Jeanie was an amazing host! She picked us up at the ferry and drove us to the property which is conveniently located across the street from a Vons grocery store. The apartment was very clean, with bottles of water and coffee in the fridge, clean towels in the bathroom and fresh sheets in the bedroom. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful vacation.

We had a wonderful time and this sweet little cottage style apartment. It was perfect. It was very clean and updated. We loved it. Jeanie Picked us up when we got off of the ferry and transported us to the apartment. It’s literally a couple of Blocks from the ocean. Just amazing. Jeanie is so kind and very accessible and helpful.
I stayed with my two teenage daughters. The size was just perfect for 3 to 4 people. Very quiet, peaceful, and charming. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would love to stay here again❤️

The mermaid room was perfect for the 10k/half marathon race weekend. Jeanie has thought of everything you might need and the bed was very comfortable. It was just a sort walk to the start/ finish line.

We were there for the jazz festival and the location was perfect. We could walk to everything! Jeanie couldn't have been nicer! Highly recommend this property.

This is a perfect place for a couple or small family to stay! Incredibly well kept and clean. Host was willing to pick us up and bring us up to the house even though it’s just a short walk from the Pier. She even mailed my charger cable I accidentally left. Couldn’t be happier!! Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed the charming rental! The location was convenient to grocery, restaurants and town. The owners were welcoming and made us feel at home! It was also nice to be picked up and dropped off from the rental to the boats. For anyone who wants a cute, quiet and convenient home base in Avalon - this is the perfect place.

We loved staying at this cozy cottage. Great location close to everything! The bed was super comfy, which is a total bonus, and the hummingbirds flying in and out of the feeder was a great sound to wake up to each day!

This place was just as advertised. It was great location. Jeanie was easy to communicate with and the place had all the essentials to make a comfortable stay.

The townhome was great but the host was somewhat rude to my daughter and my nieces we came to vacation not tiptoe around host we only where at property to change and sleep but she seemed bothered by the girls giggling and just having fun .. next time I will have to look for a place that will allow us to actually enjoy property without host coming out and telling us to be quite . My aunt also forgot her glasses in the bathroom in which host was also rude to her about coming back in to look for them even though it was before check out time . But place was nice and cozy

Amazing host, amazing place!
Jeanie is by far one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. She is extremely communicative and helpful and was willing to accommodate our schedule with picking us up from the dock as our boat came in as well as dropping our bags off for us when it was time for us to depart. She gave us some fantastic suggestions on places to eat/things to do as well.
The room is very simple, clean and extremely close to the Vons so getting groceries for the weekend was about as easy as it gets. The location could not be any better.
Overall, would recommend this place for anyone looking for a simple/clean spot in a wonderful location, with an awesome host! I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Catalina!

The property was just the perfect size for me and for my 2 kids. It's a cute little home, well maintained, organized and very clean. I love how it's very close to everything, walkable to vons, to the beach, to restaurants, to all the activities we planned throughout our stay. Esp for a mom like me I need everything nearby. And most of all, Jeanie is the kindest and most gracious hostess you'll ever meet. She answered all my concerns and even offered some assistance beyond my expectation. My kids adore her. I highly recommend this beautiful space and definitely would book here again for another summer adventure. Thanks Jeanie and hope to see you again next year 😊

Great Location, Great Host, Great Time!
Our first time to Catalina was all we hoped for and more. The property was in a fantastic location, super-clean and comfortable for three adults. It truly was a home away from home, complete with snacks and beverages stocked in the kitchen. Our host was so helpful, kind, welcoming and understands all of the things that visitors would want, from comfy beds and pillows to easy arrival/departure processes. We will recommend this property to friends and would return again ourselves!

Cute and Great Location
My husband and I would definitely stay again. Jeanie was great, check in a breeze. She truly thought of everything we would need right down to the paper coffee cups so we could pour our coffee and walk around. Close to everything, especially the Vons which is right across the street. It’s a darling one bedroom cottage that had everything we could have wanted.

Our girls trip in the Mermaid room
Our girls trips are always fun, but the owner Jeanie really adds an amazing touch! The room is clean and well organized for such a small space.
We arrived and Jeanie picked us up and delivered us and our bags to our room. She gave us great tips on where to go. When she found out it was my birthday we came back to balloons and cake!
Everything you need is in the room. Jeanie thoughtfully left the perfect amount of glassware and snacks! We would definitely stay here again!

