Fantastic location with beautiful views and direct access to the beach right from the deck. Quite location which we completely enjoyed. We had four adults and the house was perfect for our group. Overall this is a great property but it still needs some serious attention to detail which is what drove my review down. The door locks on this house are frustrating. More information on how to use them would be helpful. My son and I spent 20 mins trying to figure out how to lock the front door which is defective and has to be manipulated to get it to lock. Once we locked it, we avoided it and only used the deck door. The was frustrating. The key instructions were confusing as there were no additional keys in the kitchen drawers. Some of the outdoor motion sensor lighting was not working which would have been helpful at night. There is mold in the bathrooms on the ceiling that needs to be cleaned up. That was a big turn off. The other thing, was that some standard convivence things were lacking, such as only two trash bags for the kitchen, One roll of paper towels and no backup toilet paper. For a 5 night say at this cost we should not have had to go purchase additional toilet paper and deal with trash bags. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The deck had great seating and there are some beach items under the deck such as beach umbrellas. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Luna Sea but there are some things that need attention at this level.

The house worked perfectly for our family of 9 (5 adults/4 children). The location was great. Not in the middle of masses of people but close enough to the places we wanted to go. Beach was quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Luna Sea did not disappoint. The home was spacious and clean. Our family of 11 adults and a one year old were comfortable in this home. The location of this home made beach access a breeze. Restaurants are nearby and the neighborhood was quiet. Check in and check out was easy. There was plenty of parking. I highly recommend Luna Sea.

Overall pleased and happy! TV color in family room not good. No hand mixer, but found the attachments. Only two hand towels for two bathrooms.

Loved the location of the house but there were issues that never got resolved. The dryer was broke and never replaced. Had repairmen there everyday for a broken fan and to fix dryer, then replace but it was the wrong size and it never got resolved while we were there. The location and the beach were perfect. Had a great time with family. The dryer being broke was super annoying!! Havnt heard from management about a refund.

The location and the layout of the house were great for our family! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking needs. Our complaints were with the cleanliness of the property, as well as how many things were broken or faulty. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms are broken, electrical wiring dangling from outlets, drawers falling out, bathroom light falling off the wall, just to name a few. Our family immediately cleaned bathrooms after purchasing cleaners and scrubbed floors so your feet wouldn’t turn black! This property needs some things fixed and a thorough cleaning for the price of the rental fee! The layout, parking, location, and view are wonderful! We love this area but will most likely book elsewhere since things were not up to par.

Alittle nervous at first not hearing from VRBO or owner, but everything worked out great. After reaching out to owner, he quickly calmed my nerves the week of our arrival. An awesome place and an amazing time! Thanks!

Great house for families, plenty of sleeping space, great open living area, deck with amazing views. We had a few days when the waters were closed but kids were able to play in the sand right off the deck.

Arrived to damp/dirty towels on top of washer and dryer and dirty sheets on beds. Also, one roll of TP in each bathroom when we booked an 11 day stay. No garbage bags. We had to purchase all supplies and do laundry day of arrival. Completely absurd. Dirty floors made feet black daily. TV in main living room is hardly watchable and cords everywhere dangling with toddlers. Besides the location being nice, we would not recommend this property to friends or family. For the price, you can find far better properties.

We want to thank Blake for his compassion and making our stay enjoyable. We were there for a week during Christmas. It was unexpected cold when we got there, the power was out. We had to go to a hotel the first night due to power was out in the area. Blake contacted us the next morning to inform us power was back on. Then the heater didn't work, but someone came out and fixed it. It was rough at first but everything pan out. Blake took care of the situation for our inconvenience. We really appreciated that because we were on a budget. The view was breathtaking!!!!!. Our tv's didn't work in the bedrooms but it wasn't a deal breaker. The kids brought their play stations. We went to see the dolphins and it was great. We did lots of shopping at Tanger outlets,. Lot of stores were close, even walking distance. The beach was private so it wasn't crowded. Yes. House cleaning told us she was going to tell the owner there was a broken step halfway to entrance door also the window covering had fallen and was outside on the deck I reached out but we were due to leave the next morning by the time I was answered back Don’t know if repairs were evere made or not

