Everything was “as advertised.” We had 4 adults & it was perfect for us all to have our own space. We agreed we would happily return!

This condo met the needs of our family group of ten nicely. It was clean and ready to go on arrival. We had a issue with a toilet and one of the TV's, but management took care of the problems quickly. The parking on the 8th. floor was very convenient. The grilling area was very nice, with plenty of grills and tables. The kitchen was well supplied, the only thing I would suggest is more kitchen towels, and some pot holders. All the windows were great and we had wonderful views, but it did warm up inside in the afternoons. All in all it was a very nice unit, and we thoroughly our week there.

My only complaints are that the code for our door did not work after 9:00 a.m. on our checkout day and checkout time was 10:00 a.m. Luckily some of us were packing while others of us were loading the cars so we had someone to let us in but the code MUST work until checkout time. Also, no seasonings except a small salt shaker in the condo. The front desk was super slow, had an away message and said they'd be back soon but it took 15 minutes for someone to show up.Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very clean and looked very similar to the pictures. It was just what we needed for 6 adults, 2 children and one infant.

When we first got to the condo there was a very distinct smell of cigarette smoke coming from the laundry room. The smell never went away. There was a large hole in the guest bedroom that was leaking from the floor above. Plumbers came in multiple times throughout our stay to work on the issue. The dishwasher works, but is tough to close and start. The toilet in one of the master bedrooms overflowed from the top during our stay and we had to shut off the water to that toilet until it could be fixed. The listing looks very nice online, but we were a bit disappointed with the overall quality and cleanliness.

Really nice condo and the views were the best!

My family and I celebrated my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary at the condo December 26-30th and it was amazing! Exceptional views of the ocean from the balcony, living room, dining room, kitchen, and all four bedrooms. We had 11 people there and it was so spacious that it never felt like we were on top of each other. We had such a great time that we hope to go back again sometime soon. The only complaints were that 1- the coffee maker did not work, and 2 - the fire alarms for the entire building went off three times while we were there. There were no fires that we are aware of, but we had to evacuate to the lobby each time. The building was cleared fairly quickly and there was a rumor that someone may have pulled the alarm. I have never had that happen when I’ve rented a condo somewhere before. That, of course, isn’t something that can be controlled, but it was unusual. Overall, it was an incredible stay and would love to stay there in warmer weather so we could actually swim in the ocean and make use of the outdoor pool and lazy river. Beautiful place!!!

We rented three, four bedroom condos for our family, which comfortably held 29 of us. While I understand we are nearing the end of the summer with a lot of people in and out thus far, I was disappointed with a few things that should not have been an issue especially with the price you pay. There is a cigarette smoke smell, clogged showers, leaky faucets, one dish towel, dirty carpet, broken shelves, disorganized kitchen and very dirty vents and ceiling fans (dust falling on beds). Simple fixes, yet they add up. Luckily my husband is very handy. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

This was our second year that our entire family (12 total, ages 9 to 78) vacationed at Phoenix West and we loved every minute of it. The living area is amazing. It is so spacious and even with all 12 of us it never felt crowded. The four bedrooms are all a good size although the one with two double beds is a little tight but we had 3 teenage girls in there and they did fine. We were on the 8th floor which is the top floor of the parking garage so we were able to drive right up to our condo and carry in our belongings and groceries with no problems. We had the end unit with a balcony on two sides so the view of the beach and surrounding area is amazing and the sunsets are spectacular. The building is very quiet…we never heard any other tenants. Plenty of grocery stores all within a short drive of the condo. Expect to have a great time if you choose Phoenix West!

Be prepared to bring all of your own amenities. For what we paid to stay there per day and booking for 7 days, it would have been nice if they provided more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. One tiny bottle of dish soap, paper towels were almost empty when we got there, etc. We’ve stayed in many vrbos, this was the most expensive and the least stocked. We will definitely be back to gulf shores but will go with a different condo.

