This property literally has any and everything you need. The kids loved swimming and using all of the fun lake toys they have. Extremely clean. The neighbors and dog Lilly were so pleasant and friendly. We will definitely be back.

The house was clean and well-stocked with a great view of the lake, and it was the perfect size for the two of us. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the bottle of wine gifted by the owners as it was our anniversary-such a nice surprise!

We wanted to get away from home for a short time, but being more susceptible to the virus, our options were limited. This property is amazing!! Cute little house that is impeccably maintained and extremely clean was perfect. The bed in the master was amazing! Kim provides bathroom and kitchen supplies so that you don't have to pack so much. The dock area was so comfortable - nice chairs in the sun and couch and chairs in the shade. Ladder on dock made it easier to get in and out of the water. Quiet area of the lake, but plenty of boats and wave runners to watch. Multiple deck areas have tables and chairs and couch and chair areas. The hot tub was great at night and they had the fire pit all ready for us to just light and enjoy our smores! We used the gas grill numerous times. Kim was always quick to respond to my questions both prior to our trip and during our trip. We couldn't have wanted anything else! Highly recommend if you don't have a large group. Thanks, Kim!

I can't say enough great things about this place! This is our 3rd time at this house. It is perfect for our family of 4. The owners are amazing to work with. The extras make it perfect, such as the hottub, deck furniture, dock furniture, kayaks, etc. We have a great time just floating off the dock. When inside, the view out the large windows is amazing. The house is clean, cozy, and comfortable. A perfect COVID vacation!!!

We loved the house, the multiple seating spots and decks, and the dock out on the water. No issues at all, and the owners were generous and kind. Would be interested in staying there again!

The owners have thought of everything. There's a hot tub, fire pit, very nice dock and comfortable furniture on the deck and dock. You can lounge in the sun or the shade on the dock. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you want to prepare your own meals. It is a great private getaway.

Loved the rapid water access, ease of swimming and fishing right off the dock and access to kayaks and paddle boards. Outdoor spaces are incredibly new and clean. Many deck levels ... water dock with chairs. Fire pit for s’mores. Deck off house with hot tub and covered pergola. Used and loved each one. Inside was nicely appointed and updated. Was ac in main living spaces that made way to bedrooms without a problem. Washer dryer in bathroom was very convenient. Loved the outdoor shower. Would definitely stay again... in fact we are coming back next summer! Thank you Kim and John.

We had the best time! The house is beautiful and we love the location. This time we ventured out on the jet skis and went to the state park which were pretty close. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Powell Lake house and it made for a great weekend getaway. We really enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces, there is a semi-covered seating area close to the house which was great for lunches and games. The terraced back yard has multiple seating areas with views of the lakes and a nice fire pit. There is a great dock with additional seating, lounge chairs and kayaks which we used every day. The two person hot tub was great and allowed a good view of the lake. Having only one bathroom was a bit of a challenge with a family of four and was really the only negative. The shower head did break but John and Kim quickly replaced it and with a nicer fixture. There are a lot of stairs down to the house from street level, wasn't a problem for us, but could be if someone in the group has mobility issues.

We stayed here for a long weekend before kids had to go back to school. This house has EVERYTHING you might need to enjoy yourself. Our goal was to get to the property and never leave for anything except to swim and play in the water. We were able to do it because this place truly is home. We would most definitely come here again. Great, quiet location with incredibly responsive owners. Thank you for letting us stay!

This was our first stay at Powell Lakehouse. We planned a mini getaway last minute and Kim & Johns communication from the start was great. The amenities were fantastic. From inside details such as bath robes, beach towels, extra toiletries, they had everything you would need more. Outside was beautiful. The deck furniture is very comfortable. They have so many activists to do. Our only regret is that we didn't reserve this spot longer! We look forward to going back!

We spent the week at the Powell Lakehouse. We could not rate it highly enough. Everything was taken care of and beautifully maintained. We have high standards and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The Powells were wonderful to work with and very responsive. The house and dock and all the amenities made for such a wonderful week. Thank you for allowing us to spend the week! We will be back!

