Great unit. Had a great 4 months here (despite the work on the building that made the outside hot tub/deck out of bounds). Would go back.

We loved our vacation in this updated condo. It was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The oceanfront balcony had amazing views and beach access was super easy. The hosts were great to work with. They responded quickly to our questions and made us feel welcome. They've also thought of everything! The kitchen is well-stocked with very nice dishes, silverware, kitchen tools, cookware, etc. The only thing that I would suggest is a new non-stick frying pan, but that is a minor issue. The condo is in a smaller building and felt more like a home than a huge resort. Thank you Al and Gayle for this five star vacation!

Condo came as advertised through pictures and description on VRBO site. Very convenient, nice beach, good restaurants nearby. There is a bar next door with live music that can be distracting if trying to enjoy the balcony at night.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay on the 9th floor of a well-situated building, just a couple of blocks from the local grocery/ anything you could want store. Great ocean views up and down the Grand Strand. Had some trouble with the TV. Directions for using it could have been clearer, and host did not always respond quickly when we had issues. Our door code quit working 2 hours before we had to be out of the unit, while we were still loading cars. She took a long time to respond, by which point we had already figured out a work-around. Overall, the condo is nice, well appointed, especially the kitchen. Needs some touch-up paint in a few places, which I hope they might do in the off-season. Beds were fine, as were bathrooms. The one problem was the music from the bar two doors down. There were times when we could hear it in the condo, even with the windows closed. Beach access was wonderful. Didn't use the pools. Overall, I'd recommend this place and I'd go there again.

Great week long stay with perfect weather. You can't beat the location with restaurants and a grocery store within very short walking distance. We enjoyed the 9th floor balcony every morning and evening. I love being ocean front! The live music at night from the nearby bar is fun, not too loud, and they stop by 10/10:30. It's adds to a fun atmosphere. We used the pool area every afternoon after spending the morning on the beach until it got too hot out. The pool area is kept clean and the maintenance employee was there every day all day long making sure everything was in good shape. The condo was just as described and the owner answered my questions very quickly leading up to our stay. I had no reason to contact him while we were there as we needed nothing. The only slight downside is the entrance area to the building is very dated and needs an overhaul. But, this is not a reflection on the condo itself and our enjoyment of our week. We will definitely return!

I highly recommend this condo, the views from the balcony are spectacular. This was the second time I stayed at this condo, and I'm so glad it was available! It is convenient to the beach, there are several restaurants within walking distance and it is equipped with everything you need. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back!

This was our second time staying in this particular unit and it was great again. Check-in is seamless, condo was clean, comfortable and updated. Can't beat the view and the proximity to everything. Al and his wife are very easy to get in touch with if there is a question or an issue. An excellent week!

Excellent VRBO listing! Everything was just as it was in the listing! The owners gave plenty of good information including places to go and eat! The staff took great pride in the place and kept the overall resort very clean!. Location was great for beach and pool! Close to grocery and restaurants. The units and building is definitely older but most have been renovated. Only 1 elevator worked during the stay and only 2 parking spots to load other than that nothing to complain about. Even with a lot of traffic it wasn’t bad at all. We definitely would love to come back!

We had an amazing stay! The owners have really thought of everything and we felt so at home in their property all week! Everything was clean and comfortable! We loved the location and enjoyed being able to walk to local restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops and more.

This is an amazing place to stay, right on the beach. Restaurants, bars, and a grocery store all within a block. Great view, RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The owners were very nice and always quick to respond with any questions. I hope to stay again in the future!!