Overall, it was a great stay! Location is perfect. Ample space, comfortable beds, great communication with owner. I would've given a higher rating except the doors were EXTREMELY difficult to lock/unlock (traditional key and not a keypad), and there were a few items in need of repaor/replacement - like the shower heads being caulked/sealed to the wall, replacement of shower curtain (pretty dirty at the bottom and kept sticking to my legs when trying to shower - perhaps a mold proof weighted inner liner would be better). The above wasn't enough of a deterrent for us, we opted to extend our stay an extra night! Again overall a fantastic stay.

We had a wonderful time! House has plenty of towels & kitchen supplies. Balcony is fully furnished with a swing under the deck. Beach is beautiful and quiet. Thanks to prior renters who left beach umbrella, chairs and canopy, also many beach toys for kids! We saw beautiful sunrises on the beach though sunset is blocked by tall condos. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Property was accurate of online listing, clean and overall a lovely place to stay.

The check in/out process was simple, house was very clean and had everything you need for cooking/bbq. Shopping centers, groceries and restaurants near by. Also, had beach chairs and toys available. The beach and water was great. The only complaint nails on the stairs coming up from beach kept popping up, kept pounding them back down. The TV in main room poor picture.

We usually stay at the same condo but decided to give a beach house a try. This home was beautiful and so relaxing. We had a couple issues pop up but the property manager was quick to address the issues. We were able to rent beach chairs for the week and just had an amazing time. We will definitely be back!

Great location on the beach! Floors were filthy and were mopped every day for 4 days before our granddaughters and the bottom of our feet wouldn’t turn black anymore. Would love some coverage on the outside deck but I should have been more careful when booking. Deck was pretty unusable from 8 AM til sunset. Kitchen drawers are rough but kitchen was very well supplied. Great week overall but mostly because of having the whole family together on the beach.

My family and I have been vacationing in Gulf Shores for 13 years and no house has met our needs better than this one. We beach all day and like to spend time cooking rather than eating out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more! I have already booked our vacation for 2023!

I would definitely recommend this house. It is very well laid out and updated. It was comfortable for our family of 8 (6 kids). It sits on the perfect stretch of beach for both swimming and fishing, yet is close enough to the action of downtown Gulf Shores. It was also well stocked.

This was our second stay at Luna Sea (first visit was in 2019), and we loved it just as much— maybe more. The property is exactly as described. The location is perfect. Everything is clean and well taken care of. We had everything we needed. My only advice is to maybe pick up extra paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper on your way in. We can’t wait to stay here again!! Also, on this trip, we booked with iBeachservice.com to come set up chairs and umbrellas on the beach for us every morning (and take down in the evening), and reccomend this as well.

Great house right on the beach. There is a sand dune you have to walk over to get from the house to the shore that can be hard for people who cannot get around well. Overall, beach was not crowded and house was very nice

This home has the ocean for a back yard! We had eight children ages 3-12 but the sand dune between the home and beach made it safe for them to play outside as well as provide a real vacation for the adults as the children (with supervision) could walk back and forth to the beach. The home was clean and provided enough space for all 12 people. Would highly recommend this vacation spot with many options of entertainment for all ages.

We enjoyed our vacation so much! Location of this home is amazing, loved being on the beach. The owner is super easy to work with. Had an issue with the AC and he had someone out to fix it the next morning.

The location of this house was great. The beach was great but when we got there we noticed black mold on the ceiling of both bathrooms and the paint was peeling on the ceilings too. It was concerning to us so we notified the host and it took them about 5 hours to get to me and then it was a couple of days before they told me someone could come out and fix it. Then the person they got to fix the problem never came out when they said they were going to and when they said they could come out the next day I told them never mind because we only had a couple more days on our trip. In all I wasted hours of my trip on this issue that should have been resolved the day we got there. The back door of the house was so hard to open that we were never able to use it. To say the least I was very disappointed.