We had an absolutely fun, relaxing time at this property. It was a girls trip with my adult & teenaged daughters. The Powell's were very super friendly & helpful. We forgot butter on our trip to the store & a simple text to Kim & we had a stick to finish making lunch! The lake house had every little amenity from shampoo to waffle mix to providing towels. The place was just as described in a nice quiet cove. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks, lily pad & water toys. We grilled out almost daily & ate meals on the large deck. The hot tub was nice to relax in at night & see the stars. The sunset views from this property is breathtaking. John & Kim make you feel like you are at home. I would recommend staying at any of the properties they manage. As for us, we will be booking our annual Ozark trip with the Powell's! Thanks again Kim & John :)

Kim and John have a beautiful lake house. We had everything we needed and more. Kim had waffle and bread mix along with all condiments you need to cook a great meal and kitchen necessities. Husband commented that the bed was the best he had ever slept in. Every thing you need is provided. Big soft beach towels, lots of paper products,games,candles float noodles for the lake and much more. Ceiling fans in every room with throw blankets in the living room. Powell Lake house was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. We could not have asked for a better place. Everything we needed was right there and the view was incredible. Kim and John are wonderful people that provide their guests with the best experience possible. I highly recommend this rental and will definitely return in the future!

We stayed at the house for memorial day weekend. The house was nice and was as described. We enjoyed our stay and would like to stay again.

Clean, quiet and cozy says it all. Highly recommend for just decompressing or some family fun on the water. Hosts are a first class couple that are readily available if there is anything needed.

My spouse and I came down for the weekend, this place is so cute! They have an awesome setup on the dock as well as the back yard with the hot tub! Very very clean and private! The living room is so lovely to wake up and walk into with the beautiful wall of windows. Kim was such a delight and we will be staying here again!

Wife and I stayed here for a 3 day getaway and it was perfect. I travel a lot with work so I stay in hotels very often. So we like to getaway and stay in homes. And this one was great,, from the great sheets to the comfy robes, and large bath towels. Very clean and comfy. The lake view from the living room and the deck are spectacular. Finishing it out with the hot tub. Had a wonderful time , we'll definitely be back.

This was our third stay at Powell Lakehouse and it just keeps getting better!!! Kim & John have made many improvements since our last visit including adding a hot tub to the deck, a pergola, and new patio furniture. One of my favorite new additions is the floating dock with lounge and deck chairs. I enjoyed the gentle sway from the waves of passing boats as I soaked in the sun on the lounge chair. The inside of the Lakehouse is just as amazing! We picked up a few groceries at the market and cooked all of our meals in. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. One of my other favorite features at the Lakehouse are the comfortable beds! The mattress is just right and the sheets are the best I’ve ever slept on. If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway at an impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable property, look no further! Kim & John have spared no detail for their guests’ comfort and relaxation! I highly recommend this property! Thank you, Kim & John! You can guarantee we’ll be back AGAIN!!!

Relaxing lake resort!

The house was perfect for us to celebrating mini honeymoon for our 15th Anniversary of marriage! The house had everything and very clean! We only need to bring our clothes and foods, that's it! We were impressed compare to other house we stayed in Florida thru VRBO which we weren't impressed. John, the owner was there but respect our private time and was very helpful w our questions and parking issue because we brought our boat but had no problem at all!! They were very sweet to give us a little gift for congratulation our anniversary! Looking forward to stay there again in future!! Thank you John & Kim!!

This house was perfect for our family of 4. You can't beat the view of the lake as you sit on the deck. The kids LOVED playing on the paddleboards and jumping right off the dock. Every day and night the deer were plentiful along our drive to and from the house. We fished right off the dock and had a very relaxing time. The house is exceptionally clean and well cared for. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to be right on the water with a great view. Thanks to the Powells for an amazing week!

The house was so clean and well decorated. Attention to the details was obvious. The amount of improvements and work that the owners have done since the tornado is nothing short of amazing. The location was perfect and we all had a ton of fun floating, paddle boarding and fishing off the dock. The neighbor even let the kids jump off of his diving boards. Kim was so kind to let us use their hot tub since ours wasn't working. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends.