Great location, great views on the 9th floor, walking distance to a lot! Condo was clean, amazing, only complaint was the master bedroom bed, all the other beds were comfortable. Owners were easy to chat with and helpful! We hope to stay again for our family vacation.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. Best location in Cherry Grove. It’s beside Aloha Watersports so you have a front row seat to the banana boats and parasailing ! So much fun to watch! The condo is furnished and decorated well. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses, and pots and pans. Quiet dishwasher, washer and dryer right in the kitchen. Beds are comfy and linen package was great! We never waited long on the elevator and the grounds are constantly being cleaned day and night. Walkway to the ocean is a lifesaver. No walking a long way to the ocean! The owners are great to work with and very quick to answer. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks Al and Gayle for sharing this property with our family!♥️

Comfortable and clean - great location. Hosts very responsive and immediately addressed the two minor problems we encountered, which were not in their control to prevent. Pool was in heated so very cold in the mornings but by afternoon was much more comfortable. Highly recommend.

Nice Beachfront condo. This place is in a nice location, convenient to a lot of things. Restaurants next door, grocery stores nearby, and the parasailing and banana boat rides were right on the beach. The weather wasn't the best when we arrived, but the room was clean and nice so we didn't mind having to stay in. The owners checked in on us on arrival day and were quick to answer questions and help when a problem arose. There is a pool and 2 jacuzzies, as well as a sauna and small workout room with treadmill and workout machines. I would definitely recommend renting from the Gardiners!

This is our second time staying here and it was just as enjoyable as the first time! We felt comfortable and at home. It was nice to be greeted with a welcome sign and flowers. Our son and his family spent a week with us. All enjoyed the view and the comfort the condo provided. The teenage grandkids enjoyed sitting on the balcony and collecting shells along the beach. We will be coming back to North Myrtle Beach and this condo will be our first choice to stay at.

This space is AMAZING! Our group had 4 people. It has a spectacular view and the unit is spotless. They even have a dresser in the living room with games for any age. The washer and dryer were heaven-sent. The area the condo is located in is quiet and very casual. Parking was easy as it was directly across the street and the parking passes were easy to use. It was nice to have a small restaurant/bar, breakfast restaurant, and grocery store in walking distance. The pool was down during our stay, which was a bummer, but that was the ONLY thing that I have to say that is not positive and it really isn't negative as it isn't something that was out of his control. The best part is we had no issues and never had to contact the owner as they had a binder with all instructions and details, and it answered every question we had. He communicated extremely well and his listing was very accurate. We will definitely recommend him to others and be back in the future.

Wonderful condo. Clean and welcoming. Keyless entry is easy to use. Great location for beach activities. Close by grocery store, restaurants and bar with live music. Parasailing and habana boat close on beach. We rented chairs and umbrella that made it so convenient to enjoy the sun. The outside pool and jacuzzi are clean. Inside has small jacuzzi, also inside the fitness room is a dry sauna. Al was quick to respond to any questions prior to our visit. Would recommend this place and hope to visit again.m

Updated condo with nice appliances. Best washer and dryer conveniently in kitchen. Owners are very responsive to questions and inquiries. Hair dryer tripped a fuse and owner offered to overnight a replacement. There was 2 hairdryers so no need of urgency for us. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful Ocean Views. Grocery store is walkable with everything one might need on vacation. Less crowded than Myrtle Beach which was exactly what we were looking for. The only negative for someone who doesn’t want to hear music is the restaurant nearby plays classic rock and has live bands sometimes. We weren’t bothered as they turned the music off by 9 or 10:00pm. Inside the condo, you couldn’t hear it and outside, it wasn’t loud. Highly recommend this condo and location.

Location is key and this was in the perfect location. We enjoyed every moment of the 7 days we stayed. The hosts Gayle and Al went above and beyond for us, they are amazing hosts. All four of us would highly recommend this condo. If your deciding between this one and another one... I would encourage you to choose this one.

The condo is a perfect set up with plenty of space. We enjoyed drinking coffee and wine while watching the waves from the balcony. The location is close to restaurants and grocery stores. Parasailing, banana boats rides, fishing on the pier is within walking distance. We will definitely be coming back.

Great stay this week! This was our first time staying in this particular unit. The condo was clean & very nice. It looked just like the pictures, plus was stocked with all kinds of cooking equipment, etc. Al & Gayle were very responsive & even texted us midweek to see how our stay was. This was another great week in our favorite place, Cherry Grove!
