This is our 2nd time back the Tiki House. Everything about this place is awesome. Location to town, Hanalei Bay Beach, hiking. We have fallen in love with town. We will definitely be renting again next year. Communication is great and the place is very clean. They have bikes and tons of beach gear to make the trip extra nice.

We love this house. Obviously there are critters. Carpenter bees, roaches and some critter in the north west corner of the kitchen island that was leaving a dark dust on the floor. Those concerns are more for the owners because we wouldn’t want anything to destroy this house. Hope to come back often.

My wife and I stayed here with our parents. This house is unique architecturally and a pure delight. The location is perfect with close, walkable beach access as well as access to shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommend!

The house was larger than expected. We had two kids under three and there were expandable gates for the top of stairs. Bikes were a plus for the small town of Hanalei. The kitchen was well outfitted with quality equipment. The house was warm, but fans helped. We would highly recommend house shoes as a must. Those floors are hard! We throughly enjoyed the stay (and our daily visits from the birds, thanks to the birdseed provided).

We did a one week stay with our kids and grandkids. The house is unique and the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many! Very good for cooking, dining, and lounging. Lots of bikes and a short ride or walk to beach. Perfect!

Beautiful home with massive living/dining/ family room space. Well equipped kitchen. Short walk to beach. Short walk to town. Bring earplugs for roosters. Lack of AC might be an issue for some. Many many fans works just fine for us.

Amazingly close proximity to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. Quiet neighborhood, well stocked home with beach and kitchen items. Wonderful for the whole family (4 adults, 2 kids). Thank you for the offering! Kind and responsive owners. Mahalo!!!

A space for everyone in the group. This home was perfect for the whole family to spread out. The bedrooms are on the first floor to allow late sleepers to enjoy extra time while the early risers can make coffee and enjoy listening to all the wild life. The view from the kitchen window is stunning. We loved the use of the bikes to be able to ride down to the beach access or take them to town just a few minutes away. We all fell in love with Hanalei Bay. Communication was great throughout the whole process.

Perfect location and great owner. First time to Kauai for our family of 7. Hanalei was a so peaceful and the Tiki house fits in perfectly with the vibe of the town. Definitely will make another trip.

Kauai is our favorite place to be and particularly Hanalei Bay. This property was in a perfect location about a block or two from the beach and a few blocks from the town . Plenty of bikes available makes for a very fun trip. We used the bikes everyday ride to town got shaved ice from our favorite wishing well. This house is incredible ! So much room we were there with 4 of our kids and could have had another family there - if that was allowed.the max guests allowed us 8. My only criticism was the price the -fees , the cleaning and taxes made the house over $1500 per night - it’s just how it is Kauai is expensive ! we splurged on the house and felt very grateful to wake up in that space . The 360 views from the living room windows are amazing !

The house was great for our family. It was open and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Location was amazing. We walked to town and the beach every day. Communication was responsive with the owner. We loved the play and plan on returning!

This property exceeded our expectations! The home is absolutely beautiful as well as comfortable. The location couldn’t be better being within walking distance of town as well as the beach. Of all the rentals I’ve ever stayed in, this home didn’t lack for anything in terms of amenities.

Very comfortable stay in a great location. Loved the beach cruisers and laid back vibe of everything. We never wanted to leave!

This house is great. There were seven of us. Accommodated our needs very well. Beautiful place in a prime location. Very quiet setting. Very peaceful. Great deck for outside dining and BBQ. Very short walk to the beach. Only issue was the garbage disposal stopped working a couple days into the week, but we just unplugged it. Hopefully will be up and running for the next guests. Very well organized kitchen other than that. I’d return.

We stayed at the Tiki House for 10 days. It was outstanding. My wife and I brought our children and their significant others, so it was a fairly large group (7 adults). The Tiki House was perfect. There was room for everyone. The upstairs area is huge. It allowed the group to break off into smaller groups and we didn't feel on top of each other. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the property had all the necessary accommodations. From a location standpoint, it could be better. It is close to the beach, and walking distance to everything in town. We would get up in the morning and walk into town for coffee and breakfast. After a day of touring or hanging out at the beach, we would clean up and walk into town for dinner. This was extremely convenient. We absolutely loved the property and would return again. Thank you Greg for your prompt response to our questions and being a gracious host!

We loved every minute here and wished we could have stayed longer. We used the bikes each day to head down to sunset in Hanalei Bay and cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen. Hope to return!!!

