This cabin was amazing. The view over the lake from the deck is incredible. Even the drive thru the forest to the cabin was a lot of fun.

We had an amazing time at the Cliff House. The cabin was very comfortable, and included all the amenities you could ask for. Amazing view that we couldn't get enough off. We definitely were able to get some R&R without all the city noise. We will definitely go back!!!

Loved the cabin this is my second time coming to enjoy the ability to completely disconnect from the city and enjoy the pure wilderness, loved the hiking trails, tried two day to reach the lake by foot and when we made it it was an amazing view and accomplishment, we also visited the beavers bend park to enjoy the trails and rivers, at night is so silent and calm and the reflection of the lake is just mesmerizing, i am highly anticipating my return as it was a great experience.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cliffhouse! Drive to the cabin was scenic and manageable with our Honda CRV. Cabin was very nice, clean, and private. The view was very impressive and we witnessed some amazing sunrises! Also had some time to tour the nearby Hochatown. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun private getaway!

It was our first time to Broken Bow. The cabin was Beautiful and the morning view was AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect getaway! Amazing views,amazingly setup cabin miles away from everything. Had a little bad ice one day & Andy checked on us daily by phone. Good people… If you want a break from the world .. the cliff house is PERFECT!!!!

Amazing weekend “off the grid”! The cabin was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed for a weekend away. 5 miles from the highway, incredible views and great daily hikes! Secluded and quiet. Just what we needed.

My whole family has been coming here for over 50 years, but this is the best cabin with the best view we’ve ever had. Waking up to that sunrise was incredible. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Cliff House. Very quiet and secluded. We did not encounter another human being for our entire stay. Very quiet and awesome view!

This place was awesome. Exactly as described. Enjoyed the fact it was deep in the Forrest which meant you felt like it was just you out there! The sunrise views are absolutely stunning.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cliffhouse! It was so serene to wake up to the incredible sunrise and views of the mountains and water. We are already hoping to plan a trip back. It was just the relaxing and “unplugged” vacation that we needed!

Check in was a bit of a mess…walked through front door and it was hot inside, no air conditioning or fan was running and couldn’t find any towels or hand soap in either bathroom (checked the dryer and found it full of wet towels…and finally managed to find some hand soap under the kitchen sink). Immediately notified Ashley, the Property Manager, and she responded promptly…was very apologetic, we actually talked on the phone to go over the issues so she could report back to the cleaning company. She was going to have them come back out, but I told her they didn’t need to, I had already put the wet towels back in the washer and found soap, so there was really no need. I’ll add, Ashley was awesome through all of this, she even helped with a few questions I had prior to check in, so she deserves major kudos for being so helpful with the different aspects of my trip. The rest of the stay at the cabin was fine, I guess…the hike to the lake is always a beautiful one, but the noise level and loose dogs (dirt bike ridden right by cabins vs. taking it onto the forrest trails), negated the seclusion and peace and quiet. Out of the four trips I’ve made to the Bear Creek cabins, this is the first one I considered leaving early…between having to finish making the cabin ready before I could really start my vacation and the noise level…this was not the trip I wanted or needed.

We stayed here 5 years ago and been looking to come back ever since. Enjoyed the beautiful view through the large windows feom the cuffy couch and on the deck. Sunrises are the best. Clean and reasonably stocked with cooking supplies. We brought food and cooked everyday to save the trip into town. Enjoyed the grueling 2 mile hike down to the lake. Lots of up and down both directions (400 feet elevation change). The starlink internet wasn't too bad if you need to use it. We tried not to. About the only complaint is that the downstairs bed is only a full size.

Our stay was pleasantly more than expected. Very private and very quiet. We stargazed and observed the harvest super moon. We will definitely be back again!

Drive to this cabin is well worth it. View of lake and mountains is by far best we've ever had at Broken Bow area and we've been going to lake since 2009!! Sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking. Cabin and deck are exactly as listed. Plan to come back next year for sure!

