The stay at Plantation was perfect for us. Each day we would hit a different beach, hike, or excursion and return back to a perfect setting of the Plantation where we could relax for an hour or two by the pool, cook up some food in the kitchen, or at the pool and unwind. Everything that wa needed for cooking was readily available. The location made exploring the North shore easy and we planned for a couple of days to head to the other side of the island, with no more than a two hour drive each way. The unit that we were in was very clean, had plenty of space for 6 people, and having 3 restrooms was nice. Some beach supplies were available in the garage (chairs,umbrellas, a cooler) that made us more comfortable. Princeville is a quiet resort town with plenty of walking trails and conveniences. It was a quick drive into Hanalei for additional shopping and dining. Overall, our group was extremely pleased with our choice to stay Plantation 1521 and would definitely return.

I love the Plantation. I’ve stayed there many times. It has a great location and is easily accessible to everything on the north shore. Also love that every room has its own bathroom!

While it’s close to airport nothing moves fast on the roads in Kauai. It adds at least 45 minutes each way. There should be another alternative. Previously when this unit was rented we used the lockbox. It’d be great if that process could return.

Very nice condo and good location. Needs some updates. But over all it was very nice. Pans did not sit on the stove very well and the dish washer didn't work great. Please clean the carpets, they were pretty dirty when we arrived.

It is a nice 2nd floor unit with garage.The large AC unit in the living area was enough to cool the whole unit. The carpet could use shampooing or replacement. The garbage trunk comes about 730am. Otherwise the unit was great and the area was peaceful.

It was a perfect stay. We had 2 small issues and the Property Manager took care of them immediately. The carpet could use upgrading but we would definetly stay here again. Mahalo

Loved everything about the insite of the condo, however, no one told us the entire condo complex would be getting new roofs and paint so we were woken up early each morning by roofers and every time we left the condos the painters were all over us asking if they could paint the doorway and things. That was annoying!

There were 3 couples and the 3 bedroom 3 bath accommodations were perfect. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful landscaping, very comfortable. Close to everything North Shore and conveniently located near the main highway. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect--quiet neighborhood with a quick drive to beaches or into town for restaurants and souvenir shopping. We loved the extra space. The management was super helpful in letting us book an extra half day so we could stay till our late flight out of Kauai.

I had the task of finding a place to stay in the Princeville, Kauai area for a girls trip. I found this place and we couldn’t have been happier! The location was perfect, the unit clean and beautifully furnished and provided everything we needed. Besides the kitchen being well stocked, the garage held beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for our enjoyment. I would definitely love to stay there again!

We love the location! It gives us access to all the activities we want to do with very little drive time. The property more than met our needs, slept well ate well had a blast! We can’t wait to come back

Great location to many beaches, grocery store and shopping. Rental was perfect for our family of grandparents, parents and an infant. The property was as advertised with no surprises, check in was easy, staff was very helpful before/during rental process and there was no need to contact once we arrived as there were zero issues! Others have commented on carpet, while it is a bit worn, it is a rental and you can not expect it to be in pristine shape with people coming and going constantly. I would absolutely recommend this rental, an if we ever return will stay here again.

A few negatives were that the corners of the granite countertops were fairly rough and very unfortunate for my 3yo to keep hitting her head, the additional bedding in the closets were not washed and just balled up and we had to wash them. Lastly the unit does have AC however only has registers in the main room and the master bedroom. The AC was a big problem as were visited in October but if in summer months I’d imagine it would be able to keep up.

Reviewer Comments: This unit was nice, the view was not as good as my prior visits it was like being in a fish bowl and they are regular visitors at the garbage cans rummaging through the cans at 2-5am which is hard to ignore, the gym rules with one person at a time was a bit much and not necessary. Providing some of the simple stples like salt and pepper or spray for the cookware would have been a plus.

Good location, but most likely have to drive to beaches, but has a pool onsite, which was nice. The patio/deck was great and fun to eat on. Check in required picking up keys in Lihue, but worked out since we flew in. Property managers were very communicative. Like the layout of the condo. Overall good experience.

We really enjoyed staying here. Having 3 bdrms/3baths made it very convenient and everyone had their space. The process was easy and convenient. The hikes, tours and areas we had planned were more on the other side of the island tho so we had a bit of a drive but it was a beautiful drive! There is no beach access but didn’t bother us cuz we planned on visiting all the beaches and had excursions planned. It was nice that there was beach chairs and toys in the garage to use as well. The condo was very clean except for the carpet, there was multiple stains. Other than that it was great!

We all enjoyed this property. There are 3 nice size bedrooms, each with it’s on bath. This gave all of us privacy when needed and a nice private space to retreat to, when the “crowd” became too much. The patio is a lovely addition - nice and big. We ate some of our meals out there. Proximity to area beaches and attractions was a plus as well. The only downside we found, was that the carpeting was quite dirty with multiple stains and spots throughout the condo. I realize it’s hard when a property is rented over and over, but the owners may wish to at least have the carpets cleaned. Other than that….an ideal condo for a family Christmas!
