Amazing week in Newport! Loved the house and the location. Our kids loved playing in the yard and with the other kids in the neighborhood. Would absolutely stay again!

My husband and I were in town for a wedding, and we brought my 1-year-old and mom. It was such a comfortable and fun place for all of us. Shannon was such a responsive and thoughtful host—when we had logistics questions (not even about the unit!) she went above and beyond to help us get information. it was a great place for our kid to explore in the yard. The unit was very clean, and it was a convenient distance to get into Newport for wedding events. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Perfect space for our party of 5. Host was easy to communicate with. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area. Short walk to the beach and absolutely loved having coffee in the morning on the bench swing.

For the most part we were pleased with the property. My only issue was with the small size of the shower in the King bedroom.

Shannon's house worked out perfectly for our sailing crew of 5 (2 couples and 1 single crew member). Lots of room and not far from Sail Newport!

Nice apartment near First Beach and a short drive to Second Beach or Newport. Lots to do in area. Plenty of space for all 5 of us in well decorated clean unit. Host was attentive and top notch!

I'm glad we chose this property for our RI stay. It's easy access to Newport and Middletown and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was stocked with all essentials and the owners let us use their beach chairs, cooler and umbrella. Having two bathrooms was a blessing with a teenager, all in all a great stay! Thank you!

This was a wonderful girls trip…. Place was clean and host was responsive when a breaker blew from a hairdryer. All around good experience

It was a pretty hot and humid week in Newport, but Shannon supplied two portable AC units and several fans to help keep the unit comfortable. The rental is in a fantastic neighborhood (my friends and I have rented within a few blocks of the property every year since 2016 for the Folk Festival). We'll definitely be looking at this property when we plan for next year.

We enjoyed our stay with Shannon. Great hosts and the house was well suited to the needs of our family with young children. Everything was clean and as described. The location is closeby to everything you would want. We plan to stay there again for our next trip to Newport.

Excellant location, just what we were looking for. The apartment feels more like a house than an apartment. It's very separate and private. I gave a four stars for cleanliness because there's no dishwasher. Other than that , the apartment was very clean. Very nice washer & dryer.

We had a great time at Shannon's place in Middletown. This was our third trip to RI and our second time staying in Middletown. Shannon's place is less than a mile to Second Beach (which was the main draw for us) and just minutes to Newport. Can't thank Shannon enough for making our stay so enjoyable.

Shannon was the best! Very accommodating when it came to trying to figure out my arrival with a hurricane hitting the area! She greeted me upon arrival with plenty of information of things to do in the area. Told me not to hesitate if there is something she doesn't have in the rental she would get it right over to me. VERY clean! I can definitely see renting this place in the future. Even in the Winter, Newport is a great place to visit especially around the holidays. Whether it's for a week or a long weekend, I will be back

This house was perfect for our week-long family beach getaway. Very well located in a family friendly neighborhood, walking and biking distance to first and second beach and close to downtown Newport. House was clean and well-equipped, with plenty of space for our part y of 5. Hosts were generous, kind and conscientious. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfectly located to so many wonderful places to see and so much to do. We all had a great vacation.

Our family had a great time in Newport! The house was lovely and well-stocked, and Shannon was welcoming and friendly. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The house is a short walk to the beach and only a couple of miles from downtown Newport. And we loved visiting with Shannon’s dog Felix! Would definitely stay here again if we head back to Newport.

Everything was great…location, cleanliness, hospitality and comfort. We had plenty of room and my grandchildren loved playing in the yard with the neighborhood kids! Shannon and Chris made sure we had everything we needed and more! Look forward to going back!

Spent two great weeks with sailing friends.

We just returned home from staying at Shannons downstairs apartment rental. Shannon misses no detail. The rental was spotless and we had everything we needed for our week away from home. Beds and living room furniture are extremely comfortable. Shannon provided portable AC units during our stay when it became humid but there was such a wonderful breeze coming from being close to the water the fans and windows open worked very well also. Shannon and her family live above the unit but never intruded. They were all so welcoming and helpful giving us suggestions for things to do and places to eat. They also have a wonderful dog, Felix, who visited us outside during our stay. He’s a giant lovebug. I really can’t say enough good things about the property and the owners. This was a gem of a find and we will definitely be yearly repeaters

We rented this apartment for the duration of a project we were working in the area. Very convenient and offered our guys the ability to come home after a long day of working and have more than just a hotel room. Fully stocked and clean. Our guys were happy to stay there!

The property was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room and a good kitchen. Our host, Shannon, was terrific - one of the best we have had. She was eager to help us make the most of our stay and offered several helpful tidbits along the way. My daughters thoroughly enjoyed the visit and asked if we could book again next year!

The owners were extremely generous and accommodating, and I can't emphasize that enough. It's also not often that the place looks better in person than from the pictures online. There is plenty of room, we fit 6 adults and a two year old comfortably. The place is only a short walk to Easton's beach and the Cliff Walk, so it's perfect for a beach getaway. 10/10 from our group, thanks Shannon!

Shannon, our host, was very helpful and accommodating. She answered our questions in a timely fashion and kindly provided assistance. The property met our needs and allowed our family to have a warm place to stay during the cold off-season.

I had the impression we were renting the entire house. Aside from that everything in the house seemed new, the linens and beds and pillows were really comfortable; full kitchen; and the furniture quite comfortable. Beautiful garden and quiet neighborhood. Great location to all parts of the Island.

Family was friendly and responsive but not intrusive - had a great experience and highly recommend