The Tiki House is absolutely charming in every way!! Six of us stayed very comfortably in this incredible home. The amenities are outstanding, bikes, beach chairs, towels, umbrella, surf board, boogie board, bird food, ceiling fans....the kitchen was well Appointed for home Cooked meals as well. We had a magical time at The Tiki Home ✨🌈😎✨ We will be looking forward to our next trip and would definitely want to stay at The Tiki Home again and again!!! Mahalo Greg!!

This is the perfect home in the perfect relocation to enjoy the north shore. Steps from Hanalei bay and from town. Truly the best place we have stayed on Kauai. Worth every single penny.

Our grandkids dubbed the upstairs room 'the tree house' as there is nothing to obstruct your view of the trees. This room was large enough for everyone (10 of us) to have our own space. We had people curled up on couches reading, a puzzle going, cooking in the kitchen, and a baby crawling. The table in the center of the room was perfect for our family dinners. Greg has done a lovely job of making the space comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. We would happily come back to this home!

Great location. Within walking distance town and beach. Lots of room in the house. Everything worked. Wi-Fi was coverage was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay. If we come back to this island we would definitely stay here again. Thanks

The Tiki house is a unique experience and the house oozes with love and care. Wow! The beds were super-duper comfy and had good beddding and the kitchen well stocked (could use a couple more of good quality stainless steel pans and pots) and the bikes were simply awesome! Having the bottled water available was the best, and we appreciated that to no end! We totally enjoyed ourselves!! My two sugestions for this amaxing place would be: 1) that It would be great to be able to turn off all the "smart" lights and wifi easily at night when we sleeep as we are pretty thoughtful about EMF pollution and 2) Have a few more good quality stainless steel and/or a cast iron pans and pots in the kitchen. If you want to be live the Tiki experience this is the place. The architecture, the decor, and the vibe of this house is authentic tiki all the way around. The upstairs is huge with tons of room to spread out. Every wall almost is continuous windows with views of the surrounding trees and mountains. The breeze coming in the kitchen was super nice. Master is huge as well and has some great tiki features and decor. We had zero issues and really enjoyed it. We'd stay here again for sure.

We wanted to stay somewhere unique with a tropical feel and this home did not disappoint!! The photos really don't do this home justice. We loved how tucked away this home was within it's impeccable tropical landscaping. It felt like we were living in a treehouse, with 360 views of Kauai's dramatic cliffsides. Nothing beat drinking our morning cup of coffee or an evening tiki drink to the sunrise and sunsets in this home! The home was clean and well laid out. The primary suite definitely is INCREDIBLE and was a mild source of envy within our group, but all of the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well thought out. We appreciated all of the amenities this home offered, between the cruiser bikes, boogie boards, and ample beach chairs. The large upstairs area gave us plenty of room to spread out, so we never felt like we were living on top of each other. We loved being in a quiet cul-de-sac, right across the street from the farmer's market, and an easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurant, and Big Save at Hanalei. This home and overall stay was so dreamy, and we can't wait to come back!!!

We loved our stay at the tiki house, it exceeded our expectations. Having full 360 views of the surrounds with windows open all around, we felt like we were immersed in paradise. Location was perfect for going to the beach every day and walking into town. The extra amenities were well utilised! All bikes were in working order, there was a surfboard and boogie board, chairs for beach picnics, a guitar, yoga mats and weights. The bedrooms were massive, comfortable beds, super clean. The huge upstairs area seemed too big at first but by the time we settled in we thought it was just perfect for our family as it had zones for different activities, conversations, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The initial communication with Greg and during our stay was prompt and helpful. Thanks Greg for providing an amazing home for our family to reunite after years apart during covid.

Terrific place. The huge upstairs is a wonderful place to cook, eat and just hang out (your choice of three livingroom-like seating groups and two large dining tables!) . Love all of the open (and screened) windows that let the tropical breezes flow by. Enjoyed all the birds at the feeder. Really liked having the six beach cruzers (all in good shape) to tool around town with. A two minutee ride to the beach or food. Great beds and amenities.

When we arrived we were instantly washed over with the relaxing vibes of this tropical treehouse. It exceeded expectations. Beautiful Mountain Views and many extra details to help our whole family get the most out of our vacation. Grabbing a bike and a board you could get to at least 3 amazing surf breaks very easily. Walking just minutes down a cool pathway brought you to the gorgeous beach. Walking to town for a bite or groceries was so easy and fun. For the house the beds and bedding were excellent. The host of the property was responsive and considerate. We hope to be back asap!