My only complaint was when we arrived and opened the door I smelled smoke right away. Mainly the Foyer and Master area, I did get used to the smell but if you are sensitive to smoke this unit is not for you. I thought Phoenix was a non smoking building. I had just stayed here in 2306 and it did not smell like smoke, someone definitely was smoking in this unit. Very sad because you can't get rid of that smoke once it's in the carpet and drapes. Besides that if it wasn't for the smoke I would rent this unit again.

The place is beautiful. The design and furniture was amazing. I was so inspired by the style of the master bedroom that I searched the vendor and purchased the bedroom set for myself. The kitchen layout is very accommodating and is fully stocked with all tools; pots, pans, dishes, etc. However, the toilets in all the bedrooms are small and they need to be upgraded to an adult or commercial size. They are for children, in my opinion. We will definitely book again.

We loved staying at Phoenix West! Truly one of our favorite condos we have stayed at. Everything was very clean, the space was really well laid out, and the amenities of the building were fantastic! We loved the lazy river, and the bonus of beach chairs we found in our condo. Made setting up on the beach super easy. We only had 2 things we would have changed, the first was that the dishwasher didn't work the first 5 days of our 7 day trip. However, before we message the host to let them know someone came to the condo to completely replace the dishwasher. That was amazing! Our only issue was that we did not receive any communication that the dishwasher would be replaced before they showed up. Luckily we were leaving the condo to go out for the day, but we ended up being rushed out. Not a huge deal, we just wished we could have received some notice. Lastly, in the back 2 bedrooms the vent to the outside of the building constantly flap, which makes a super loud metal banging noise. This was constant during the vacation, and rather annoying for the people staying in those rooms. We mentioned it to the men that came to exchange the dishwasher, he said he managed the condo for the owners, and he dismissed this complaint. He said "it's just windy today." Which granted, it was, but this was something that we had heard for multiple days. He didn't end up looking at it, so just beware when staying there that there might be a clanking noise from the bathroom fans. Other than those 2 things we did really love the unit. However, because of those we might not re-book this unit and instead do a different unit in the same building.

Beautiful views from corner condo on 8th floor. Spacious and comfortable.

We found the unit to be not as clean as it could be. When we first arrived we thought it might be a smoking unit because of the strong smell. Mold and mildew in the toilets, showers, garden tub and even the bar ice machine. The dishwasher is old and did not dispense the detergent. Dishes in the cabinet were dirty. Dryer takes several cycles to dry, and fridge needs new filter. Windows dirty. I get that it was probably empty for a couple of weeks before our January stay, but REALLY needs a deep clean. This unit has beautiful views, a well appointed kitchen and nice layout. Furniture was comfy and the balcony was nice. If it was properly cleaned I would stay here again.

Everything was just as described. Having a unit that has same level parking made it a no hassle process to load/unload. Very spacious and functional.

A great location and room. The balcony had a great view as it wrapped around the back and side of the building. Plenty of room for all of our extended family. Parking was a big plus in that you could park on the level of the room and didn't have to wait for elevators when loading and unloading car. Only slight problem was cable and internet was very glitchy. Internet had trouble connecting some and cable went out at times (never was able to get it to work at all in one bedroom) but property owner was very responsive to this and had a technician at the unit in less than an hour after we reported it. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a lot of fun here even though the weather was a bit chilly ; although our kids didn't seem to notice and wore out the waterslide. It's nice to have a heated indoor pool. The beach was beautiful. This condo is very comfy like a home away from home. We all slept like babies. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and we love to cook and grill out while we are on vacation.

This 4 bedroom condo and it's view was amazing. The bedrooms fit our two families well. The 5 bathrooms and laundry room were very nice. This West facing condo has amazing views of the beach and scenery. You get a view from every bedroom and the whole open living room/kitchen floor plan. We loved having the evening sun on the balcony. Living room furniture, kitchen stools, kitchen table and balcony seats were very comfortable and could seat a lot of people. The owner could improve on a couple of things. The sheets seemed scratchy and not the most comfortable. The kitchen was a little disorganized and lacked grilling utensils. The screens also had big tears and rips in them which we let the rental property know of right away. It didn't hinder our stay though as there were no bugs. Overall, we would DEFIENTLY stay here again!
