House was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Close to Pacific Beach and La Jolla. When we weren’t out enjoying San Diego we relaxed by pool and spa resulting in an amazing family get together. We were 9 adults and the accommodations were perfect. Joe was wonderful to work with, readily available with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home and Joe. A very memorable stay!!!

The house was a perfect fit for our two families with kids. Close to everything in LaJolla and PB the split level house was great with good spacing. The back years was very impressive one of the best he has seen according to my brother who lives in the area and seen many over the years. Are whole party loved our stay and would recommend it to others.

The outdoor space is phenomenal, with a spacious pool and hot tub, as well as plenty of space for relaxing. The indoor space was comfortable clean. Communication was smooth and prompt.

We had a very nice stay. The property has a pool and spa that can be heated. A very spacious back yard with tables and bbq grill. Kitchen had all the cook ware needed to serve. The bedrooms were roomy. We enjoyed looking at all of the memorabilia that has been collected from the owner. Neighborhood was central to activities, beach, shopping & parks. If you need a roomy place to stay, this is the place.

This home was big enough had everything we needed. Pool and spa was fabulous. Location was awesome and close to everything we wanted to do. Owner had excellent communication with us the entire time

Nice size home with a large backyard and off street parking. Close to beaches, shopping and San Diego activities.

We stayed with three generations and really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and ESPECIALLY the great backyard! We used the pool and hot tub multiple times a day. Location was great and Joe was one of the easiest and most communicative owners I’ve interacted with. We hope to come back!

Good location the backyard was excellent! The inside could use updating, the bedrooms are bright for sleeping it could use some block out curtains.

We stayed with a family of 6 (ages 5-17) plus two adults. Wonderful house and neighborhood with easy access to many things. Joe was the best!!! Very responsive. Would stay again.

Our stay was lovely. The home is very reflective of the owner and his life - our kids were fascinated by his pictures! The house was a little outdated but had everything we needed - all of the stuff you buy at an out of town rental to use only once was already there for us to use. Major bonus! Just wish it had been a little warmer to enjoy the pool more. The spa absolutely made up for the cool weather though.

we rented this house for a family/friends weekend over memorial day. The house has a very convenient location. The house is well kept and has a large, wonderful backyard with a large pool and a spa. The house sleeps lots of folks. Please do be aware that although the listing might say it's 3 baths, its actually 2 1/2 baths. Otherwise this house is as advertised and provided a lovely base for us to see the local parks, the piers, downtown san diego and all the local amenities. Be sure and check out the large park only a block away that has expansive views of the ocean. ''

Great location and wonderful seating and backyard!

First and foremost, the host owner was wonderful to work with both before and during our trip. He really wants his guests to be well taken care of and we were. I highly suggest that you pay the extra fee for the pool and spa heat because the backyard is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Great location and a quiet neighborhood.

We were looking for a place for our family to come together and spend time with our son’s fiancés family. This was the perfect location. The host was wonderful and very accommodating.

Neighbourhood nice and quiet for great sleeps! The beds were all comfortable. Plentiful beach towels for pool use and beach. Swimming pool was fabulous, about 10 meters in length, great for morning fitness swim and lovely that floats were provided for lounging. Kitchen nicely equipped. Cozy family home filled with personal effects, photos etc. starting to show some need for fresh paint and general updates on details, doors, baseboards, carpet old and worn etc. Although we spent the majority of our time on the massive deck area in a glorious yard. Several great seating areas. In our communication with owner on questions related to pool and spa he had quick response time. Our overall impression was in his attempts to be helpful over phone/text he was a bit condescending and if he had listened to what we were explaining we wouldn’t have lost 2 days if heated spa opportunity. House is located in a hilly area, not easily considered walking distance to stores, restaurants so a vehicle or taxi is required, no bike commuting. Nice to have washer and dryer to use, can easily pack lighter when you stay at this home.

Great location…close to everything! Perfect back yard!

The home was very nicely appointed with excellent electronics and Wi-Fi access. The pool and patio are most enjoyable and easily accommodated our party of 8 family members. Cooking facilities, including outdoor grill are very good, everything you need to fix favorite meals.

Joe's home was exactly that a great home away from home perfect for a family vacation. The outdoor area was exceptionally outstanding! The pool and spa were the center of our family time. My grandchildren and adult children lived in the pool and spa. We ate all our meals outside on multiple patios which were supplied with tables, chairs, lounge chairs, chair side tables, BBQ, gas heaters, and tropical landscaping. The house was well supplied, clean, comfortable, and had multiple sliding patio doors providing easy access to the outside.California living at it's finest! Easy. No problems

Great home for families up to 10 people. Joe greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of his beautiful home and the run down on how to properly warm up the pool. Joe stocked the home with daily essentials (chicken utensils, spices, toiletries, beach/pool towels, washing detergent, etc). The home is in a great location we didn’t have to drive far for food, the beach or nightlife. All wishing 3-5 miles. With a warm pool the kids never wanted to leave which made the vacation that much more relaxing. I would definitely stay with Joe a gain in the future.

We had a wonderful time at this property! Our trip included three generations of my family. We had plenty of space to spread out, but we certainly enjoyed gathering on the patio together! The backyard is a tropical paradise and the pictures don't show how big the yard really is!! Our host met us when we arrived and was a great communicator. We would certainly stay here again with a large group of family or friends!

We rented this place for our spring break. We have (2) 20 year olds and 13 year old. The place is gorgeous with a fantastic back yard and pool. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. This place exceeded our expectations. The pool and spa were terrific. The location was perfect - a few minutes from the grocery store - 10 minutes from the beach - etc. The owner and his daughter were great to work with.

We were comfortably set up as if it was our own home. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, great kitchen space with all we needed, and a beautiful backyard. We loved swimming and grilling and spreading out between indoors and out.

My adult children and I enjoyed this house for Christmas week. The pool was perfectly warm and the hot tub was nice and toasty. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very responsive and answered any questions promptly. It was not too far to the beach and to many restaurants. Nice quiet location.

The house was perfect and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We spent most mornings sitting in the hot tub drinking our coffee. Joe was super easy to work with, he was flexible and understanding while our flights were delayed. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at this property for Thanksgiving week and it was just a wonderful property - spacious with an amazing yard. There was a heated pool and jacuzzi and wonderful areas to sit outside and enjoy the temperate climate. There is adequate space for everyone to feel that they had plenty of room to move around and even space if you wanted to read and be by yourself. The amenities were great - we were able to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and bake pies. The house is in a phenomenal location - near grocery stores and restaurants. A little slice of Heaven.
