We had a great stay at this Lake Vermilion cabin. The cabins had plenty of space for group. Lots of beds to accommodate our large group. Beach is great and being able to launch our boat right next to the dock was very convenient! Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

The cabins are comfortably furnished and clean. It’s great to have a boat launch right on the property. We also enjoyed the sandy swimming area and being on a quiet a quiet bay. The outdoor areas (decks, etc.) are in need of maintenance.

Our group of four couples really enjoyed this house and amenities! Wonderful fishing (once we figured out where they were hiding). Thanks for sharing it with us!

Beautiful, classic Northern Minnesota cabin with updated modern amenities like new shower and dishwasher. Lots of space in the airy pine paneled house. One of the few docks that was not underwater after all of the rain. Sunsets galore. Thank you.

The listing should clearly include information regarding stairs to bedrooms and bathrooms.
The host was told when I booked that it was a birthday trip for my 97 year old mother.
Although the listing said there was a full size bathroom on the main floor, it has no shower. Our mother had to be helped downstairs to a full bath. The main floor "bed" fold out couch was in very bad shape for sitting and sleeping.
The staircase to go upstairs to a bedroom or full bath would have been impossible for her even with help.
The rest of the house was fine for the rest of us but she did not enjoy the four night trip.

From reservation to check in, through our stay to check out, the owner was a great communicator. The property was perfect for our family of 8 adults and two young kids. It helped the weather was great and for August fishing we did really well.
Hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake was a great way to start and end the day. The bedtime we head to Lake Vermilion we will be trying to get this place again.

Great stay at a great cabin on a quiet bay on Lake Vermilion. We really liked the convenience of being able to launch our boat right on the property. We’ve already booked our stay here for next summer!

This a perfect traditonal older cabin on Lake vermillion that has its own charm and character. Plent of room on the lot and you can launch your own boat right on the property. The property is located in daisy bay and is perfect for water sports and if you like to fish easy jog out to main lake.. Great plcae to stay

Had a very nice stay. Very clean and cozy. Loved the private boat landing. Caught some fish and the fish cleaning house came in handy. We had a great week of weather which led to a lot of dock and deck relaxing. Overall I would recommend to future stays.

Solid well kept property as described - everything worked just fine. Lots of solid deck space & good patio furniture.
Didn't need to leave Daisy Bay to find excellent walleye and smallmouth fishing. Conveniently located to Tower as well. First stay here for our group of old guy fishing buddies - will likely stay here again.

Cabin was exactly as listed. Location was great for snowmobiling with easy access to the trails. Bart was great to work with. Would definitely recommend.

It was a nice and very spacious cabin for our family of three. It could easily accompany another family. The kitchen if fully equipped. It has a beautiful view on the lake. It’s only 35 min from the Giants Ridge ski resort, which was the reason we came here in the first place. After skiing all day we really enjoy the sauna downstairs. The only downside, you can’t close the door tight in sauna and hot air escapes very fast, so it’s really hard to make it very hot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The host was very proactive in communicating all the details we'd need through calls, email and text in the days leading up to our stay, and was easy to reach for questions. The property itself is very comfortable (we mostly stayed indoors due to the cold) and has a great layout with clean bathrooms and plenty of blankets. The only thing we were missing was a roll of paper towels - everything else was right where we'd expect to find it. I'd be very interested in coming back when it's warmer to enjoy the deck and spend some more time outdoors.

Beautiful location! Sat on the dock the first night , in the moonlight and watch the lightning across the bay… Found Lost Lake and did a great hike! Loved having 3 bedrooms! Enjoyed a sauna too!

The location and setting of this property was perfect for what we were looking for. It felt very private, quiet and had the quintessential Northern Minnesota feel that I was looking forward to an am glad we found! Communicating with the owner was easy and he was very responsive. I would recommend this stay for anybody who wants to feel like they're in northern Minnesota!

Great property that worked for our family. We had plenty of room. Beds were all comfortable. Was very Convenient to be able to put the boats in right by the dock. We had great weather too.

This was a great stay in a great location. Bart was very good on communication. Wonderful lake. Great fishing. 2 meals of walleye (all you could eat) during our one week stay!

Secret Cabin
If you snowmobile and/or ice fish, this place is perfect. We had access straight to the lake using our snowmobiles to pull our portables out. It’s a short distance to the trails that are on the lake and it made it easy to get to key fishing spots. The cabin was ideal to sleep 6 guys with plenty more rooms and beds available. Bart is by far the best VRBO property owner I’ve dealt with yet. His communication was friendly and questions were quickly answered. I will be referring anyone who wants to stay on Lake Vermilion to rent his place. I would personally love to stay again any time of the year. It’s a great cabin on a great lake.

Overall would recommend
We had tons of snow while we were there, so the area seemed magical with all the snow. We enjoyed Giants Ridge during our stay. The cabin itself is cute but has some quirks that we were able to work with, but the water pressure was an issue that we relayed to the owner. Hopefully it can be resolved for the next guests.

Short fishing trip
The place was clean. The boat landing was a nice feature. Place was mostly well stocked minus dish rags and dish soap. Owner was particular about the dish soap we used. I feel like it would be more convenient if it was just provided. The fish cleaning house was nice. I just feel that it is time to replace the boards around the outside. They are not level covered in moss and very slippery when wet. Overall our group agreed we'd stay again.

Great place!
Very nice place with everything we needed for our annual fishing trip. The main level was nice and comfortable and the bedrooms upstairs were very nice. If you need to use the bedroom in the basement be aware that it’s very basic and musty. The small cabin on the property seems very nice as well but we didn’t use it.
Overall it was a great experience and Bart couldn’t be a more helpful guy. Very happy and plan to book again next year.

Lake vermilion
This was the perfect place to get away with family. We rented both cabins and had plenty of room for 10 of us. We really liked having our own dock for our boats, and private beach. This is great for a family reunion if you want to be away from other people. But it’s also close enough to shopping and other activities.
