We rented this property for our annual fishing trip and what a great cabin! Great location on the lake relative to fishing location and great dock for docking the boats. I would highly recommend this cabin for your next visit to Vermilion.

Great location, great beach. Loved the spacious kitchen/dining area. Sauna was a nice plus! We would love to return every year!

Our stay at this property couldn't have been better. Not only was everything as described, but they took extra care to make sure everything was disinfected before our stay. Beautiful place!

We had the BEST Thanksgiving! Took our 3 college age kids and a couple of their friends. They all loved it and we as parents loved that we had 3 uninterrupted days with them. They all want to do it again.

The whole process from the beginning until the time we left was seamless, the Lakehome was as advertised and very spacious and comfy not to mention beautiful.

We just returned from our week at Water's Edge - what a fantastic lake home!! It easily accommodated a large group - there was room for everyone to sit and relax, to eat our meals together at the large table, to have a comfortable room to sleep, and plenty of chairs outside to enjoy the beautiful lake view!! The first part of our week was pretty rainy - but sitting by the fireplace was nice and cozy for the girls, while the guys enjoyed watching football on the big screen tv. The latter half of the week was dry, and the fishing was fantastic! The fall colors were just beginning, making the lake even prettier than usual. The cabin was supplied with everything you need - we really appreciated that. Typically we haul up a fair amount of stuff when we go to the lake - things that we've learned aren't typically at most cabins. But you had it all - so the next time we come we won't need to pack as much - Love that!!!! We launched our boats at the Birch Point Marina - it had a nice setup, and the owner was there helping to drop the boats in and pull the boats out - you couldn't ask for better service. So overall we loved out week at Waters Edge and will definitely come back again!! Thank you for sharing your fantastic lake home!!!!!

There really are no words adequate to describe the feeling that comes over you as you "unwind" and fall into the beauty and peacefulness of Water's Edge. It is very obvious that this beautiful family home has been equipped with care and concern for their guests' comfort and convenience. The bedrooms are all very large and just as the photos and descriptions portrayed them. The kitchen space was phenomenal and being able to have all eleven members of our family around the dining room table with a view of the lake was terrific. We have no recommendations for nearby activities, attractions, or restaurants because no one wanted to leave our peace of heaven except to be out on the pontoon boat that we rented for the week. The owners were incredibly helpful with information relating to our rental home, recommendations of items to bring, driving directions, and, also, provided a notebook (in the home) full of information addressing every possible subject we might have during our stay. It would be hard to say what one thing was the most special because all of it comes together to make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the days spent with our grandchildren and children.

This large and spacious lakeside retreat is welcoming from the minute you step foot in the door. It was a great place for a weekend get-a-way with friends. The listing accurately describes the location, appearance, and amenities. The home is spotless and well-maintained. Though this lakeside home is quite large, it has a very comfortable and intimate feel to it and made me feel right at home. It can comfortably accommodate 10-12 people without being crowded in any way. Bedrooms are private, roomy, and comfortable. The living spaces (living room, kitchen/dining room, & sun room) work well for small or large groups. This lovely home is located right on the shores of beautiful Lake Vermilion, one of northern Minnesota's premier lakes, and would work well for a weekend or vacation during any season. It is a perfect place to avail yourself of all the outdoor activities available in the area or just outside the door, and just as perfect if you enjoy sitting by the fireplace or in the sun room reading a good book. This would be a great place to do so many things: swimming, waterskiing, fishing, jet-skiing, boating, sailing, ice-fishing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hiking, checking out the beautiful fall colors, or bird watching, just to name a few. The owners are helpful, gracious, and accommodating. They really want you to enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend this property as a vacation or weekend destination.

This is the third year our family has enjoyed the use of the cabin at Water's Edge. The owners have been excellent about getting information, directions, to us. The house is well maintained and clean. It is decorated with fine bedding, and nice furniture, but comfortable to have a family there. I like the large areas for groups to be doing different things, watching the football game, or kids working on the large table with an art project, while the parents sit around the fireplace and visit. The kitchen works well for a large crowd, to set up a buffet. When you are there, there is a sense you should just relax and visit. We highly reccomend the Water's Edge.
