Can’t beat the location. Well stocked kitchen and very clean. Definitely will use again.

Cute, small studio apartment two blocks from the Library of Congress, so walking distance to all main sites in DC. Trader Joes, Eastern Market, restaurants, and metro stations all within 1/2-mile walk. Neighborhood felt very safe, even at night. Studio is well equipped w/everything needed to cook meals. Peter had eggs, milk, cereal, snacks, and various spices stocked too so check in first before heading to the store. Blinds and shades do not provide total coverage from the outside lights at night and the fridge has a continuous light on the water dispenser. If kids are staying upstairs, the running around can be heard above you. None of these bothered us but was just an observation. Peter was prompt with messaging and checking in with our stay. A perfect place for two - we highly recommend this apartment and will stay here again when we return to DC.

Clean, well-equipped apartment within easy walking distance of major Washington sites and attractions. Safe, wonderful historic DC neighborhood. Owner was friendly, incredibly helpful, and very easy to communicate with. An ideal property for anyone interested in a DC stay for work or play.

We were able to walk the capital and national library of congress. The host was helpful and very informative. The bathroom was was nice and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked, good breakfast items were provided and they even had detergent available for laundry.

This property location was amazing. Very walkable, safe and clean neighborhood. We felt very safe walking home at night and leaving our car on the street. The apartment was clean and well stocked. There were even a dozen eggs, a gallon of milk and cereal for us to enjoy. The host, Peter, went above and beyond. He informed us when we had to move our car for street cleaning and checked in on us to see if we needed anything, he even sent us a message that a storm was coming! The apartment is small but clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family as we just needed a place to sleep and make dinners and wash clothes as needed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time, all 16 of us ranging from 75-10 years old! Peter was great to work with!!!

Great location, comfortable and very clean bed/suite, fully stocked, plus street parking. What else could a business traveler want/need? Close to the Capitol plus plenty of dining etc just a couple blocks away.

The property was cozy, well taken care of, over the top supplied with bottled water, milk, snacks. Communication with Peter so easy and so friendly. I am so thankful I found it and plan to return and will highly recommend. Thank you Barry

Easy to get around, Vrbo, bus etc. Has a Starbucks and good restaurant selection within 2 blocks. Apartment has everything you need, great shower and snacks. We enjoyed our stay.

Peter's description is spot-on: A very comfortable, well-appointed, perfectly located one-room home-base for our 3 day walking tour of DC--lovely neighborhood, easy walk to great restaurants (try Ambar!) and the Mall. And Peter is continuously and generously available to answer all questions re parking (free--he manages entirely on your behalf!), logistics, sites. Just what we needed!

I have stayed at this property 2 times. Each trip was with one of my 5th grade grandsons. It is located in a safe neighborhood which is close to the Eastern Market Metro, has several restaurants that are walking distance and are not ridiculously expensive and is walking distance to many important sites in Washington. Peter is very accessible through VRBO message board and always responds in a prompt manner. I would stay here again if I went to Washington, DC.

Great little place with everything you need to enjoy a long weekend in DC. Perfect location for walking to all the sights as well as plenty of places close by to grab a bite to eat. Enjoyed the stay very much!

This property is in a terrific location, near the Capitol, blocks from two metro stations and close to Eastern Market's restaurants and farmers market. The apartment itself is small but has everything you might want: stove, oven, dish washer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, Keurig, toaster, microwave, first aid kit, ... You get the idea. The owners have thought of almost everything. I appreciated that they have placed notes throughout about how to operate everything. The place was immaculate Peter reached out to me to make sure everything was okay. My only problem was the lack of sound proofing between this basement apartment and the apartment above it. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs.

Convenient to the National mall, just a few blocks from market and restaurants and great setup for my son and I. Communication was fantastic and there were even easy to cook food stuff and cereal there upon arrival to help for an easy transition!

Great location for a DC visit! We were able to walk to all attractions around the capitol and National Mall. The host was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended!!

What a great, convenient place to stay! Location is perfect to get around and see DC; the metro and bus stop are only a few blocks away. The amenities were a pleasant surprise and the washer/dryer were a big bonus. Peter is an excellent host. Definitely a re-book when we return to DC. Thank you, Peter.

We enjoyed our stay here! The location was amazing - we could walk, bike or metro everywhere we needed to go. The space was just right for 3 of us. Peter was great with answering any questions we had. We would stay here again!

Indeed - location, location, location. We parked our car (easy parking in front of the unit, with provided parking pass) and didn't move it most of the week! Easy walk to the Capitol Building and the east end of the mall. Or we could pick up a Capital Bikeshare from the rack about a block away from the unit. A full grocery store was a drive away, but Trader Joe's, CVS, and multiple restaurants were within walking distance. The unit is small but did the trick for us and our two teen boys. Small oven (but it fit a pizza in it), microwave, gorgeous full size fridge, and a wee little dishwasher made up the kitchen. A gallon of milk, some eggs & cereal were provided to start us off for the week - a nice touch. And a washer/dryer unit. Small but functional closet to hang clothes and store a few items. Heard a bit of noise from upstairs, but frankly, we were out and about most of the time AND so tired when we arrived back home that we conked out quick. The bathroom is gorgeous - lovely shower! Our host Peter was very responsive to any questions and needs throughout the week. I would highly recommend this unit and we may stay here again sometime if it's available! This unit is PERFECT for a "home base" for someone who values location.

Our family of four wanted to stay close to the Capitol for sight-seeing. This convenient apartment had everything we needed for a perfect stay! We were within walking distance to the bus stop, metro station, and lots of great restaurants! Very safe area with so much charm! The host has gone above and beyond to make sure every thing you might need at the rental is ready for you. The entire place is very clean, comfortable, and convenient. We will recommend to family and friends!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a convenient location. The area (Capital Hill) is safe. Many restaurants within walking distance. Two metro stations 3 or 4 blocks away. Owner provides 4 metro cards which was helpful. Just take them to the metro and add funds at one of the self service machines.

The room a as cozy and perfect for our 2 night stay. 15 minute walk from the capital! 10-15 minute car ride to great monuments and food.

This place was great for our family of 4 (2 adult and 2 teenagers). Hosts were super accommodating and helpful. Left us lot of useful information about the area. The breakfast food and snacks they provided were much appreciated and a nice touch. Lots of restaurants close-by and a Trader Joe's as well. Easy walking to Metro and bus stops and to the Capitol Hill area. The noises from the unit upstairs did get a bit loud one evening but was fine otherwise. We'd stay here again

This cute little apartment is so close to the mall, we couldn't have guessed the easy walk to everything from there. This Vrbo is cute, small and not real fancy, but who needs that when you aren't there very much. The refrigerator was stocked with water, some pop, milk and eggs. There were coffee and snacks provided, plus more. I especially appreciated the Metro passes and the local maps and brochures provided as we hadn't been to DC in a lot of years. We would definitely stay again!

Peter's house was superb. Just as advertised, very clean, very well supplied kitchen and bathrooms, great location, comfortable beds, perfect for our group of 15 with the two units together. Peter always responded quickly and we are hoping to return next year.

We had a wonderful stay in Washington DC. Peter was quick to respond to all questions. He allowed us to check in a little early and out late to accommodate our travel plans. The fridge was stocked with water, soda, milk and eggs. Snacks and cereal were also available. Everything is close by including places to eat and convenient stores. We walked to most places but also Ubered and even scootered around town. Thanks again!
