It was a great Christmas weekend getaway for me and my kids. The house was comfy and on a nice quiet cove. The weather wasn't helping us but we still enjoyed by just relaxing and playing games inside. House was stock and had almost everything we need to last us for our stayed. My kids love the double bunk beds it was their favorite. The bed was comfy and sheets was clean. Will definitely book it again in the future.

Everything about our stay was just great! Good location on a nice quiet cove. House was super clean and very comfortable. Interaction with the owner was awesome. Brad was very responsive and helpful. Proximity to groceries and dining was very good. Can you tell we really enjoyed our stay? (Having 70-80 degree weather in November was an unexpected plus.) Highly recommend staying at Dewey's Dream.

Nice and quiet. Was exactly as we expected. A very nice property.

The house, dock, and water was all great. Enjoyed the almost zero access from the car to the house. The swimming was good with no other docks real close. Only about 3 miles from Woods Grocery was real nice. All around good stay.

We truly enjoyed this place. It felt like home and was very comfortable. The fire pit was great and the dock and boat slip fit our needs perfectly and the location on the lake is great too. We didn’t have our kids with us but there would have been room for them and I’m sure they would have loved it too. Would highly recommend.

This property was perfect for our first adventure at the Lake of the Ozarks. The home was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing family vacation. The outdoor area is shaded almost any hour of the day and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening fires on the patio. The kids spent a majority of time in the lake and the protected cove was ideal. We will definitely be back!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect for two families of 4. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean. We loved the firepit for smores and sitting on the upper deck. Our only negative, which the owners have zero control over, is that this is a highly trafficked cove. Its a busy one and folks are speeding by most of the day causing the water to be very rough around the dock. Just sharing because it made parking our boat very tricky at certain times of the day. We unloaded our boat and parked our trailer (for free) at Franky and Louie’s which was also a great place to eat and hang out a bit. Thank you for a great long weekend!

The house was as advertised. Great location on the lake to reach several restaurants and boat rental locations. Easy drive to other locations that were too far to boat.

Our family had a great time at the lake. The house was comfortable and the dock was a favorite spot for the kids.

We had a great time with our family. The property was clean and had everything we needed to get us started. Would have liked some kayaks and stuff for the littles. Like a gate for the stairs. Overall it was a beautiful place.

Very nice ,parking was tight but doable, fishing was good , very relaxing stay

Place was great. Upstair bath has been remodled with walk in shower. New upper deck going in, looks nice so far. Faces east so no blaring hot sun in the evening. Caught fish off dock everyday. Pretty comfy beds. Kitchenware was well stocked. Good golfing and food near by. If looking for a fishing boat the only place is alhonna marine. Will be back next year.

We came here for short Spring Break weekend and it was exactly what we needed! Total family count was eight with ages from 10-22 for kids. Loved the hiking trails in Ha Ha Tonka State Park followed by a great lunch at Pepperoni Bills. Bridal Cave left us in awe! Planning on return trip for two on the motorcycle!

Upper deck was under construction and that was not disclosed. It will be nice for the next stay! Other than that it was a nice clean place.

Rented before busy summer season and it was so quiet and peaceful. Property manager has great communication. Rental was very comfortable and has everything you need. Lake is beautiful. Gas and very nice grocery store within 2 miles. Very handy location.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property on Lake of the Ozarks. The house was perfect for our group as it allowed us to spend time together and apart as needed. We got a ton of use out of the new fire pit area and the dock, where we caught several fish. We will definitely consider this location when we return to area on our next vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Dewey's Dream. We fished, walked, played games on the back deck, had a campfire, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The weather was great and the home was everything we hoped for.

Arrived on Monday afternoon a company was putting in a patio. They were cutting stones for it the rest of the day Monday all day Tuesday half the day Wednesday. Brian our contact told me he thought it would be completed by the time we got there but that was incorrect. Ruined three of our four days. Would’ve been great if they would’ve gave us some free stay or some restitution in someway. I am still hoping.

This was our 2nd year visiting the area & we wanted to step up from our impromptu booking from last year. Dewey's Dream was perfect for what we wanted. Ample sleeping space, full stocked kitchen & plenty of nearby attractions & things to do. We really enjoyed hanging out on the dock & swimming. There was a boat rental place right down the cove which was convenient. The home was very clean & the decor was on point for a lakehouse. The multi level deck made it easy to step outside & enjoy the views, regardless of which level you were on. Myself & my husband stayed on the lower level, the couple we were with took the main floor, so we each had our own deck. Overall I would recommend it for any family looking g for a lakehouse getaway.

This place is amazing and does not disappoint. The house is perfect, very clean and homey, had everything we needed so we never left except to get groceries. Fished off the dock, swam a bit and relaxed. Just a great experience and wonderful host. Thank you so much!

the place is very nice and comfortable. the water is a little rough, but manageable. parking is tight but really not a problem either. overall we really enjoyed this place.

The best part of our trip was hangout on the dock! Did a little catch and release fishing, jumped in the lake off the dock and floated around- just perfect! The decks & outdoor areas were great too. There were some repairs underway but nothing that got in our way. Location to grocery stores, bait shop, & restaurants by boat or car was really good too. Overall a great stay- thanks!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the lake! Brian was attentive and extremely helpful. The house was clean and in a great location for boat watching and swimming off the dock. We look forward to staying again!

We had a great time at Dewey’s Dream ! Everything was as described in the. Vrbo description. We rented a boat and had a good time spending time swimming off the dock. The porch outside was awesome and we spent a lot of time cooking, eating, and just hanging out. We would definitely return!

We had a great family trip! This house was wonderful for kids, parents, and grandparents! Brian was wonderful to work with, he went above and beyond to see that we had a great stay, we will definitely come back again!

We loved this place and will stay here again for sure next time we visit the Ozarks. Thanks again so much Brian. Owner: Very quick and responsive to all questions. Location: Super convenient location to boat ramps, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Allowed us to spend more time on vacation less time on logistics. Fishing: Great off the dock on the shoreline. Parking: As Brian notes parking is tight but very doable. We had 1 full size SUV and and oversized truck and had no issues. As noted there is no room for a boat trailer but we were able to accommodate storage at another location. Home: Has everything you need & is very clean. It was great having a king size bedroom & full bathroom on each floor. The setup worked perfect for our friends to stay. Plenty of privacy for everyone. Overall Feel: The house has a great lake feel. Amazing outdoor spaces. The decks (upper and lower) off the house and dock are fantastic. Plenty of shade all times of the day from trees and the roof on the dock. Plenty of boats to watch coming in and out of the cove but not overly busy. Stay here, you will not be disappointed! c

We very much enjoyed our stay, that house and area provided much of what we needed with many conveniences nearby. For families with younger children, we did find the holiday weekend and following weekend to be very busy on the lake and the cove the rental is located, making swimming and using the dock harder. Having Frankie and Louie’s at the end the cove was great for visiting during the week but made the cove very busy most of the day on weekends. We rented a boat and used nearby quieter coves to enjoy the days. The stairs leading to the basement are narrow and the carpet and lack of railing /open side make them slippery and caused a lot of stress with kids wanting to run up and down them to get to the lake. We also knew going into the rental that the fourth “bedroom” was the basement hang out area and was a pull out couch. While we knew this, I think it would be beneficial to replace the couch with something newer and more comfortable since this this being considered a “bedroom” and the couch and bed were not very comfortable. Overall we had a great time, but it was obvious the place was a rental and had some wear and tear that could use some updating.
