We were on South Pender for a short stay but we had such a lovely time at Brigitte’s cozy cabin that I’m sure we’ll be back! She welcomed us warmly, provided excellent info about the house and area and shared garden produce with us as well. Her cabin was comfortable, tidy and cozy; firewood was provided and all was as described. This was a wonderful choice for a weekend or week-long visit. Thank you Brigitte!

The house is sweet and rustic. It was clean and well cared for but too old and uncomfortable for me. There is nothing wrong with it but I just found it a bit tired and needing updated furnishings and appliances for my liking.

Perfect location if attending a wedding at Poets Cove. Only about 500 meters down the road. Loved the feel of the cottage.

A peaceful place to unwind and relax. The cottage had everything you may need while on vacation. Owner was very attentive.

This was a wonderful getaway to a relaxing rustic atmosphere on an island full of lovely people, pleasant hikes, and public amenities like a pool for kids who would like to swim in something warmer than the ocean.

What a wonderful little island and such a beautiful location to stay for 3 days of our granddaughter’s spring vacation. Our host, Brigitte was exceptional from beginning to end. The cottage was lovely and perfect for my husband and I and our 8-year-old granddaughter. All of the amenities of home and then some. So clean and comfortable with all of the things you need. We had a wonderful trip and will certainly return again. So much more to explore on Pender. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a long or short term stay in a quiet place with beautiful natural surroundings. Thank you for everything, Brigitte! You were an exceptional host!

Lovely island. Our choice for the cabin was perfect for us.

We had a great stay in this beautiful, bright cottage with private green outdoor space. It’s a perfect place for relaxing . The host had great hospitality, she got everything we needed in the cottage, it felt like home.

Brigitte was so welcoming, kind and generous—a genuinely lovely human being. Our retreat at the cabin was perfect—it is well-equipped but what made it truly delightful was the amazing light from all those windows, being surrounded by cedars and (when the rain finally ended the drought) that amazing wood stove! And my pup approved—she enjoyed the new surroundings, the new smells and the cabin. There are so many wonderful parks and trails to visit in the area and every day brought new adventures. We will be back.

We had some difficulty communicating with the host who was overseas before and during our visit and there was no additional contact available. We had a significant problem gaining access to the cabin on our arrival, however the host has subsequently rectified this for us. The property is in a lovely peaceful location and is full of the items you may need for a comfortable stay including a well provisioned kitchen. The cabin was very clean and tastefully decorated. The listing indicates ocean views, however the large cedars around the property have obscured the view of the water from the cabin. There are many lovely ocean walks nearby and a handy trail guide at the cabin. The wifi was fast.

Beautiful cottage. Modern but with some character. Nice to be on the south island of Pender as it is much quieter and has a very rural, gentle feel. Nice lake, Greenburn, short drive down the road with a twenty minute walk through the forest to a great lake for swimming. Highly recommended to stay at Brigitte's cottage on Pender!

This property is exactly has described .It is a beautiful clean comfortable cottage .We had 3 dogs with us and they had lots of room to play in the garden .The owner just lives down the lane from cottage so has we were running late she was able to put lights on for us the arrival night . There is a resort within walking distance if you do not want to cook . Would definitely go back has its a perfect quiet and relaxing getaway

Very nice cabin , great location in very quiet and peaceful South Pender. Everything provided and very responsive owner. Lots of great hikes and beach access close by or sit on the deck and do nothing. Really enjoyed our stay.

We were after a quiet spot for the 3 of us and the dog and to get away from the hot summer in the city and this was perfect. Cool air from the ocean and an idyllic spot to relax with the little cottage and lots of outdoor space. We all slept exceptionally well and spent quality time playing games. Cottage was real well equipped for our needs and basics.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean and roomy for the 4 of us. We love Pender Island and this location is great - easy to get to various parts of the island from here. It was very quiet and there were even deer that wandered through the yard. Communication with Brigitte was great. She was very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to staying again

This is a very comfortable abode, amply supplied with cooking utensils, condiments, BBQ etc. Very clean and well maintained. A super South Pender experience. We would stay here again.

What a wonderful place to spend a week! Loved the cottage and spacious yard for our dogs to play in. Morning walks down the road to the beach was outstanding. Would highly recommend.

My wife and adult son and his girlfriend stayed for a long weekend. The place was as advertised. It was clean and well set up. The kids stayed in the loft which has two twin beds. Brigitte is a great host and I would recommend her place.

I rented this cabin with a few of my girl friends and it was the perfect place for a relaxing and tranquil weekend, felt very secluded and peaceful. The cabin was great for four people. We used the woodfire stove, the barbeque and spent a lot of time doing puzzles and hanging out on the deck and lawn. Would love to come back again!

Brigitte’s cabin is the perfect getaway! I stayed in late December, and could not have enjoyed my time here more. I will absolutely come stay again. When I arrived the fireplace was ready with kindling & wood, so all I had to do was light a match, and soon the cabin was toasty warm and cozy. She checked in during my stay to see if I needed more firewood (or anything else). It was immaculately clean, and very well appointed. Everything I needed in the kitchen was available :-) Lots of pillows and comfy bed, moonlight through the windows at night. (Also, really loved all the rugs). The location is amazing, walking distance to beaches and trails, including a Gulf Islands National Reserve with a lovely trail loop around a lake that is just a 1 minute walk up the road. 5 stars across the board.
