Cabin was excellent. Fun for families especially the variety of games for kids. Roads in and out of the cabin are a little tricky especially at night. Great experience overall!

Beautiful view and quiet location away from Gatlinburg! We enjoyed the game room, firepit, grill, air fryer, and the hot tub. Another review mentioned the floor trim being a trip hazard and I second that as our only real problem. Communication was fast and easy. Overall we adored this hidden gem and hope to return!

Had a great stay with our family. Cabin had everything that was needed for a terrific vacation. Kitchen is well stocked, all the games downstairs kept the kids occupied. The hot tub was great after a long hike. Loved sitting by the firepit at night and the views were better than the pictures. Marian made the check-in process super easy and made herself available if we had needed anything, which we didn't. Would recommend as great place for families.

Not a single issue with our stay here. Marian was extremely urgent with any correspondence and the place was outright amazing. Fully stocked kitchen, Awesome views, private, serene, clean, this place has it all. We are already talking about utilizing this cabin again for our next Smokies trip.

We had a great time. The cabin is well equipped and location is convenient. Nice view and paved road. But it should be noted it is narrow and steep. I am very glad that we had no rain. My only recommendation would be to change one of the beds upstairs to a larger size. It was a bit cramped for us. We would recommend this cabin for sure!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is situated at the top of the mountain and the views are amazing. It is so quiet and peaceful. There were an abundance of animals to observe including bear, deer, squirrels and turkeys. My husband and I enjoyed the wrap around decks that look into the woods and mountains. The kids enjoyed having the entire lower level to hang out, watch TV and play games. The kitchen was fully stocked for family meals. The entire cabin was quite clean. Our hosts were wonderful and very easy to communicate with. When we arrived, a storm had just gone through which knocked out the power to the cabin. I contacted Marian and she immediately made sure that the power company was aware of the situation and this was fixed within a few hours of our arrival. When the hot tub didn't work after the power was restored, she made sure that someone came out to find out what the problem was and fixed this immediately. When I messed up our vacation schedule and didn't realize that we were supposed to check out on Monday instead of Tuesday, she was very gracious and allowed us to leave later than planned. Bottom line - if you are looking for someplace in the heart of the action, this isn't it. The cabin is a bit remote and the road leading up to it is narrow, winding and basically one lane. You are close enough to all of the action but don't give up any of the relaxation. We would stay again.

This location is now our new family favorite. It is secluded at the top of the mountain. Last house at the top. Last year we had our own pool and our kids still loved this place more. Beautiful mountain views. We enjoyed every aspect of this cabin. Tons of room for a family to enjoy. I will definitely not choose anywhere else to stay.

This was our first trip to the Smoky Mountains. Marian was very easy to work with. Property was great. Location at the end of a windy mountain road was private and served as an ideal "home base" for us to both relax and explore the area. When not relaxing on the deck with a good book and a spectacular view, we enjoyed everything from white water rafting and zip-lining, to hiking and walking around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

The property location is very beautiful and peaceful. Amenities are as described (nice hot tub, stocked kitchen, and game room). The beds are comfortable and had space for the family. We had some maintenance issues upon arrival which were reported but not addressed. We ended up fixing the washing machine ourselves. The refrigerator was not cooling properly in the kitchen so we used the one in the basement for our critical items throughout our stay. The last two days of our trip were on the warmer side and that is when the air conditioning was not holding the temperature in the home (came home from our day outing and it was at 80 degrees). We hope the owners address the issue as it will be warm for others in the summer months. Overall, we love the location and the amenities at the cabin. If the maintenance issues get resolved, it is a lovely place to stay.

We had to cancel our original cabin booking with another host due to bedbugs discovered at the cabin the night before we were to check in. We found this cabin and host. She was friendly, fast, and very efficient. We were able to secure the cabin with as little as 24-hours notice. The cabin was a little dusty but clean. Simple furnishings but met all our needs. It’s 28 minutes from town. Beautiful view. There are other cabins nearby, but barely able to be seen if at all and the prevailing solitude was easily felt and enjoyable.

We stayed here a few nights while visiting our oldest daughter in Carbondale. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it it anyone. The only thing I would like is a few tvs in the bedrooms.

Our stay at this cabin was incredible! This cabin is truly a mountain cabin, last stop on drive. Cabin was clean, beautiful views, all the amenities a family or a group could ask for! Hosts communicated promptly and were extremely accommodating! Could not ask for anything better! Absolutely made our stay in Pigeon Forge

First time to the mountains and this cabin absolutely did not disappoint!! It snowed our second and third day there and the views were MAGICAL!!

We stayed for a long weekend after Christmas and enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, the game systems, the wraparound porch, and the grill. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location made it easy to go out to eat, go, sightseeing, and enjoy shopping. We would definitely book again.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The property is beautiful and views were even better! The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with and even checked in on us the day of our arrival. With the cabin being located at a dead end, there no sound of traffic which was exactly what we were looking for with this stay. Definitely recommend and we look forward to staying here again!

The cabin is beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. Awesome views of the mountains. Very clean and fully stocked with everything you need. We only had 2 minor complaints. The downstairs double bed was uncomfortable and we kept tripping over the raised trim at the fireplace/door, especially the point. Not sure we understand why it was designed that way. Overall, excellent cabin!

We had an amazing time at this property and the area. We did hiking, fishing, horseback riding and rented a boat at lake Douglas for the day. Everything was within a 30-35 minute drive. The property was exactly as it was described. We spent many evenings relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the views. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We were able to use the fire pit area a couple of nights as well. The kids enjoyed the game room as well. Will definitely rent again when we return to the area. It was hard to leave.

The cabin was even bigger than expected! Everything was super clean and it had everything you would need while on vacation! The pictures don’t justify the view! Make sure to sit on the huge porch and take it all in, especially those sunrises, or a peaceful rainy night! Marian was very helpful and went above and beyond to help with any questions we had. This place is definitely a gem, and an amazing place to run away to! We will definitely be back and were so sad to leave!

So much to do and see. Breathtaking views, relaxing hot tub, games for family - even mom and dad got in on the fun with pinball and basketball!

My Family and I just got back from this amazing house. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub and game room but we enjoyed the views and quiet the most. It was great to watch the fog roll in through the valleys and up and over the next hill. The hosts were great and the cabin was well stocked. I would recommend it to a friend for sure.

Amazing is all I can say. We did not want to come home. I am not sure we could have found a better place. The property manager was so nice and the location and cabin were great. We look forward to visiting again.

If you want to avoid the fray of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge but still want to be close, this is a great location. Amazing view and quiet location. Lots to do in the house and an easy drive to all the tourist things.

The owner responded immediately to all of our questions. She had a binder with all sorts of information and suggestions along with websites and menus for nearby restaurants. This was by far the cleanest, friendliest, and hassle free vacation we’ve had. Highly recommend this place!!

Marian was great. So about the property. It’s in a perfect location. Close to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg, but in a nice remote area. It’s on a dead end road at a higher elevation with an amazing view of the mountains. This place has literally everything you need to have an amazing getaway. Fire pit, clean hot tub, lots of room inside, and outdoors to entertain. Usually you would come to this area to go see attractions, but this property and setup was so perfect it became the attraction. So thankful I found this gem. Will definitely be back!