The last time we stayed in Hochatown we stayed in a fancier cabin near the highway/main stretch however there was constant noise. During the day it was kids running around screaming or the 20 somethings partying late into the night. The Cliff House is the opposite. All you hear are the birds during the day and crickets at night. The road to get to the place requires a truck or an off road capable SUV. You will be driving on rock piles, with big dips and bumps. The cabin was clean. The bed downstairs was okay, not great. The shower was above average, plenty of water pressure. The stove has sensitive controls. "3" on the burners is fairly high heat. Keep the flame low or your eggs will burn. Watching the thunderstorms was incredible with the big windows. There was a lightning strike very close which shook the cabin. Lots of large spiders, lizards and toads outside. The view of the stars at night is great. If you want to get away from the crowds, this is the spot.

As you can see in the pictures the view is amazing, however even knowing that ahead of time it was still shocking just how amazing it is in person! We stood on the deck admiring that view over and over again - it's that beautiful!! The cabin itself was also perfect. It is very nice and very well stocked with all the supplies you need for cooking, etc. Everything was very clean and comfortable too. The wifi worked perfectly for us and we had no trouble with cell service (we are with AT&T. If peace and quiet and total seclusion is what you are looking for this is your place! We would highly recommend it!!! Let me also say - please read what they say in the description about the road that leads to the property. We didn't have any trouble driving our Ford Escape up there but you do have to take it slow and easy as they say! It is a beautiful drive through the forest though and we did see a lot of deer and some wild turkeys as well!

Couldn’t believe the views that OK had from this property. The house was perfect for two, but could fit a small family easy. The porch and views were worth the scary drive up! Can’t wait to come back to this house and the others close by. We tubed the river, fished, played golf, and watched the meteor shower from the front porch.

Our generator broke down, which is very rare, and the owner was in constant contact and had someone there to fix it before our power ran out. Stuff like this can happen anywhere, but the way that it was dealt with was excellent, they really have your back here.

We'll definitely be coming back. If you're willing to drive a bit off of the beaten path, you'll find the most breathtaking view with a great, simple cabin. Love the lake access down the road.

If you’re looking for peace, serenity, nature.. THIS is for you! Several miles off of the main road! An amazing and scenic drive all the way up to Cliffhouse. The views are just unmatched. We had a storm roll in on our last day there- and watching the trees swaying was incredibly beautiful! Sunrises and sunsets are just… unbelievable. “Pretty as a picture” doesn’t even do Justice! IT IS TRULY INCREDIBLE! The cabin was very clean, well maintained, wifi worked perfectly- even after we lost power from the storm. Well accommodated and had everything needed! We will absolutely never forget the Cliffhouse and absolutely will come back. We visited the Beavers Bend Mining Company and also the Petting Zoo/Rescue next door! Also incredible experiences! Great place to get away. Very quiet and secluded.

The cabin was very clean with the most perfect view. Very well kept. Cleanliness was 100%, view was amazing just as it is in the pictures. I definitely plan on returning with my family to this particular cabin if available.

My husband and our older sons who are fathers were able to spend some much needed down time.

The property was easy to get to. The cabin was sooo nice. We didn't want to leave. We waited to the last minute to pack and leave on our last day.They provided all the information we needed . The views are more beautiful than the pictures. You must stay there. Just what we needed to get away from the city. Can't wait to go back.

Much needed trip! They are not lying when they said you need an SUV but a 4X4 might be better! Once we got up to the cabin we stayed there for 3 days just doing puzzles and spending time together unplugged! The view was spectacular! Great communication so thank you!

This was my first stay at the Cliff House and cannot say enough good things about the cabin…it’s perfect…and the deck, that was my perch pretty much the entire time I was there when not on a trail (if you hike from the cabin to the lake, go to the right when the trail splits, it’s a much nicer “end point” to view the lake). The views are incredible, and I love how the cabin is really nestled into the trees…perfect place to decompress. Looking forward to getting back up there in the fall.

The view was postcard perfect. Great ambiance. Yes, follow instructions on the vehicles for driving on the rough road. No trouble with our Jeep. Do recommend to bring a bath mat as the floor is slick.

The Cliffhouse is just how it is described in the listing, including the vehicle and road access instructions. Getting to it is part of the fun and what helps make it secluded and private. We had perfect weather during our stay so we took full advantage of the deck and fire pit.
