Great 2 bedroom casa! Clean, well equipped to cook in the kitchen or grilling out. 8 blocks from downtown Durango. We take advantage of that 80% of the time since it beats having to drive and find parking. It's just the perfect VRBO located in Durango! Owners are very responsive if you should have any question or needs.

The place is great however it's on a busy, noisy street with a patio bar directly across the street which was very loud a couple nights.

We arrived in heavy snow, but heating had been turned on, and we immediately felt at home. Parking right outside; wholefood grocery and liquor store opposite, so settled in easily. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the bed firm and comfortable. There is a very efficient gas heater, but an electric fan heater is also provided. The cottage is very close to downtown Durango, and Durango is a great hub for all sorts of outdoor activities and scenic drives. We loved our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple.

What a beautiful house in a perfect location. Holly and Ben are the perfect host. They really pay attention to the small details. Everything we needed was available. Comfortable beds to a coffee grinder for a fresh cup of coffee. The check I. Was streamless. We will be back!

The house was as described. Very clean. Small place but had everything we needed for a week of stay. The driveway can be tricky to turn around especially in winter and with a big car. The owners were nice and shoveled the snow. The washer and the drier are shared with the renters of the back room. Overall, it is a nice place. We would stay there again.

I have stayed at this host’s properties a few times now. The properties are charming, clean, and comfortable. Holly is a kind host who cares about her guest’s experience. Her rentals are my go to places to stay when visiting Durango.

This was an incredible stay. Holly was attentive and helpful; the cabin was wonderful and cozy.

We spent a week at the house. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware although a little short on plates. So we used paper plates. Initially I was concerned that the only source of heat was in the living room. But this was a non issue and we did not experience any cool temperatures. We will be returning to this house.

I highly recommend this cute house. It is on a busy street but the noise was not bad at all. The beds are super comfortable and such cute decor. The owners were very responsive with a few questions I had. It is very close to downtown and super easy to get around whether it be via uber or your own car.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this charming, clean property. It's just a short walk to downtown. Durango Joe's coffee, a health food market, and a great breakfast cafe are within one block of the property. Parking can be tricky when close to downtown Durango. This property offers private off street parking that accommodated our truck with no problem. Unloading and reloading our cargo was very easy thanks to the driveway access. As mentioned in the owner's property description, there is a tavern across the street. The noise from the tavern was noticeable until about midnight on only one night. We will definitely consider staying at this property again.

I booked this place because it was originally listed as having 4 beds & my brother & I & 2 friends were riding motorcycles to Durango. It has 2 beds & a fold-out couch. (Thank God my brother cancelled.) Upon inquiring about the back bedroom we saw being cleaned when we arrived that was now behind a locked door, we were told that was a separate rental & we could use it only for an extra charge. When I asked about the 4th bed (one bed in each BR, one couch in the LR is all we saw) I was told "the VRBO system listed the pack -n- play as a bed" & the owner sent images of the bedroom descriptions from VRBO, you know, in case I couldn't look that up myself. Really? My 2 year-old grandson has outgrown his pack-n-play. The WiFi description was wrong so I had to ask for that. The emailed instructions had the door code but also said to call/text for it? The shower sprays out the door onto the floor when you turn it on & the bathroom sink spigot flops around loose. Who plumbed this place; a high school kid? Honestly, it was adequate. But, the place is clearly an operation that the owner doesn't really pay any attention to & just collects money for without really caring about details.

The location was convenient. The layout works well for the smaller space. The parking is a bit tricky especially if there is another person staying at the other rental. We had three different people stay there during our duration. One family was very respectful of the parking, but the other two took our other designated spot. The host was super kind and addressed it with them. Whenever we needed something or had a question the host was very responsive, which we appreciated.

We really enjoy renting from Holly, the owner of this property. She is very responsive and accommodating. Internet quality was great and the property is very close to Horse Gulch trailhead and walkable to several restaurants nearby and we took advantage of that. This was the first time we stayed at this house and we were there for 3 weeks, working remote with a small dog. Which for this location was not ideal. The yard is fenced, but very small. The location is off a busy street and across from a bar, which during COVID has its windows open and was loud at night. I can see this location being better for a shorter stay or for someone not trying to work remote. We do plan to rent from Holly again, just at a different location.

Was very clean. Yard is very small. Tavern across the street was a little loud on weekend nights. No a/c, gas stove for heat looked good. Kitchen lighting wasn’t so good, owners need to replace track light over sink, as 3 out of 4 lights were out. It was very clean and convenient to everything.

Good location to walk around Durango. Enjoyed the kitchen, gas stove, and bedrooms in this little house with my family. Our 4 legged members appreciated the yard and the walks to the open space on the Mesa behind the house. Would stay again.