Location Location Location
Close to everything. Really enjoyed our stay and hated to leave. Our host Jeanie picked us up at the dock which made checking in a breeze. Everything is super close so you can be anywhere in town in a matter of minutes. Will be back soon I am sure.

Amazing Island Host & Location
Great stay. Host went above and beyond making our stay comfortable . Picked us up from the ferry and gave us a small tour. Also took us back to the ferry when our stay was over.
Great location walkable to the town of Avalon and to the supermarket .
The host provides great communication before our stay on what activities are available on the island and where to eat.
The property was very clean and comfortable for 2 people and a child or teenager.

Perfect getaway place for us.
The room was perfect; had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and cheery, with considerate amenities. Location is excellent, within easy walking distance of nearly everything. The hosts are wonderful, and really took care of us well. Have stayed here before, will stay here again.

Beautiful Bungalow
Loved our stay at Jeanie’s place. She was such a great host. The place was immaculate and so tastefully decorated. It’s a bit small but seems typical of the area. We are a family of three and it was perfect for us. Loved the location! Walking distance to everything!

Avalon Vacation
Jeanie was a great host and the location of her rental was perfect! A short walk to the beach and shops and just across the street from the grocery store. Perfect for a stress free and fun getaway.

This was an absolute gem of a place. My girlfriend and I stayed there for my birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or host. We were about a one minute walk from the grocery store and about a 5 minute walk to anywhere downtown. If you are looking for a centrally located place that is close to all the amenities - this is the place for you. Just a quick note - I got sunburned our last day there and Jeanie was nice enough to cut some aloe plants for me to use and it saved me haha thank you again Jeanie!

Property was great! It was quaint, clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The hostess Jeannie Shelton was very nice, considerate, helpful, and very friendly! We definitely are going back next year.

Great quiet retreat in middle of Avalon
The place is very clean, stocked with nice things like water and bagels, and has a great host. Be aware that the unit is small but it has all you need, and it is decorated very well. We slept great, were close to all the action and a grocery store is nearby! When we return, we will try to stay here again! Jeanie is a great host and will pick you up and drop you off as needed to meet the Express (Ferry). Thank you for a great stay!

I loved everything about the place we stayed at in Avalon! It was clean, comfortable, cozy and beautifully-decorated! It was the perfect place for my daughter and I! I loved the fact that it was walking distance to everything Avalon has to offer! Jeanie, our host, was warm and friendly! She picked us up from the dock and gave us a little tour of Avalon before taking us to our place. She even gave us an itinerary of the festivities for the fourth of July! She even decorated the place with balloons and got my daughter a cake since it was her birthday on July 2nd. We had such an amazing trip! Jeanie gave us a ride to the dock on our last day. She even offered to store our luggage for us. I will definitely stay there again! Jeanie was a Superb host!

Perfect place for our small family to stay a couple of days while at Avalon.
Perfect location close to the new Vons and around the corner from the museum. Easy walking distance to everything!

Great Host, great location and great little getaway spot.
We came in for just a couple nights and it was the perfect place to relax. We were close enough to the hot spots in town that we walked back and forth all day but we enjoyed just sitting back in the peaceful appt just as much. We will be back! Jeanie went out if her way to make us feel welcome ❤️

Catalina Stay
Very nice quiet. Jeanie is excellent host. Walking distance to everything. The bed and pillows are very comfortable we slept like a log. My son is 22 and the couch was very comfortable for him we did not need to use the pullout bed. Jeanie also picked us up at the landing when we arrived and took us down when we left. We would for sure stay here again.

Great for a family vacation

Excellent vacation home
We had a amazing time! It was my birthday weekend and Jeanie, the host, made it so special for me. First off she picked us up from the dock. We arrived to a wonderfully decorated and cozy home and on the table she placed balloons, birthday napkins and in the fridge was a delicious Oreo cookie cake, ice cream and rose wine. Everything was so special and touching. This very clean home that is wonderfully decorated is central to everything yet very quiet with views of the mountains. Our departure was later in the afternoon and Jeanie was so kind to meet us in the dock to deliver our luggage. Definitely a must stay! Jeanie is the perfect host and really makes you feel special. Thank you so much.
