labels on switches, appliances, and remotes. Everything combined to let us settle in immediately. The home’s layout is perfect. We had our group of four every night, and a total of eight a few nights (including some small children). Local friends and family dropped by during the days (steps from the beach!), and we enjoyed the rooftop deck stargazing and breeze. Short drives to Lynnhaven Inlet or Rudee Inlet. First Landing State Park is almost across the street. Great week made easy by perfect hosts! We hope to stay again.

Our family (8 adults plus infant) stayed here to be close to a weekend wedding at the nearby Windham Hotel. The house was very accommodating for our party and was both spectacular as well as comfortable. There were so many extraordinary features: the elevator made move-in and move-out easier than we’ve ever had; the roof-top deck was relaxing and spectacular; the rooms were quiet, private and very comfortable; the kitchen had every imaginable appliance and the family/dining room/kitchen continuity made it easy for family to gather during food preparation and meals; the numerous works of art were an added visual joy and interest; the baby and children’s items made it much easier to include or monitor our 1-year old. We only were able to make one extended trip to the beach (due to weather) but there was an ample supply of beach chairs, towels, carts and umbrellas as well as a convenient outdoor shower. Parking was simple especially for this area of beach houses, condos and narrow streets. The only difficulty we encountered was operation of the numerous light switches, whose combination of off/on and dimming capacity challenged even some of the PhDs in our group. Even though the house was everything we wanted, the hosts were an even better part of the visit: Dave and Sheila were so friendly, accommodating, responsive and engaging that we felt more like invited guests than lodgers. We definitely plan to return here again when we can.

We had a wonderful stay. Very responsive and welcoming hosts met us for check in. Despite the many options to dine out, we made all of our meals in the home and there were ample cookware and utensils to facilitate meal preparation. The location and access to the beach was great. This home is well taken care of and extremely clean! It has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, glassware, baking supplies, cookware and gadgets. They provide more than enough towels/ beach towels. The garage is full of boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, 2 beach carts, coolers for the beach and loads of beach toys. The owners of this home are a pleasure to deal with! This was our second stay and we will be back!

Our family had an awesome time in Virginia Beach! The house was everything that the listing said it was and more! David and Sheila were excellent hosts, very accommodating and always available to answer questions. The house was exceptionally clean and was well stocked with everything we needed. Beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, beach carts, as well as beach towels, bath towels and all bed linens were provided. The kitchen was well stocked including kitchen linens, garbage bags, dish and dishwasher detergents. All these extras are a Hugh help when packing for vacation. The house is just a few feet away from the beach access… no busy road to cross.. an easy walk. I can’t say enough good things about our hosts and their attention to detail. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful vacation at this lovely beach house! It was perfectly appointed, spotless and the location was just perfect. The home is beautiful - spacious, clean as a whistle and well furnished. The owners have literally thought of every last little detail that a renter could need! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc., the host provided beach chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards, and the bathrooms have plenty of clean towels, soap, etc. We all slept amazing on the comfy beds with super soft sheets! It is just a quick 1 minute walk to the beach and the little neighborhood was so cute - perfect for morning stroll and close enough to walk to a few restaurants. All of us had such a fun time! We can't wait to go back next year!

This home in Virginia Beach is steps away from the beautiful North End. It is just north of the more commercial area. Some days we walked, some days we drove, and some days took the trolley to go parasailing, visit the aquarium or play in the many beach actovities. The home is remarkable. All the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. There ismore than enough places to stow your belongings. It is beautifully decorated and clean. The elevator was great for bringing in supplies and luggage. Our group was adults from 30 to 65 and children from 4 to 10. What was amazing is that the house is equipped with activities, toys games and dvds that suited everyone. The house also has everything you need for the beach - toys, carts, coolers and chairs. There was literally nothing we needed. Best of all are the hosts, who have thought of every question you might have, and have the answers literally exactly where you need them. These lovely people give you their cell number, and text a check in to be sure all is well. They could not be nicer or more accommodating. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay here. Wonderful for kids, adults and any combination.
